Nestled close to the coast, Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa has garnered acclaim for its exceptional cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere, with guests consistently impressed by the immaculate rooms and grounds. While the staff's friendliness and efficiency receive high praise, a few lapses in service have been mentioned.
The resort's lavish amenities and luxurious spa are celebrated, though some reviewers consider the on-site offerings pricey. The spacious, well-appointed rooms boast beautiful views, but suggestions for improved ventilation and updates have been noted.

Detailed Reviews
What a joy to stay at Vila Vita. The facilities are certainly first class and the team offer very good 5 star service. We really enjoyed the range of restaurants all of which offer excellent quality food and service. Breakfast in the sea view restaurant was perfect.
The beach is picture perfect with a friendly team to provide towels. Beds were always available and although some people felt the need to reserve beds early we didn’t bother.
House keeping is very good, we found our room to be very clean. Plenty of hand sanitizer available and restaurant tables well spaced for those concerned about Covid.
Bar staff are fun and friendly and the live music of a very good standard. Drinks are expensive but they are made with love.
Our only complaint is there are no water fountains. You either buy expensive bottled water all day or bring a beaker and drink tap water.
Ladies should be aware that most of the paths on the resort are cobbled and high hills can be a challenge! However staff will pick you up in a golf buggy and drive you to a restaurant in the evening.
We look forward to returning again.

Myself and my wife spent 5 nights here in October. The weather was glorious which resulted in a very enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is very nice, showing its age a little but the rooms are still very fresh. This is certainly the best hotel we have stayed in on the Algarve but in my view the service was not that of a 5 star hotel on many occasions. Breakfast was not one of those occasions however as it was always superb. The single specific irritation in relation to our stay was the inability of the front desk to permit a late check out. I had requested an additional hour, check out time of 1pm instead of 12pm which was flatly refused on the basis that our room had guests booked into it on the night of our check out. Check in is 3pm so there was some room for maneuver, we were not even offered 30 minutes as a compromise. I fully understand this is within the hotels discretion and I do not expect anything I am not entitled to however having stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every meal in those 5 nights in the resort I would have expected some effort by the front desk. not only this but following my request the phone calls starting coming to the room at 11.45am to ensure we were ready to depart on time under the guise of do I need assistance with my luggage. That petty behavior always rubs me the wrong way and I don't believe it is common in true 5 star resorts, not the ones I am accustomed to anyway.

We feel truly privileged to have found this resort. From the kindness of all staff throughout our ten-day stay, to the lush grounds with their fountains, small lakes with ducks and various trees and shrubs, lovely garden view room, great variety of dining options and beautiful location, we had an exciting and relaxing time. We enjoyed the scenic cliff walks, lined by wildflowers, exotic plants and secret beaches on little coves directly beside the grounds, the peaceful alcoves beside the pool and the sunbathing lawn with its fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean. The room was very large, bright and comfortable with a furnished terrace, cosy sofas and an armchair, good bed, dining table, large bathroom with two sinks, television with many channels in English, French and other languages and well-stocked minibar. Fresh fruit, coffee and water were replaced every day and the lovely housekeeping staff visited morning and evening, doing an impeccable job. Dining was a pleasure and we tried the Japanese, Portuguese, French and international restaurants. For light food during the day there are pretty coffee and snack establishments on the lawn and in the grounds. Try the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee with the best pastel de nata I have ever tasted. And if you decide to eat outdoors in the sunshine, the resort’s resident Harris Hawk will chase any intrusive seagulls away! The shops within the resort sell several exclusive products and there is also a kiosk with newspapers and magazines, souvenirs, postcards, stamps and sweets. There is no need to leave this fabulous place unless you wish to visit the Fort of Nossa Senhora de Rocha with its interesting chapel, within a short walking distance. I believe two of the resort’s restaurants are situated outside with a free shuttle, one on a neighbouring beach and the other in Porches. There is also a full bar in the main reception area. We were happy to dine in Adega (chourizo flambé), Mizo (hot sake and a tofu dish with moving bonito flakes), Aladin Grill (best Crêpes Suzettes in the country) and Bela Vita (ooh La La chocolate dessert). Just a small example of the eclectic range of dishes on offer. We also availed of room service for dinner and for breakfast at a reasonable supplement. The resort has its own beach just beneath the sunbathing lawn and another, larger beach club concession nearby with a free shuttle. Parasols and loungers on the beaches are provided in season but are always available on the lawn and at the pools. Highly recommended.

