We stayed one night in this very comfortable small hotel which has unusual and beautiful decor. Our room and bathroom were lovely and clean. Breakfast was delicious although the coffee was terrible. On arrival, we felt very welcome but the morning staff were less friendly.
Enjoyed our 1 night stay. What an unusual place! Very old and quirky - suits of armour in the hall, stone arches downstairs and lots of kitsch everywhere. Staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfast is amazing, never seen such a spread in Spain. The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable, lovely bathroom with a full bath. Quite an experience - if you like something different try this!
We stay there four or 5 times on our way north to France Friendliest staff, great rooms, great breakfast, great location, and well priced The vilage is a sleepy town, however, lots to see. As for the hotel nothing but praises, We really liked the tipic Spanish look Parking is very triky
A mix of styles here - part Mexican, part historical - but whether the colours attract you or not, it is a comfortable and clean family run hotel with very friendly staff. Debora on reception when we arrived speaks excellent English and was extremely helpful in advising us where to park - a space appeared just a couple of yards away. We were given a key to the main door as well as our room and had to let ourselves in later that night after a meal nearby and a wander round the cobbled streets of the town. The room was large, as was the bathroom. The only improvement would have been an overhead shower rather than hand-held in the bath. Breakfast was excellent but we do love Spanish breakfasts! No full English here but a nod to the English traveller with a good selection of cereals. Wifi was good.…
Stayed at this hotel after travelling from Estepona en route to Chateau des Vigiers near Bergerac in France. Beautiful, quaint little hotel (although a bit difficult to park close-by) with very friendly staff. The Bodega underneath the reception is a MUST SEE with loads of character. Comfortable beds in a large room & just a short walk to the 2 squares with an abundance of bars & restaurants. The hotel owner also owns a nice little restaurant ( Casa Anton) which is just 100m away & they SPECIALIZE in Roast Lamb. Definitely worth a visit!!!
