Arrived on a Monday in the late afternoon after riding from Toulouse along the Canal du MIDI.
The Hotel-restaurant is outside of Castelnaudry and is located in a more industrial/commercial area. However it appears popular with locals as the restaurant was booked out even though we were booked into the Hotel for the night. If you are looking for a restaurant for dinner the restaurant at the hotel looked very nice, and, there is only one other restaurant nearby. Unfortunately this restaurant was not open on Monday as were other restaurants in the town recommended by the hotel. You should note that it is a 25 minute walk to the town and no taxis were available.
The Hotel itself is very nice, with helpful staff and good sized rooms with separate bathrooms. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet is varied with pastries, meats, eggs and bread. Fruit juices, coffee and teas are also provided.
You can sit on the terrace near the swimming pool for a very pleasant start to your day.

Good morning, Thank you for your praise for our hotel and the breakfast buffet. The artisanal zone has many advantages such as calm, local shops for your supplies during your stroll along the Canal du Midi. Concerning the restaurant, in the confirmation email, it is clearly indicated that "In order to guarantee you availability at the restaurant, we recommend that you reserve your table in advance" Looking forward to seeing you again in our establishment.

What a superb hotel. On the outskirts of Castelnaudary this hotel has a pool, a bar and restaurant with superb food and the most excellent staff. Family run, we arrived having walked from the station (stupid idea) and were helped to cool down with iced water and a rest in reception. Shown to our rooms which were limited in space but clean and modern. Bathrooms were up to date with good showers and very clean. Tea/coffee facilities were provided. We did use the pool, but didn't realise until too late that you can hire a pool towel for the purpose. We used our bathroom towels and then could have done with another later. The bar was open and the food in the restaurant was lovely. Check out the Hens au Canard, could have done with a couple of those for my main and I would have been satisfied. The hotel organised our taxi requirements for the following day which entailed going into town then coming back to the supermarket to do our shop for our canal trip then to the hotel to pick up luggage. Nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay. Thankyou

The hotel was a convenient nightstop on our way to Spain. First impressions were of a typical 3 star hotel but it has apparently been recently refurbished and the room amenities were good with a large comfortable bed, kettle, fridge, coffee maker and wardrobe storage. The shower room was amazing with very good quality fittings and large fluffy towels. We ate in the restaurant which was good quality and value. Negatives were rather too firm pillows, draughty windows (it was very windy) and a completely self-service breakfast with items not restocked. The hotel location is opposite a Leclerc with cheap petrol. Overall a very satisfactory stay.

Without any great expectations from this hotel & restaurant it delivered on all counts. The hotel room was really good. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and the rooms here delivered. The pool was great too. The restaurant also served up delicious food and wine. 3 course meal for 30 Euros. I can see why it ranks well in TA.

Newly renovated well equipped rooms. Great pool very welcome after a long day on the bicycle.
Helpful staff and garage for the bikes a bonus.

There is a restaurant in the hotel who serves a very good cassoulet.

Highly recommended.

Very friendly and helpful owners and staff who went over and above to help. Very convenient location to visit friends in a nearby village. Willing recommend the Clos Fleuri to friends. Beautiful looking pool but unfortunately wwe were too early in the season to make use of it.

hotel a bit away from the town centre. To the centre you have to walk quite a distance.
Very nice stay, nice pool with jacuzzi, the room was very clean and well equipped.
After our bike tour it was very relaxing to stay there.

External appearance and location of hotel do not really do hotel justice. Good, clean accommodation with pool and nice dining area. Evening meal quite good at a reasonable price. Breakfast ok, maybe a choice of cereals and a fresh fruit salad would be desirable. Overall package perhaps a little expensive. Helpful, English speaking 'receptionist' was a bonus. Staff appeared to cope well with a full hotel as a result of a group booking.

On the edge of town in a commercial area.
Old fashioned with few luxuries. Tiled floor and hard beds. Really needs an update.
Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good and the staff very pleasant. Very simple breakfast.
Have stayed in much better hotels for the money.
