If we come back to Italy, it will be to stay with Adriana and her family again at their B&B. Everything about our experience was fantastic! The rooms were lovely and had great AC, the views are just incredible, and the food... We had homecooked multi-course dinners for several nights of our stay, and delicious homecooked breakfasts each morning. The food was some of the best we had on our trip. They even did a cooking class with us before one of the dinners so we could learn to make pasta. Adriana was a wonderful host and translated dinner conversation between the different groups staying (she speaks wonderful English). We truly felt apart of the family for the four nights we were there. Thank you for everything!

This quaint B&B ticks all the boxes: thanks to its location it has most beautiful views over the valley and the Trentova bay, yet only 5 minutes drive from the center of the charming Agropoli. The rooms are very comfortable and the terrace offers great outdoor space where you can relax with a glass of Fiano. On top of this the Baia di Trentova team is top notch not only in terms of the hospitality, service, culinary talents but also passion for Pink Floyd music. Try one of their delicious dinners and you will not want to leave again! This place has great energy. During the day there are lots of things you can occupy yourself with, visiting a mozzarella farm, wine testing, exploring old town of Agropoli, visiting the Greek temples in Paesum or just doing absolutely nothing in Italian style (dolce far niente) This is why Baia di Trentova has so many returning guests. We stayed 4 nights and never a dull moment! We will be back.

Everything has already been said and I also gave the rating Excellent. But because of the outstanding hospitality, the thoughtful attention to detail and the more than excellent food, Baia dit Trentova really deserves an Excellent Plus.

We were 2 couples touring Puglia, Basilcata & Campania. Our stay of 3 nights at Baia di Trentova was just like coming home. Adriana prepared a scrumptious meal for us our 1st night which was more than welcome after a long drive from hill towns to the east. The upstairs rooms with terrace views, helpful advice & delicious breakfasts completed our delightful stay. I would absolutely return for another stay on our next trip to Campania.

We stayed here for 5 nights along with my wife's cousins from Holland who had been here several times in the past. I always do alot of research when traveling abroad but since our Dutch cousins had been, I trusted them with the choice. I did look at the website for Baia and it really looked wonderful.
Upon arrival I was absolutely amazed at the position of the property up on the hill with breathtaking views of the bay and the valley. The property was gorgeous and very well maintained with very pretty flowers everywhere and comfortable outdoor furniture for sitting and relaxing.
The room was big and very clean and made up everyday with fresh towels. To wake up every morning and walk right outside of our door to the spectacular view was a real treat and one image that I will not forget. The breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. And dinner was fabulous starting with a pasta dish and then small samples of many different things almost like a tasting menu and wine lots of well stocked wines.
I'm still on vacation and have to go now but will add more tomorrow.

This B&B experience was incredible. Adriana and Oreste (owners) welcome you like a long lost family member immediately. Our room overlooked the sea. Breakfast was course after course, all homemade and delicious. They not only recommend things to do and see, they set it all up for you. We went to a wine tasting that was one of the best we have ever been to. We did the mozzarella di buffala tour and had some incredible fresh cheeses. All in all, this B&B and Adriana and Oreste (and 2 beautiful children) make you feel so special. Definitely a must do!

I had a coffee in the garden at b & b Baia di Trentova while an American couple just arrived. “Welcome to paradise” I said, in the moment they stepped in to the outdoor space where you can enjoy the most amazing view of the beach and the green hills around. I keep going back to this place, not being able to leave for more than a few months. So I was back once again enjoying the most wonderful dishes in Cilento style made by Oreste and his mother, Adriana’s delicious cakes, great hospitality and care, high quality rooms and service and the other family members who make b & b Baia di Trentiva so special. Even their guests are very nice, like these two Americans. The morning they packed the car and took off for other destinations in Cilento, they left with these words: “When we arrived, you welcomed us to “paradise”. And it really IS a paradise, and we do not want to leave.” They did what I always do, booked for next time. This is b & b Baia di Trentova, simply the best.
This time I went for some days to the interior of the Cilento national park and had a wonderful walk up to the Mont Gelbison. You start in Nuovo Velia and it takes about three hours to get there. On the top there is an old and very interesting monastery which unfortunately were closed in October. But what a view!

4 years ago my husband had a heart attack while we were staying at Baia di Trentova which of course was very stressful and he ended up in hospital. The assistance, care and support we received from Oreste and Adriana was beyond any expectation and touched our lives in an unbelievable way.

We will always remember this amazing family and decided to return recently to renew our friendships and visit local surroundings which we were unable to do on our previous visit. Once again from the very beginning of our stay we were welcomed vey warmly and it was so good to see Oreste's smiling face at the Railway station and Adriana waiting to welcome us to their special "home" once again.

It was so good to renew our acquaintance with little Alissa who was a baby last time we were there and also to meet up again with "Mum and Dad" - Oreste's parents. We loved the Cooking Class which was a great experience for us and enjoyed the wonderful food prepared freshly for us daily.

This place is truly like a dream come true and we cannot emphasise enough the wonderful hospitality and friendship given to us by this hard working and caring family.

An experience we will never forget which will remain as a wonderful memory for us for many years to come.

My partner Jonathan and I stayed here for 6 nights in June 2012. It is in a lovely location. Adriana made us very welcome, and also helped with suggestions on what to do. Our room was clean, and the verandah had a lovely view. Although it is only about a mile from Agropoli it is up a steep hill. Jonathan and I did walk into and back from Agroploi several times. However Oreste was very good and gave us a lift in and picked us up as well. He was more than happy to do this. The breakfast is brilliant, and is served until 11.30, which for us late risers was great. Agropoli is a nice town, and has a lovely old part to walk around. It is also easy to get to from Naples airport. We got the train from Naples central and it took about one and a half hours on a local train.

My husband and I spent 3 nights of a 9 night trip to Italy at the Baia di Trentova B&B. I think we both wish the whole trip had been spent there! Our hosts were so hospitable and helpful; Adriana and Oreste made us feel at home immediately. Our room looked out on a scene of mountains and vineyards more beautiful than we ever expected. The room itself was beautifully decorated, light, airy and generous. And I saved the food description for last, because it was spectacular. Arrive at the Baia di Trentova hungry, and you will depart very satisfied (and will immediately have to go on a diet or long walk to compensate).

I should add that the people are lovely as is the location and the food. But be careful using the GPS route, ask BdT for directions instead as GPS recognises a road that is blocked off!
