We went here for a business lunch and I have to say that the surroundings are very pleasant. There was eight of us and we all had a variety of the choices. My salmon was tasty as was the carpaccio and the service was good. I don’t know what it is but everything g could just be a little better which would make this a top spot

Located in Sale (a commuter suburb oerlooking Bouregreg River, Dawliz Resort & Spa is a very upscale hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Also, from there, you can easily reach various sites such as the Mohammed VI Mausoleum and Hassan Minaret. Our room had a nice balcony with a table and two chairs overlooking the outdoor swimming pool and the new national theater that's under construction. We had several meals there and they represented the quality of the hotel well. My wife enjoyed the facilities including the spa and our bathroom was spacious and had all the accoutrements that one would expect at a luxury hotel.

As other reviews have said, the air conditioning in bedrooms does not work. Not so much of an issue for our week at the end of October, but would be horrific at other times, as modern hotels are not designed for natural cooling. More generally this hotel is a very mixed bag - reception staff were thoroughly unhelpful about the possibility of moving to a room with a better view (despite hotel being far from full) and gave me the impression of disdain for customers. This is essentially a business hotel, so busy with conference attendees during the day - mixed with American boomers/retirees on tour, mostly staying a night only, and so out during the day. You cannot reach Rabat centre by foot (tram stop and McDonalds 5 mins walk away) although the riverside location is very pleasant, especially pool area despite building work (near completion) across the river. Certainly not a place to soak up Moroccan culture.

Room Tip: Reception fobbed me off daily when I asked about moving rooms.
