My wife is disabled (she can’t climb stairs) so we needed access without stairs, this hotel has a ground floor twin room with a very large shower with just a small step into it and a long grab rail, she found it very accessible. The bathroom wasn’t wheelchair friendly but the room was. The room was fresh and clean with a wide range of tea and coffee making facilities. The choice of breakfast will suite most people and plentiful. Our hosts were very friendly and with a “no problem” attitude.
We will definitely return

The Keswick is now called Seals run by a very friendly lady Mandy, and her family. Newly refurbished, really nicely, everything was very good about our 3 night stay, but the breakfast was exceptional, choices of full enormous English, or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon,or American pancakes with maple syrup and fresh fruit, the area is quite, not commercial, you can walk out of the back garden straight onto the beautiful sandy beach. So if you want a quiet safe easy to keep distancing, this a a amazing reasonably priced lovely B&B I would recommend Seals.

Now called the Seal, you will see why when you visit, which l highly recommend that you do.
However this establishment is quite popular with returning guests, so l personally would book early to avoid disappointment.

Five star Hotel quality, if that's anything to go on these Days!!

The welcome you recieve from Mandy and her family certainly makes you feel at home, still very professional, but without the stuffiness!

I have stayed at this establishment several times over you years when it was named the Keswick.

Mandy and her family purchased the property 4 years ago and like the name change
It it's self, it has changed dramatically.

A full and total refurbishment of the entire building has taken place, resulting in a tastfull relaxing atmosphere throughout.

The bedrooms are realy well planed and decorated and some of the rooms have tremendous views of the cost line.
Very comfortable beds and my room had a large ensuite, with large walk in shower.

The breakfast were amazing freshly cooked and nicely presented.

The Seal car park and grounds are extensive with lots of garden beaches etc.

The beach is at the bottom of the garden about 75mts from the hotel.

There is a private gateway to the coastal pathway along the the beach top that runs for miles in each direction, if you like walking.

All in all l had a fantastic stay and will certainly be returning both for business and pleasure.
I will certainly recommend the Seal to family and friends as l do here for you!!

From your first contact with Mandy, be it on the phone or when you arrive, you can be assured of a warm welcome and a very enjoyable stay.

I travel extensively on business etc in the UK and abroad and stay at many establishment from up market hotels to local B&Bs
So l thing l know a thing or two about accommodation.

I can assure you that l don't make a habit of posting long reviews. In this case I was so impressed that l felt compaled to do so.

Enjoy your experience if you decide to book a room here. if on busness or pleasure I am more than sure you will enjoy the experience.

Book Direct on : 01692 650468
Email: sealbacton@gmail.com.

Be aware that the Seal does not offer evening meals etc, but l am sure Mandy can recommend somewhere. Or perhaps have a Pizza in your room enjoying the sea views.

We stayed just the one night at Seals but we didn’t want to leave.
Mandy and family made us feel very welcome, the atmosphere in the B&B was relaxed and comfortable.
When we were shown to our room it looked brand new and as if we were the first guests in there! Our room was stunning and luxurious, there are two way of entering the room. You can come through the main reception but there are also double doors that open up onto the back of the property where you can see and hear the beach. There is a small table and chairs outside the room which is where we sat for our morning coffee listening to the sea.
As you enter into the room (which was actually more like an apartment ) there is a lovely seating area which is complete with fridge, hot drinking facilities complimentary biscuits and chilled water. There are blinds at the windows and doors which gives you full privacy. The bathroom has a lovely big roll top bath and a large shower. My husband loved the bathroom mirror, it’s touch screen Bluetooth enabled. The towels were soft and very fluffy. The bedroom is open plan and inviting, there are two high quality double beds with luxurious crisp linen we both had a very good nights sleep. Also in the bedroom there is a large tv, bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe hanging area. There is a separate funky WC. Great lighting throughout as well as wall mounted bedside lights. The room has lots of wood which really gives it character and looks fantastic.
The breakfast was EXCELLENT plenty to choose from the full English was delicious😋
We will definitely be returning but for longer next time!
Thank you so much Mandy & Team x

Now called Seals and run by Mandy who was from local area so very knowledgeable and friendly.
Booked at last minute so had large room at front. Next time will book earlier so can get a sea view.
Room very clean and comfortable. Mattress so firm and had a good nights sleep. Room clean and good provisions of the usual including biscuits and bottled water.
Loved the decor especially in dining room and foyer...bunting, pictures. Tasteful but not overdone. The full English breakfast was amazing....good portions and very well cooked. Icing on the cake was direct access to newly sandscaped Bacton beach.

Seals at Bacton is a jewel of BnB. Although still also known as the Keswick the place has been transformed. The rooms are fresh and beachthemed. The bed large and comfy and the tea tray is quality. A large wall mounted smart tv is present. The bathroom was clean and large with a massive shower. Wi-Fi’s is free and reliable. You can control the temp of the room easily. The sea view was great. Breakfast was high quality and wouldn’t be about of place in a hipster cafe. Usual full Norfolk but also pancakes with a variety of toppings and crushed avocado on muffin with eggs/ bacon. Dogs are allowed in some rooms. A small gate from the car park gives direct access to the unspoilt sandy beach- great for a crafty swim or a day of sandcastles. Already booked another weekend here for later in the year.
Only advice I would give is ditch the Keswick name and fully embrace Seals on social
Media.

Mandy and her team could not do enough to make our stay comfortable in this B&B. The bedrooms are decorated with a nautical theme I thought they were very attractive. My bathroom had a lovely walk-in shower and the towels were large and soft. They serve a really good breakfast with lots to choose from well cooked and presented, also everything is very clean and tidy. The Guest House is situated on top of the beach with a back gate in the car park for easy access. There is a pub next door which serves an evening meal which is handy for those not wanting to venture far. There is a general store a short walk away. We were fortunate to find this friendly & welcoming B&B and I would highly recommend it.

Stayed here last year and was delighted to be back in this fabulous location. Was lucky enough to have a beautiful sea view room, an enormous bed and a fabulous bathroom. Waking to the sound of the sea through the open windows is wonderful. The host and her team look after you so well, from providing huge, varied, breakfasts to happily sharing great local knowledge and advice.
The back gate opens onto the Norfolk Coast path and the beach.
Many of the rooms and most of the house have been completely refurbished, the attention to detail is excellent.

A group of us have been spending a New Year break in this part of Norfolk for more than twenty years usually at North Walsham but for 2020 we had a forced change and what a lucky change that was. The Keswick is a real home from home experience, the management and all of the staff are so friendly and comfortable to get along with and are all one family. The rooms are all very clean and comfy and have WiFi. t/v, and tea making facilities some have a sea view as the hotel is right on the sandy beach, breakfast is excellent but is the only meal available, good eateries are all around. There is a large comfy lounge where our party was able to relax and even play some games after eating out on New Years day. There is ample parking at the hotel with safe easy access to the road. The hotel is conveniently situated to take in the many attractions that this part of Norfolk has to offer and as already mentioned it is right on the beautiful sandy beach.

Spent five nights at this super B&B in October. Mandy makes you feel welcome immediately, our room was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated with a lovely modern shower-room. Breakfast is wonderful with a choice of cereals, fruit salad, yoghourts, juice, pastries and of course a full English(Norfolk) breakfast with various other options, We rarely needed lunch. Nothing is too much trouble for Mandy and her smiley family helpers. A small problem that arose during our visit was sorted immediately.
Highly recommended, we shall definitely return!
