I got married at Paschoe in August this year and its such a beautiful and special place, the house is incredible, inside and out. Its a beautiful old building, with a modern but still really cosy and elegant interior and has lots of options for your ceremony. I love that they grow their own veg, source produce locally and tabitha, the owner has been great with the wedding side of things. The only reason I haven't given Paschoe a 5 is just because there was alot of unorganised situations surrounding my day, but most of the staff were very new so I'm sure things will be running alot smoother now, it's just my experience a few things were missed. And the cleaners didn't do a great job of the Glasshouse the morning of the wedding which was a real shame. But I did give alot of feedback to tabitha and she took it all on, dealt with it accordingly, updated me and didn't get offended which I love. I really hope this place gets a really amazing events co ordinator soon because it deserves it. Also the food is exceptional, although I did miss Craig's chips now the chefs changed! But still great. Also, the staff are lovely, very kind and helpful so made the weekend very pleasant and I can't wait to visit for my birthday in December.

We couldn't have done better for a restful 4 days. The building was renovated to a high standard as was the condition of our room & bathroom. Decoration & furniture were superb with an eye for detail. Food was outstanding. WiFi, electric curtains & underfloor heating gave a combination of modern technology with old world comforts. The hotel is a little isolated even though in Devon but the views all around are outstanding. This was a good experience. Our expectations were exceeded.

Whilst this hotel is off the beaten track, it is well worth the visit. Very peaceful setting, lovely country house hotel, warm and welcoming staff and a chef that would be at home leading a Michelin staffed kitchen. From the canapés on the terrace, to the softest of soufflés the entire meal was wonderful. I have never eaten such tender roast beef. Nice and thick but could still cut it with a fork or spoon it was that soft. I can’t recommend this restaurant more and at £38 for 3 courses and canapés for the Sunday lunch menu it is extremely good value.

We booked a stay at Paschoe House as part of my husband's birthday treat. It was outstanding in every way, way above our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble, all staff were so lovely. Afternoon tea was excellent we were gluttons and ate the lot, it was so delicious. We then managed to consume the tasting menu later that evening. Every meal was superb, imaginative and of excellent quality. We are foodies and know our wine but after exceptional wine flight pairings with the tasting menu we asked the sommelier to match wines for our meal on the second evening and wees o glad we did. He made outstanding choices for us, choosing wines we probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. Our room was exceptionally spacious as was bathroom without tons of storage as I find it impossible to travel light but pack for every occasion....High quality tea, coffee etc in room and lots of little extras. Some may not like the taxidermy but they have been rescued from a possible worse fate i.e being dumped, far more disrespectful to the poor animal and some are, we believe the preserved result of roadkill. The only place we have ever stayed which came near in every aspect was in Austria. Paschoe House please don't change, your ethos is perfect and we can't wait to return!

We came back here just for one night last Saturday and had a lovely stay. The hotel is really beautiful and set in very nice grounds which are lovely to walk around. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant and bar/lounge in particular are wonderful. It’s really so impressive to have such exquisite dining in a very small hotel. I would rank it as one of the very best restaurants in the area. The dinner menu was interesting, beautiful and delicious, with lots of extras. Breakfast was superb too, with lots of options and brilliant quality produce. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend eating and staying here to anyone, and I hope to be able to go back again soon.