We are currently staying in an apartment very close to the Vila Vita Parc Resort. So not to break the travel restrictions and stay in our district we booked for Christmas lunch at the Vila Vita Parc.
We were given a menu on the pre-payment we made early November 2020 and we were so looking forward to our “fine dining”experience.
On arrival to the hotel we were driven down by golf buggy to the Atlantico Restaurant. On entering the restaurant we saw people sitting at tables without tablecloths, decorations or the obvious crackers. In fact a table of six close to us bought their own crackers. The music was provided by a DJ playing noisy booming rock music (one would have hoped for at least some light seasonal & appropriate music/songs) The management had previously mentioned the dress code was elegant. Hardly any of the patrons had taken notice and some were wearing shorts, jeans & even track suit trousers. Thankfully the sunshine and the view of the ocean helped ease our initial disappointment. However, on being advised the format was a buffet and we could chose food from the various restaurants we felt extremely upset. Our hope of fine dining was killed by the serving of raw turkey, cold vegetables and plated by a chef who had very little knowledge of presentation. Yes we complained and yes three managers apologized. Even the serving of cheese was done with little care! Each choice was literally ‘plonked’ on the plate using the same knife for each serving!! We had no where to go as there was no alternative venue due to COVID restrictions! Even though the management offered to pay for our wine and aperitif it didn’t go far enough to make our day a pleasurable experience. Other than the waiter pouring our wine the service level was abysmal. The Management and share holders of this establishment should take a good look at the service values. Hospitality being the worse hit during this awful pandemic should go the extra mile to ensure the best they can offer. Sadly Vila Vita will not be a venue of choice in the future!! Be careful when making a reservation ......you are not getting 5 star service but paying top end prices. Sadly on top of all the misery of 2020, what should have been a joyful experience was a disaster

This was our second visit to Vila Vita Parc and the resort does not disappoint. In fact, it was one of the best family holidays despite Covid. The resort took many measures to make sure the guests and staff are safe and relaxed. From the moment you arrive at reception, you are made to feel safe, welcomed and well looked after.
We were given little welcome kits with masks and hand sanitisers. All the staff wore masks (some clear and some cloth). The resort has very clear procedures on keeping everyone safe during Covid times. The hotel was at 50% capacity and all meals were socially distanced. However, it did not take away from our enjoyment at all. We stayed for 10 days and ate every single meal at the resort's 10 restaurants. Our favourites were Mizu, Adega, Praia Dourado and Ocean. We did not have a single bad meal.
Our children loved the Kids' Club and did many activities such as mini golf, football, t-shirt painting and badminton. The Kids' Club has an extensive menu on offer for the children.
Roberto at Customer Service took very good care of us by pre-arranging all dinners and cooking activities for the children and us. Vagner, the Chef from Adega gave us a Master Class in seafood cataplana which was delicious.
We are eager to go back. It is a wonderful place for families, couples and groups. There is a lot to do or you can just relax by the pool, beach or balcony and read a book.

We stayed for two nights during this COVID time. The rooms are spacious, clean, cosy with attention to details. The hotel lobby was already decorated for Christmas, which gave us a very warm feeling. The in- and outdoor pool was heated. The small shops within the resort are perfect for gifts.
If you want to to hiking along the coastline, you can start from here, don't need your car.
The staff working at the hotel is very professional. Starting from the cleaning, up to the middle management. Even during breakfast, you do not feel the pressure due to restrictions (wearing face-mask when walking to the buffet etc. etc.). Perfect dishes are served to your table. Egg Benedict - my favourite. The manager arranged extra portions of Pasteis de Nata, just from hearing that I love that.
The high efforts they spend on hygiene appear effortless. That was also a big difference to the hotels we spend the nights before.
We do not know how this resort performs during peak season, but we want to come back.

This marvellous resort in the Algarve region of Portugal has it all; a staggering range of accommodations, 10 restaurants and six bars, a wine cellar – stocked with more than 11,000 bottles, 54 acres of subtropical gardens, a 20 meter long private yacht, a dedicated kids park, special family packages, its own golf course and the list goes on and on. Although it is huge, it is so well laid out and it never feels crowded. The perfect place for total relaxation. Or get yourself ready for an adrenaline pumping activity. The Annabella’s Kids park is there for younger kids, just as the Vital Teen Welness Programme is for 11yr olds and up. See our website for an extensive review.

