Fantastic stay in a Tulipano Apartment for our 10 day family holiday. The apartment was well equipped, with a microwave, hob, fridge so we could choose to cook (supplies from campsites supermarket- reasonable price and a good selection) or to go out for lunch and dinner (recommend La Locanda downstairs from apartment, and La Terraze on the campsite for the views of Lake Garda).
Room was cleaned each day and beds made. Beds comfy, air conditioning powerful and breakfast at hotel excellent and varied.
This really was the best of both worlds - the private hotel pool for guests, where you never struggled to get a sun lounger, plus the indoor pool and sauna, but also all the facilities of Camping Bella Italia open to you. We took our own table tennis bats and balls and played each day on the camp tables, plus enjoyed the slides and aqua aerobics in the larger pools. We visited 'Bel Park' every evening - an extra charge for tokens for activities here but the kids loved the bumper cars, bumper boats and table hockey.
The hotel/campsite is so well located for a walk to Peschiera to enjoy shops and restaurants in the town or to catch a ferry to other locations across the lake (highly recommend). There is also a bus stop 100m from the hotel for buses to Verona (about an hour) or to Sirmione and beyond. We hired a bike from campsite to go to Sirmione (about 45 mins). We had a wonderful stay and are so pleased we chose Hotel Bella Italia.

Stayed early July 2024 in an interconnected room for a family of 4. Very handy having 2 bathrooms, showers, balcony’s etc. Pros: The hotel staff are very friendly Hotel is very clean No sunbed wars Relaxed pool area V campsite pool chaos Pool towels are provided Full access to campsite facilities Really close to the lake Breakfast included Beautiful pool view from balcony Masseuse onsite 10/10
Cons Rooms and bathrooms whilst spotless are very outdated, that’s it!
Other extended family members booked a deluxe room and the floor they were on (3rd) was actually like a different hotel it was fabulous! These rooms have new modern bathrooms, showers, beds, floor, wardrobes everything basically was fab and more what I would consider 4 star standard. Hopefully Hotel Bella Italia will refurb the rest of the rooms to bring them up to this standard soon.

Just returned from a fantastic week's stay at the hotel. My wife and our 9 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent at your wonderful hotel, from the pool area where you can monitor the kids from any point to the always cheerful and helpful staff. The fact that there were no sunbed wars was an absolute pleasure, the hotel facilities are only available to hotel guests and the lifeguards on duty do an excellent job monitoring this. You do get the use of the adjoining camp site and it's waterpark which is another added bonus, there are numerous restaurants and bars within the campsite the furthest away being just a 10/15 minute walk and the closest being right next to the hotel itself, access to the lake again is around a 15 minute walk. We ventured to Gardaland Via a taxi ordered from the hotel, and caught the road train from the campsite into peshiera for an afternoon lunch. Breakfast at the hotel was laid back and there was a good selection of pastries, fruit, cereals breads etc, real fruit juices and good coffee another bonus. Our room was on the ground floor Number 7 (Limone) which was ironic as the one other time we visited the lake we stayed in Limone!!! The room was fine, the bathroom, in particular the shower could do with some tlc, but hey ho, you don't go on holiday to sit in your room!!!! Would definitely have no hesitation recommending the hotel to friends/family, a really laid back chilled out experience and will most certainly return in the future.

The hotel staff are great, the hotel is very clean, the hotel breakfast is OK but we left feeling the hotel was just 'alright'. We were given a remote for the TV, no English Channels LOL, shown how to use the air-conditioning as we were quite warm in the room first night but then found out it had been put to heating so came back from a day out to find our room like a sauna. Unfortunately they were shutting down areas for the winter i.e. put the sun loungers away the day before the warmest one of our holiday 20c and clear skies. Yes, we was served at the bar but had to wait for someone to come over from the nearby restaurant to serve me. I feel this would be a good hotel when fully running in the summer months but not towards the end of the season when we went (end Oct school term time).

Family with older children. Staff throughout this hotel were so friendly & helpful. Lovely rooms with balcony & nice bathroom. Pretty hotel with delightful garden for breakfast or drinks. Breakfast choice was outstanding. We did not eat at hotel apart from breakfast as we tended to eat at the restaurants by the lake. Few minutes walk to very large campsite with waterpark, restaurants, takeaway, supermarket & shops. Shuttle train goes from here into town. Town is walking distance or you can use shuttle train or local bus (face mask required for public transport currently). Lovely outdoor pool at hotel. Hotel cleaned to a high standard. Rooms attended to daily. Panoramic view of lake/mountains from our room. Would return as it was a lovely, friendly, clean & pretty hotel.

Just returned from a wonderful stay. The beds we’re comfortable. Hotel really kept to a high standard of cleanliness. The staff are really friendly, hardworking and helpful. Even though it was the height of the school holidays there was never a problem getting a sun bed . Lovely quiet hotel near to the lake and at the edge of a very very busy campsite. The hotel is mainly geared towards families with young children. The continental buffet breakfast was excellent with a really good selection but the hot food ( bacon and eggs ) was not often hot . I would definitely recommend g th his hotel .?A quiet haven with all the lively facilities of the busy campsite if you want them .

I had booked for 4 days, but after a few hours I left... the hotel room was invaded by ants! I asked if it was possible to change rooms, but the staff (not very courteous and prepared) only intervened with a repellent...useless...the ants kept coming in passing through the doorframe...they came from the green pots on the terrace. I did not receive any kind of apology, I was also informed that the Director would contact me, which never happened.
I lost the deposit and had to spend more money to look for another facility at the last minute.
The only thing the staff was able to tell me was "..we are at the lake, some insects have to be tolerated..." and "you didn't give the repellent time to act..."...in a 4 star hotel it is not acceptable to have ants in the room (they reached the bed!) and in any case almost 2 hours had passed since the repellent was dispensed and the situation had remained unchanged!

Travel details: Travel date: End of April 2024 Travel duration: 1 week Type of trip: Family with 1 child (1 year)
Check-in and first impression: The check-in went smoothly and the staff was very friendly. There are a few parking spaces in front of the hotel, but there is also an underground car park that can be used.
Room: Our room was very clean and well equipped with a comfortable bed, a minibar and a flat-screen TV. Our special request for a baby bed was taken into account.
Service: The staff was always helpful and very child-friendly. Some of the rooms were already cleaned after breakfast.
Hotel facilities: All facilities of the neighboring Bella Italia campsite can be used by hotel guests. There are several restaurants on site, many children's playgrounds and several pools. There is direct access to the lake. Shops for daily needs are also available on site and there is a bike rental service.
Location: The hotel is a bit out of the way, but transport to the center of Peschiera is available. It takes about 30-40 minutes to walk to the center, but that was too far for us with a small child.
Conclusion: 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended, especially with children

Cannot fault this hotel. We stayed as a family with a young son age 5. Staff were absolutely brilliant with him. Drinks and food served at the hotel ( in conjunction with La Laconda) were great. Breakfast in the hotel was great. We stayed during the hail storm and the staff were brilliant the next day. Even though it would have been distressing for them , they didn't let that impact service to guests whatsoever. We have stayed at the campsite before in the bungalows , however staying in the hotel far exceeded our expectations. It felt incredibly safe. Our son Luka regularly went up to the bar to order for himself , the staff were so good with him which just makes the overall experience great. Room was cleaned daily and hotel always clean. Cannot fault this hotel and thank you to all the staff for making our holiday wonderful. We have already booked for next year !

Walking along the lake is a nice well lit walk it takes about 20mins into peschiera. There’s also a land train that goes around every 30 mins you can bring your pram on it and that takes 5 mins
