We were due to stay just one night at Serenada but due to poor weather we extended our stay to three. We were certainly not disappointed. The room was extremely comfortable and a well designed use of space. The breakfasts were sumptuous and, as with the dinners, made with ample fresh and homemade ingredients. The winery offers an extensive range of well made and good value wines which are a great introduction to Portuguese wine varietals. The location was convenient to do day trips from and the natural setting gives beautiful views. The staff were all friendly, helpful and informative. Despite the bad weather we felt we got lucky and highly recommend Serenada for its accommodation and wines.

The space, the surroundings and the staff are the main reason for choosing this hotel. The location is strategic, close to the main places of interest in the region, but when we return we are always greeted with the calm and tranquility we are looking for. Regarding wines, we chose the Touriga Nacional single variety produced by A Serenada, a wine to try!

I only give one excellent review in which place in the world.
Since I tried many places in this area this one was my favorite!
The staff is so friendly and helpful. Book the room with the pool view, its amazing! Please dont forget to ask for the dinner in the pool, its a homemade menu with an incredible wine tasting from the vineyards around you.

What a delightful place. Peaceful and beautiful, in a rural location. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and spoke many languages. The views from the pool area are amazing. If you like wine then that is an added bonus! You can walk round the vineyards or have a wine sampling. The welcome drink was one of their own wines, served at a time and location of your choice. You can eat onsite or the nearest restaurant is about 2km away. We tried Tosca an Italian restaurant 5km away and it was fabulous too.

This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. They provide one complementary glass of wine and with that we ordered an afternoon snack, expressing our interest in salad. We got a large fresh, delicious, healthy salad to split between us. So good! They have a set meal in town, which was not something we wanted that night, so we ate in town. We both wish that the offering was something to our liking, but we fully understand with the limited staff. Those guests who did stay for the meal seemed to have an excellent meal. The complementary breakfast in the morning was also delicious. This is one of the few visits where we wished we were able to stay a second night, and if it were a little warmer, we would have jumped in the pool, which looks out over the vineyards. It is a stunning property run by an efficient competent staff.

We had a short stay at this wonderful hotel, and were immediately taken away by the incredible views. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and showed us around. We enjoyed a lovely local home cooked meal, coupled with wines they produced themselves. Some of which had won awards and they tasted great. In the morning we enjoyed a short walk around the farm, between the vineyards and cork trees. Great stay and we were sorry it was so short. Would recommend at least two nights to really soak up this great spot.

This hotel is only eight rooms and situated in surroundings that are tranquil and serene. We had spent nine days travelling the west coast of Portugal and we spent the last two days of our trip here. It’s beautiful with view over a forest. A swimming pool the overlooks the forest and sun lounges that we used to relax. We had the place to ourselves and it gave us an opportunity to recharge our batteries. We did try the beaches at Comporta but much preferred our location. The staff were kind, considerate and helpful.
Our room was sufficient for our two day stay but go for a larger one if you are staying longer. This place is down a gravel track and quite isolated. Would advise you eat there in the evening as food is good home cooked cuisine. Remember to book 24 hours before as we didn’t and had to venture out to another area. Stay here and you will never want to return to your home. It’s truly a paradise.

Just imagine: overlooking an endless pine and cork forest, small (no crowds) but very fine hotel providing everything that you need: very comfortable rooms, nice breakfast and home made gourmet dinners with very tasty wine from their own vineyard. All that provided by very friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely best value for money! Thank you!!!

The place is magnificent with a beautiful view of the valley, the sea and the Serra de Arrábida in the distance. We were upgraded to their nicest suite because it was only us and one other couple. The bed is a little soft and the cushions too hard but there are worse things. Dinner was very good and their wines are excellent. The breakfast is very good with cold meats, cheeses, eggs and pancakes à la carte, jams, honey etc.
The weather wasn't good when we arrived, we didn't use the swimming pool or the free bikes, but the service was great. There is parking available, the access road is dirt and not too damaged, we got there with our rental Fiat 500.

Wow! What amazing views overlooking the Grandola countryside and far beyond. If you're a bit of a romantic and enjoy fine wine, good food and beautiful scenery, I'm fairly certain you'll love A Serenada.
We stayed 5 days and absolutely fell in love with the place.
It's a fairly small hotel which appeals to us because you receive a more personal service.
The only minor point is that the pool is quite narrow, which is usually fine unless there are more than two people in it.
We had two evening meals with the local wine of course. The first was good but the second evening was even better with a fish dish. The wines are good with plenty of fruit flavour.
Definitely recommend.