We stayed 7 nights in Vila Vita, it was amazing!
Would go back in a heartbeat, great location, 40 minutes drive from Faro airport , we got a taxi transfer, although the hotel can supply one, 125 euros each way).
The staff were exceptionally friendly (special mention to Samuel & Singh) and made our holiday special, they were a credit to the company.
We stayed in a roof top villa, room 50 with a rooftop balcony overlooking the sea, with a very Long Beach a short walk from the hotel.
The food was excellent, from breakfast in the Atlantic restaurant, (no kids allowed) overlooking the sea (wow, just wow) omelette or pancakes made to order, the fruit was the best I’ve ever eaten, so fresh.
If you have got kids you can eat breakfast in the main part of the hotel, so don’t let that put you off.
Evening meals in the main part of the hotel were excellent, no need to go offsite to eat.
Villa Vita employs over 600 staff, more staff than guests I think, the grounds are exceptionally well kept.
Swimming pools indoors and outdoors , that also had a bar serving drinks, ice creams and food (snacks).
There’s also a gym onsite which myself and my wife used each day.
This was the ultimate unwind holiday, 2 hours 20 mins EasyJet flight from London Gatwick, to Faro, my wife who hates flying and hadn’t flown in 14 years, read a book about flying, sat at the front and she absolutely loved it.
I’ll finish by saying, a big thank you to the staff and management at Villa Vita, this is the best and much needed holiday we have ever had, and would love to return one day.

We have just come back from 5 nights at the resort. There are many good areas but a lot of major things to be fixed.
On the positive front, the resort grounds are lovely and the range of activities such as golf, putt putt, tennis and playground are great. The gym and spa area are impressive with an ice room and good pool area.
Service was mixed. In some areas it was perfect and then others was really poor.
Breakfast was a bit of a zoo but it actually seemed to work ok with a good selection of food.
On the negatives, unfortunately there was quite a lot.
Noise! Every night, loud music would boom across the resort until 11.30pm. You could also hear people in the room above + people taking outside. I expect good sleep quality at a hotel and judge it accordingly. The Vila Vita Parc fails miserably in this area.
Restaurant bookings. We arrive and are subsequently informed that the 4 restaurants we want to go to are all booked out. We were rudely told that 'it's the Algarve in summer, of course they are busy'. That would be fine had the hotel bothered to email us pre arrival and suggested booking early before we arrive. Very disappointing.
Room. Was pretty dated, small bathroom and very uninspiring. We stayed in an Oasis Family Suite. Had an outside area, full of weeks and hadn't been mowed in weeks. Really weird considering the grounds across the rest of the property were perfect.
Beach was unusable. Rough water (even though the weather was perfect) and full of seaweed. Looked nothing like the pictures.
When the hotel does do something well, like the golf course, they subsequently create a disappointing outcome by charging 40 euro for my 10 year old son and I to hire 2 clubs each for half an hour. Same with mini golf. Great course but then no clubs for adults.
Finally, don't expect 5 star service. No iron/board in the room, we asked for an iron and were told we could only use it for 1 hour. Housekeeping then took it out of our room but left it outside for 2 days! We were given 2 towels for 4 people, there was no coffee capsules, we asked for more but were told housekeeping don't start until 9am (and no one else could be bothered to get them for us).

Naming the hotel a parc is very appropriate there are numerous buildings housing the rooms and the many restaurants around very large beautifully landscaped grounds. There are 12 different places to eat as part of the hotel from a 2 rosette michelin restaurant to informal bars. We only stayed 8 nights and ate in a different restaurant every night! There are ample sunbathing beds spread throughout the grounds but the beach is quite small with restricted number of beds and (we stayed in May) the beach bar wasn't open. Also there was a strong breeze on several days and when the sea was slightly rough it brought in a lot of red seaweed to the water on the beach, as it was was May the sea water was mind bendingly cold not very inviting, however the infinity swimming pool was lovely. Rooms are large and comfortable and the maid service excellent only a couple of issues the mini bar wasn't replenished we had to contact reception to get this done and we like a bath, the 'bathroom' was very large 2 hand basins and bidet but no bath only a shower! Would recommend rooms in 'The Residence' block these are apparently adults only but are nearer the sea and the main restaurants. For restaurants would recommend the Japanese, The Ocean (michelin starred prices to match) and The Atlantic, Aladin was slightly disappointing. A minor complaint is the waiters were slow to bring the wine list when dining be careful to ask for it as soon as you sit down otherwise you risk not getting your wine before the food arrives.

No...its all nice and casual although it depends what you mean 'dressed up'!
there are two breakfast areas and depending where your room is located you would generally use that one - we used the one located in the grounds which is not in the hotel building and had the best breakfast choice..really fresh, huge choice, lovely staff - need to check with hotel regarding half board option
