On arrival at this beautifully appointed property we were greeted by a lovely hamper of goodies, and drinks in the fridge. The cottage was simply wonderful: spacious; well-equipped and very comfortable. Two bedrooms, one of which was en suite, were located down a hallway off a large living/kitchen/dining area. I don't think there was anything we needed that wasn't there: two bathrooms, separate toilet in a utility room, dishwasher, WiFi and large television. And of course there was the hot tub, situated on a private patio complete with fairy lights and a gas barbecue (which we didn't use but it was available). As guests, we had a card entitling us to 10 per cent off at the Maltings Coffee shop where we enjoyed a stunning afternoon tea. We had a fantastic weekend and would love to come back one day!

Spent 4 nights in The Stables 20th-24th April. Received a lovely welcome from Margaret with a delicious welcome basket of goodies too. The living space is immaculate and beautiful, whilst the bedrooms are spacious with enormous super king beds. Bedroom 2 has a lovely ensuite bathroom, whilst the 1st bedroom you come to, has a wonderful separate bathroom with fab walk in rain shower...so want one of these! There's a great outdoor space which is a real sun trap, which is perfect for the location of the wonderful hot tub- got plenty of use during our stay. We stayed for 3 nights at The Stables. Margaret was the perfect host, and the cottage was delightful! Location is ideal if you are planning to visit the Annandale Distillery. The cottage is also walking distance from Annan centre which has plenty of choices for restaurants. I would 100% stay here again

The two cottages have been renovated to the highest levels possible and everything is provided. We were greeted with drinks, chocolate, bread, milk, juice. The cottage is huge with WiFi, washing machine and everything needed for self catering. The hot tub was hot and so inviting.
This is really luxurious. One room is en-suite, another double/twin plus a bathroom and a further separate WC!

Brilliant. So peaceful and on a clear night there are so many stars. Margaret thought of everything and the welcome basket was so useful. The fridge had milk and drinks too. Friends who visited were most impressed and perhaps a little jealous!

The Distillery cottages were reassuringly immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for self-catering including a wonderful kitchen. Our bed and the bath tub were huge! I think they were built for Annan giants! It was a lovely added bonus to have an outdoor hottub too. There's a beautiful walk from the cottage along the river and into the town of Annan. We enjoyed food and drinks and the Anglers and the Shed and takeaway from the Caspian. Of course we also did a distillery tour as it's right next door to these cottages, and it was brilliant! I should add if you're worried about privacy with the cottages being close to the distillery tourist attraction, don't be, it's really private and peaceful.

What a beautiful peaceful cottage we had for our weeks stay. Beautiful surroundings and a spacious cottage with all you need for a relaxing holiday. Welcome Basket on arrival was appreciated. Clean and tidy with a Hot Tub which was well used by the end of our stay😬Close to Annan Town with nice shops and Good Eateries and a Tesco for shopping all you need is there. Thank You Margaret and Robert for a wonderful stay and WILL take you up on your offer when we return👌
