Word on the street has not spread yet to include this area of Portugal but that is too bad. We loved being so remote and really experiencing it. The hotel offered a great breakfast and recommendations for dinner as well as a kitchen to make your own dinner. The pool area was great - better than the photos.

The rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff are extremely attentive. It’s clear they take great pride in the property.
Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast each morning and the pool and garden area is beautiful. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We will definitely be returning!

My husband and I visited this beautiful Boutique Guest House, recently, during our honeymoon in Portugal. We wanted a week of sun, sea and beach in the Alentejo Coast and Grândola was the ideal place to stay, as you can easily reach all the beaches on that coast and even visit the Algarve, if you so wish.
Paula, Rita and D. Antónia were amazing. The room where we stayed was beautiful and D. Antónia had decorated the bed with rose petals and two swans made with towels. The garden is beautiful and looks especially romantic after dark, due to the many lanterns and even a floating light in the pool. We made great use of the jacuzzi, which was very romantic too, with two candles on the wall and ambiance lights.
Even though we were there at the end of September the weather got hotter by the day, so we spent most days exploring different beaches, all of which we loved! It felt more like Summer than the beginning of Autumn. We also took a day off sunbathing to go and explore beautiful towns like Beja, Alcácer do Sal and Évora.
Breakfast was always amazing: bacon and eggs but also Portuguese and French cheeses, a choice of cold meats, freshly baked cake and Portuguese specialities, juices (orange juice freshly pressed, which I prefer), coffee, espresso, a choice of teas... Always a treat! There is even a small outside kitchen near the pool, which everybody can use.
If we go back to that coast we will surely stay in Casa Morgado's again.... If you are after a Quiet and Stylish place to stay, this is surely the place to be! Great for families too!

We stayed here four nights and it was delightful. Everything is sparkling clean inside and out, and everyone extremely nice and helpful. We feel quite fortunate to have found such a wonderful place to stay.

Room was excellent, comfortable bed, absolute cleanliness,all sort of amenities. Swimming pool and garden were impecable.
Breakfast was good and the centre of the town is just at a walking distance.

We were warmly welcomed by Teresa who showed us around the place and explained the services. We had a room with a terrace. The room was spacious and well appointed with a comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with freshly cooked eggs and bacon, a selection of cheeses, hams, fresh fruit, yogurt, fruits juices, cakes, etc. The staff were friendly and courteous. There is plenty of free on-street parking outside the property and it is only a short walk into the town. We only stayed one night on our way back to Lisbon but would have been very happy to have stayed longer!

What an amazing place to stay and relax. A few steps from restaurants and supermarket. The breakfast is so good: fresh fruit and bread.
The room we stayed (privilégio) as an almost private little pateo. Very nice!!
Staff is great!!
Going to grandola this time of the year (summer) it's so different. It's quiet, but at the same time we 'll see lots of people. And the beach is 20 minutes by car.

Amazing place, a delicious house with pool, nice rooms and great beds. Staff is very helpful and careful, especially Antonia who is really great! Breakfast is served until late (12 pm). We travelled as a couple and booked for 5 days in August. Many beautiful beaches can be reached in half an hour or so. Definitely recommended for a relaxing stay in Grandola.

Quiet, romantic atmosphere, great breakfast, nice people, and, to top it off, right in the middle of the town. The place only has three or four rooms, it is fancy and yet homely. If you are looking for a few days away from everyone and everywhere, this is also a great choice.

Stayed one night in this lovely guesthouse.
They checked with us, a few hours earlier, our expected arrival time and when we rang the bell of Casa Morgados there was a nice and friendly girl from the staff waiting for us.
Fast check-in and we went upstairs to see the room. Very clean, modern and comfortable. The room had a small balcony with a table and chairs where you can chill and enjoy the view to the pool. You will find too a shared kitchen where you can cook or store your things in the fridge.
Breakfast was awesome with some regional products.
