I love a rustic environment and Mystras Inn is beautiful. The stone construction takes you back to medieval times. Large room with nice bathroom. The owner is very kind and the adjacent restaurant belonging to the same facility has great food and is very cozy. Excellent location close to the archaeological site.
Had a large room with lovely modern bathroom in a new separate addition to the main hotel. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, of toast, jams, freshly squeezed orange juice, and Greek yogurt with fresh fruit. Our evening meal was disappointing. Large
Mystras Inn is a perfect place to stay if you are going to visit the world class Archaeological Site 1.2 kilometres further up the road. The rooms are comfy and clean - very basic, though - and the bathrooms are huge and luxurious. The wifi works, but is the fastest in the world. Free parking on site. Breakfast is less than fantastic. Coffee is plain Nescafé, juice is freshly squeezed, you’ll have to choose between yoghurt and fried eggs, bacon is a joke, the bread is Yesterday’s leftovers which has been toasted.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was spacious with a nice modern shower and air conditioning. The location was convenient and beautiful, right in the center of town. The breakfast was the best we’ve had! Fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs, yogurt and fruit ( served at the restaurant downstairs)
A nice hotel at a convenient location. We stayed in one of the buildings a block off of the plaza. It was quiet. The room had two queen size beds, but a smaller than expected bathroom. Everything worked well, except for the WiFi, which was always sporadic and marginal, despite having a number of access points. The restaurant was OK, but not significantly different than other places.
Mystras Inn worked perfectly for us. Clean, well located, run by a friendly family. Perfectly located in the center of Mystras and 15 minute walk from the entrance to the UNESCO Mystras site. A choice of modest restaurants and cafes are within a few meters.
A real charming place. It is very well decorated rooms. Almost all rooms have excellent view. Very good service. It is located in the very center of the town. It has an attached restaurant which is very convinient. The host is very kind and nice. Price is very good.
We visit the place on August. The hotel is in totaly very good and is worthy to visit it. Very good room, Very good cleaning, Best place in village Very good and kind people ready to help for every thing you need Very good breakfast with variety Value for money
Mystras inn is on the central square of the village Mystras. It is very close to the ghost city of Mystras and also close to the city of Sparta. To Sparta is 10 minutes by car over an easy road (without hair pin bends or such) in it. The owner of Mystras inn drove us up to the mountain of the old Mystras. We only had to walk down! Very kind! Breakfast is very good (fresh orange juice and coffee or tea and bread, butter, marmelades and fried eggs or yoghurt). Our room was rather new, with a good bathroom. And a very strong airco (which was needed because of a heat wave). There are no cabinets (yet?). We liked everything. Only be careful if you’re going to visit the Artemis temple near Sparta. A lot of people got mugged there and we escaped by luck. Read the reviews on Google. Maybe you better first go to to Menelaion, the (supposed) grave of Menelaos and Helena.…
Central location in Mystras. Very friendly staff and nice rooms with plenty of space and a nice shower! Rooms were detached from restaurant - not an issue with dry weather, but could become a problem if raining.
