One of the attractions of Mexico is its similarity to Europe. That is old world architecture. When ever possible we choose old over new. Rosa Morada is just such a place. Small ( only 7 rooms) , located a short walk to the centre of town, wonderful courtyard and large rooms. We had a 4 corner bed with soaring ceilings, massive old doors and yet all the modern conveniences. Wifi, TV, lots of Hot Water and an included a la carte breakfast. Priced very reasonable, booked through Trip Advisor.

Spent a quick weekend here for the first time. Very quiet and no noise from the street. Breakfast is included and my only complaint is the huevos were substandard , I ordered very soft and they were harder than golf balls...not a big deal but...the shower regulator was broken, but again no big deal but...recommend this place for those that want tranquility and close to all activities...staff very helpful..

I have stayed at this lovely hotel on many occasions. It’s a 25 minute Uber ride to the airport. Good breakfast, great location, but most of all...AMAZING staff. They always provide helpful tips and a friendly smile.

I have absolutely no complaints. This hotel was very clean, on a perfect location (it's just blocks from the plaza) in a quiet area, the staff was super friendly and were available when needed, even to book a taxi in the morning for me to leave. The place is old but everything works, vey rustic for those who love an antique style. Breakfast was included and even though the cook/waiter was a bit serious he made everything so delicious, we could pick between fruit, omellets, hot cakes etc. Reasonable prices and they were happy to help with the día de muertos festival. TOTALLY WORTH It!!

An old historic house was rebuilt and wisely converted into a beautiful hostel. The layout is not too smart because rooms are aligned but the architect chose to diminish the feeling with different levels and plenty of gardening. The outcome is very pleasing to view. Our bedroom was very charming and so was the bathroom. The dining room is well illuminated and ventilated. Breakfast is very good. The reception desk staff lacks training of how to address guests. They were kind enough to help with an uber service. But watch out if you leave something in your room. When I complained about a medicine case left there, instead of being supportive and understanding, they insisted to deny any kind of responsibility and even when I went back and didn't consider complaining anymore because in the end I have no prove that the room keeper took anything, they insisted in the most rude manners imaginable. They never cared for my medicine even when I told them I cannot suspend it. My advice is that those guys get a serious hotel guest training. They are well intended people that lack professionalism. Sad.
