We enjoyed our stay overall, and the price was reasonable. The guesthouse is located up a windy road a short drive from the town of Mystras. The view from our balcony was incredible! Our room was basic, but clean and comfortable. A nice breakfast was brought to our room in a basket. The guesthouse is a charming stone structure. The pool looked like it needed cleaning however.

The Mazaraki Guesthouse was our first stop of our summer holiday trip through Peloponnese and we are really glad we started off with such a great stay! The staff was lovely, the breakfast really tasty and was brought up to the room and the room itself was really cozy! They even contacted us immediately as soon as they found something we forgot at the room and sent it to our next location! thanks again! The area is lovely with a few restaurants and archeological sites as well (we advice to rent car to move around).

This guest house enjoys a spectacular location high above the plain where the modern city of Sparta now sits. Just to your right, if sitting out at the front, you’ll also see the fortress that sits on top of a high rock above the ruins of Mystras. It’s an excellent choice if you intend to visit these two famous locations in Greek and Byzantine history. The guest house has a small pool and is served by friendly staff. One tip about getting there from Kalamata. Many years ago we used the old road – it has now been superseded by a motorway which takes you north and then back down in the direction of Sparta. Although this looks like a long way round it’s probably the faster and easier route to take.

We had a great stay with our family. The rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is nice, very convenient to visit Mystras, but also the mountains, Monemvista etc. Nice views from the terrace and 3 nice restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed it very much ! Also the wine bar and terrace in the evening.

Nice, comfortable rooms. However the area is not the nicest we saw throughout our visit. The forest is uninteresting and so are the villages around it. Maybe the only advantage is to be relatively close to the castle and monastery. At the guesthouse, service was rather rushed and rooms and not soundproof. Could hear lots of cats through the night as well as other guests in adjacent room. Breakfast seemed ordered at leT in part to the (poor) restaurant next to the house. Not fantastic.

This guest house was beautiful inside and out. Our room was stunning. The grounds are breathtaking. They have a wine bar and a gorgeous seating area that overlooks the town of Mystra. The breakfast is fabulous. It comes in a basket that they deliver to your room. We so enjoyed all of delicious fare. The bed was comfortable, the shower water pressure was lovely and the bath products luxurious. The owner delivered a truly lovely stay. I recommend it highly.

We stayed here on recommendation of my brother & we were not disappointed. A really professional service but with a personal touch, from the individually designed bedrooms (we were in the Scooter Room) to the wonderful terrace where you could enjoy an evening drink looking over the Fortress at Mystra & the plain of Sparti. A delicious breakfast is served in your room. Very friendly & helpful service.

We only booked for one night to see the Mystra site located nearby but this I should a great place to chill out for more time as it has a lovely little salt water pool and the views are fantastic. Staff are wonderful and so friendly and the rooms and central area are really nicely decorated. Very quiet location and comfy bed. It's pretty convenient for Kalamata airport and the drive from there over the mountains is spectacular with decent road conditions. Nice tavernas nearby to have supper and breakfast was served at our room due to Covid and very nice choice on menu. Highly recommended .

This tasteful designed guesthouse is conveniently located near the archeological sites of Mystras and consists of some different buildings with the rooms and suites. There is a small pool and sunbeds to relax, as well as a area with astonishing views of the Sparta valley, where you can enjoy an afternoon drink and snacks from the guesthouse’ bar. The staff is very helpful and enthusiastic. Breakfast is served in your room based on you preferences provided the day before. A couple of nice restaurants are on walking distance away to make the evening complete.

Very pleasant boutique hotel. Very nice staff, that always take care of your needs. One of the most lovely views of Mystras ruins, Sparta and Laconia plateau. I recommend to taste one of the several options of the wine list, while sharing a glass with nice people and a fantastic view.
