We just spent 3 nights here and it was already our second visit to the Alpen Adria hotel - we will definitely return for another visit. The entire hotel is beautifully kept and everything is set up to ensure guests are happy and comfortable. The area around the hotel is stunning and it is only a 4h drive from Vienna. The food is amazing. We had a few spa treatments as well which were excellent. Above all, however, the staff members are wonderful. Everybody is polite and friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome and at home as soon as you arrive. There is nothing even remotely negative about this hotel and I cannot wait to visit again.

Very nice hotel, perfect for families. The room was reasonable and clean.
The positives were:

- nice pool and spa area with indoor and outdoor pools (a warm one in winter)
- big and well equipped kids room with a climbing wall: great for the kids
- large restaurant with friendly staff and good food (it varied, some days it was very delicious others less)
- small and cozy bar, quiet place with woody furniture, perfect for a relaxed drink
- ski area in 20 min by car
- good evening program every night: singers, magicians, etc.
- prices were very reasonable for the quality provided

The negatives:

- the Spa was open from 2pm to 8.30pm only: in winter I'd expect it late in the night, e.g. till 11 pm.
- some days the room was not thoroughly cleaned, e.g. no check of lack of soap and other material
- the parking slot very full, difficult to find a slot. Some guests had a reserved under roof spot, not clear how they were selected for that...
- some of the kids events were always late, e.g. the magician, the cinema all started well after the announced time
- the kids menu wasn't very healthy and lacked variety. I'd prefer if the kids were getting the same as the parents, but smaller portions

Overall it's a very nice hotel, personnel and surrounding. I'd only recommend it.

The staff is kind and the wellness centre is not bad but it's too expensive for such a poor service. Not flexible times for meals. Dinners are Austrian style (tables laid with paper napkins!). Waitresses do not speak a word of English.

If you are looking for nice quiet hotel, with excellent spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and majestic ski center in its vicinity, (15 min by car) this is a place. Very large rooms, pleasant stuff, remarkable hygiene, fantastic cousin with a good vine choice. All this for a very reasonable price!

We spent four days during winter vacation.

ROOM: Room was modern - very nice, clean, ...very nice bathroom.

FOOD: .Breakfest was very good, evening meals also ( but portion was to small for me - I was pregnant) :)

LOCATION: Nassfeld cca. 15 min (ski bus)

SPA: good pools, good sauna and relax area.

I recommend!

We spent three days there in October. The room was o.k., clean, personal kind, good communication. Breakfast was good, but evening meals were excellent. But the promised apple basket at the indoor pool was mostly empty. The indoor pool was a little bit cold for me, surely not so warm as declared. We spent some time in the outer pool, which is a little more warm. There is not much to do or go in the place in October, the cable car in Nassfeld is not going any more, the entertaining park is also closed. They have a good parking place.
