Beautiful, clean hotel, with amazing/cozy design with great views, Xilitla town and hills can be admired, surrounded by nature. Staff is helpful, friendly. The restaurant offers tasty, clean and vegetarian options food, specially the corn cake was great.

Nice close to nature experience.

We arrive late and were welcomed by Herculiano (night guard) vey friendly and interesting old man, who has a lot of experiences living on Xilitla/Huasteca Potosina. If you have more time in your agenda, you should try to set a trip with him to visit the surroundings, sound very interesting.

We were there for the nest experience, they give you a lamp and extra blankets if you need it. The nest is very small, inside is just a round mattress, aprox, two meters diameter, you only have the mattress, pillows, blanket and the space to hang the lamp. It is really all you need, we loved the experience, the noises in the night, the rain over the nest. We slept comfortable and with no mosquitoes. Outside the nest there is a plastic box in which you may put all your belongings. They also give you a lock in case you need to feel more secure within the nest, you do not need to have a lock.

Near the dining room, there is an open spot to sit and wait for sunrise, the spot is very unique, you can view all the Huasteca Potosina and the sun in front of you. Ask at with time is the sunrise, so you wake up on time. For us the show was at 7:00am.

Food from their restaurant is very good. People is very serviceable. You can have breakfast with a very nice view.

This place is good for the experience, you have a good rest and that's it, there is not too much to do. Just sit on the restaurant, and observe the landscaping while having a coffee. They have also some "hamacas" hammocks if you want to rest more.

This hotel is about 10-15 minutes from Xilitla.

Very interesting concept of nest for rooms. You have to try it at least one nigth, al though very cute not very comfortable. They have cabins and a den! Like a hobit hole. We stayed at the nest and next time will be trying the den or the cabin. The nest was an interesting thing to try but if you are tall person is to cramp.
The views are amazing and the place is very close to nature like camping very close to the town

We visited the hotel because you supposedly have hanging rooms, they call them nests. We made a reservation for a nest, and we imagined that they were hanging. According to the press they have received, they are advertised as hanging in a nest like a bird. When we arrived, they showed us our nest; it was in close proximity to a village road and one could see a few buildings. The other nests are a bit further away but it should be noted the hotel is in a small town and is not isolated. We immediately noted the nest was not hanging from cable but was rather attached to the platform.. The young lady then explained that of the six nests only 2 are hanging. She commented that we should have asked for a hanging room. I would suggest that they provide that information when you call. The young lady was very sweet and offered to phone other nearby hotels. We decided to leave and stayed in a nearby posada. We really could not justify the price when the room was so small and not hanging. At the hotel we did stay they commented that they thought Tapasoli was very expensive. It might be worth the experience but both of the hanging rooms were already occupied.

We tried dinner later that evening and it was quite good.

With a little work and an updated accurate website, the place could be vastly improved.

Beautiful place to disconnect and connect with nature. They have different options for your room: a burrow, a nest, or a mushroom. You can decide at the moment to reserve your room. We chose a burrow in front of the lake.

The attraction was supposed to be the tour in the place and with the new administration they removed it, besides prohibiting the entrance to the restaurant saying that if you did not consume you could not go in (which they did not say in the best way either).

The idea of the hotel is incredible and they fulfill the aesthetics of the place, it is only worth it if you stay in the rooms with access to the lake, (at least before the remodeling)
Everything is very nice in that area, the bed is super comfortable although the interior design doesn't have much to do with what's outside.
The service is good-regular, the restaurant, although the food is good, we feel that it is out of place and they should offer more local products; somewhat excessive prices on food and drinks.
The only thing we really hate is that the biologist is INFESTED with tadpoles and frogs, when I say infested it is really full of frogs, I don't think they should let people in if the idea is that so many frogs live there, and if yes, well there are to improve the cleanliness of that pool/bio tank.

My recommendation is to stay 1 night for the photos and that's it, and only if you stay next to the lake.

VERY EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT REALLY IS... NOT WORTH WHAT YOU PAY (5 THOUSAND PESOS PER NIGHT)

THE BAD:
For what they charge, the included breakfast is a joke, egg or egg and there is no more... and only a small portion.

They should have a well or pool with warm water or at least NOT FREEZING; It is impossible to stay inside for more than 5 minutes and it is frustrating for children because it is what they like the most.

The rooms INSIDE should have a better appearance and maintenance, THEY ARE VERY SIMPLE like a hotel for 1,500 pesos a night or less

The WIFI doesn't work well, there are no TVs, you can't go into the pools, if you don't have imagination, you will be very bored.

The restaurant menu is very standard, nothing extraordinary and also expensive for what it is.

THE GOOD:

The service and attitude of the staff in general is very good.

The views, the landscaping and EXTERIOR design of the areas and rooms are very original, to take the photo and that's it.

The good thing is excellent for taking photos, advice they should include the food according to the price they manage
,improve the rooms since it does not have a minibar or television
The bad thing is that there is a lack of room service and that the rooms have a better view and more lighting.

The hotel is very beautiful as seen in the images, it is like something out of an Adas story, the only detail is that there are large spiders in the rooms and I didn't like that. Otherwise, if you are not afraid of spiders you will love it, the food is an 8/10, one night is fine to live the experience.
