My wife, our 2-year-old daughter, and I was going through Europe. Chose to stay here for a night, and we had a good experience with quite supportive staff. Most was average, but I have to say that the noise from the motorway could not be detected in the room. Great plus. The surroundings look nice, and the restaurant rustique, but I cannot comment on the food.
My wife and I stayed one night at the Seeschlösschen in Gross-Köris. It was a pleasant stay; nice welcome from the staff; the dinner was very tasty (with good veggie options). The room was large and clean and the whole hotel seemed to be in a good shape with a nice garden and somewhat castle-like impression for one building at least. The neaby lake is also nice, although it seems not possible to take a walk around as the lakeside properties are all private. A few downsides; mainly the fact that the charges for dogs are steep: 9.50 Euro for a small dog and 15 (!) Euro for a large one. When we arrived, the receptionist said the price would be 9.50 Euro but the next morning another lady (although she was also friendly) said we need to pay 15 Euro as we have a large dog (which the other lady also saw but she gave a different price). That fee is excessive, I'd say (5 Euro are OK). The breakfast was somewhat basic; the offering could be richer and of higher quality (e.g. better breadrolls). And notice that Wi-Fi is not free unless you have a Deutsche Telekom subscription. Furthermore, note that I wouldn't recommend staying there for more than one night, as you hear the traffic noise from the nearby highway all over the time. But it's just fine for a stopover during a longer road trip.…
Good: ok rooms, clean bath, nothing to complain. bad: a bit outdated, small shower room, quite pricey breakfast for what it contained. I think this hotel is worth staying in if you don't take the breakfast!
I was there with my girlfriend in November 11. Hotel is very close to highway and about 300 meters to train. So, you have good connection to Berlin and Tropical Island. Rooms are big, clean with good condition. Food was good too. If you are looking for quiet hotel close to Berlin and Tropical Island I think it's a good place. Double with breakfast for 69 euro.
While touring through Germany, I received a tip to check out this hotel. Wow, this is a hotel that took my breath away. Since I was only able to stay for a few days, I certainly made the most from it. Given that there was a bit of a language barrier, that sure didn`t slow down the enthusiasm from the staff and management. It`s amazing how far communication can go with a little bit of sign language and a big smile. My hotel room was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The food was beyond amazing, the chefs took care of everything. This hotel definitely has a 5 star charm that will not take a bite out of your wallet.
