Centrally located hotel close to the sea. Rooms basic and simple in decor but spacious. Good breakfast. The property practically has no parking (few parking spaces) and given the location is a nice problem. Finally, what I really did not like is the fact that there is a safe in the room but it must be activated at the reception with a cost of 2.50 euros per day: something never seen!

We stayed in Santa Catarina Hotel couple of times for our main holiday usually two weeks, never disappointed, rooms always clean so five stars for cleaning service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reception staff always nice and helpful. Short distance to the huge beach so definitely we will vosit Santa Catarina again in 2025 😉 Recommend to all who want to visit Praia da Rocha 100% ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WE LOVE PORTUGAL !!!! 😉

Nice room (3rd floor) with a great sea view (these rooms are on each floor on the right hand side at the end of the corridor when you come out of the elevator!!!). Very clean and well-kept hotel. Food is simple but good, could just be warmer... Breakfast has a bit of everything, although the sausage/cheese is the same every day. Nice and friendly staff. Hotel is at the end of the town center. Everything is within easy walking distance. There are enough restaurants in the area, so “only” B&B is possible. Be sure to rent a car to drive along the coast. There are great spots to see if you stick to Google maps and drive to viewpoints...

Location is perfect for beach and restaurants/bars. Bacon ans proper sausages could be added to breakfast menu. Staff very friendly and helpful. Could do with a slip mat in the bath as it is very slippery and could be dangerous. Views not great

Clean hotel in an excellent location, friendly and always helpful staff, dated rooms with terrible beds and pillows. In the bathrooms the extraction fan does not work, transparent towels. Breakfast nothing noteworthy

The hotel is well located. The room is large but you have to think that it is a 3 star hotel. It has a TV and a refrigerator. There is free parking for some cars. Basic breakfast. Everything very clean and the staff very friendly. The photos are not as they appear but I imagine it depends on the room you pay for. We had to go down and up stairs.

I have stayed in the Hotel Santa Caterina twice in two years. Each time I used it primarily to sleep in, which is a good thing because you would'nt want to stay there any longer than was absolutely necessary. The tiny rooms I booked which were, to be fair, cheap as chips, both had leaks in the vicinity of the toilet bowl, Ugh. No tea/coffee making gear. No slipmat in the bath. Shampoo/shower bottles not replenished. View of a wall 6 ft outside my window. Breakfast was ok. I checked the prices for December and they are horrendous. Only plus is location.

Hotel is located in a very good area. Just accross the street from the beach -which is in my opinion definitely one of the best and biggest in Algarve ! Liked - 1) Location - right on the main road ,however not too noisy at night ! if you close the window and put aircondition on you cant hear anything at all ! 2) Staff- extremelly helpful and friendly -5 star hotel treatment!. They really did a lot for us and were always happy to help especially Andrea Manuel - very pleasant and really helpful girl. 3)breakfast- not a big choice hovewer have everything you need - fresh fruits, cereals, ham, cheese, different type of breads, English type breakfast -for those you cant go anywhere without them ! 4) good views- amazing view to Atlantic Ocean ! I would recommend you book a room with sea view! 5) Room - simple but had everything what you need . Some people were complaining about hard beds- well I cant say I found beds hard at all ! Dislike- no Wi-Fi internet. However there is access to the computer in the reception area.

well we were very pleasantly surprized and only having 3 nights, left wishing it had been more, buffet breakfast very good and lovely views of the beach and the atlantic, would recommend to anyone, the service was exceptional, the rooms were spotless the position was ideal

Hotel and rooms are immaculate, great buffet style breakfast with excellent choice. Outstanding value - located right on strip across from beach. Stayed a few times, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. If you are looking for a good value hotel with great location I thoroughly recommend. Hotel doesn't have a pool, this personally doesnt bother me as I prefer the beach anyway.

They have ‘hot food options’ such as baked beans, sausages, chorizo and scrambled egg. They also have cereals, yogurts, fruit (not fresh), bread with cheese or ham. Coffees are available from machine. Unfortunately I would say that the food is not the highest quality but still ok.
I don’t remember seeing an outdoor seating area, only inside.
There are more places to choose from in the Praia da Rocha area.
