The hotel staff are great, the hotel is very clean, the hotel breakfast is OK but we left feeling the hotel was just 'alright'. We were given a remote for the TV, no English Channels LOL, shown how to use the air-conditioning as we were quite warm in the room first night but then found out it had been put to heating so came back from a day out to find our room like a sauna. Unfortunately they were shutting down areas for the winter i.e. put the sun loungers away the day before the warmest one of our holiday 20c and clear skies. Yes, we was served at the bar but had to wait for someone to come over from the nearby restaurant to serve me. I feel this would be a good hotel when fully running in the summer months but not towards the end of the season when we went (end Oct school term time). …

Just back after a lovely week at hotel Bella italia . Had to write a review to complement the staff who were absolutely excellent. So friendly and kind to the children even whilst working all hours in the extreme heat , they made the holiday.

Cannot fault this hotel. We stayed as a family with a young son age 5. Staff were absolutely brilliant with him. Drinks and food served at the hotel ( in conjunction with La Laconda) were great. Breakfast in the hotel was great. We stayed during the hail storm and the staff were brilliant the next day. Even though it would have been distressing for them , they didn't let that impact service to guests whatsoever. We have stayed at the campsite before in the bungalows , however staying in the hotel far exceeded our expectations. It felt incredibly safe. Our son Luka regularly went up to the bar to order for himself , the staff were so good with him which just makes the overall experience great. Room was cleaned daily and hotel always clean. Cannot fault this hotel and thank you to all the staff for making our holiday wonderful. We have already booked for next year !…

Just returned from a wonderful stay. The beds we’re comfortable. Hotel really kept to a high standard of cleanliness. The staff are really friendly, hardworking and helpful. Even though it was the height of the school holidays there was never a problem getting a sun bed . Lovely quiet hotel near to the lake and at the edge of a very very busy campsite. The hotel is mainly geared towards families with young children. The continental buffet breakfast was excellent with a really good selection but the hot food ( bacon and eggs ) was not often hot . I would definitely recommend g th his hotel .?A quiet haven with all the lively facilities of the busy campsite if you want them .

I am not in the habit of leaving bad reviews but in this case I really need to warn other travellers of the poor customer service and poor facilities in Hotel Bella Italia. We stayed in Tulipano Apartment No 6 in Hotel Bella Italia at the end of a fabulous holiday in the adjacent campsite. The air conditioning in the apartment is faulty and not working to the standard required of a 4 star hotel. We turned it on to the minimum temperature available off 16 degrees at 2pm, however the room remained warm and did not cool as expected. I walked over to reception to complain and was assured by Raluca that she would follow me over to the room in a few minutes to check it. After 30 minutes and still no sign of Raluca I returned to reception to find she had gone home!! A different lady called Miariam came to the room with a technician who looked at the aircon and said it was working but not cool enough and all they could do was supply us with fans and offer us a discount off our total price. However upon checkout we were met with Maria who refused to give us discount as promised. She sent somebody over to the room to check if air conditioning was working and they came back saying yes it was working. She did not listen when I tried to explain that yes it is working but it is faulty and does not cool the room to the desired temperature. She finally offered to call a technician to check and asked me to wait for him to arrive and check the aircon. At this point I just wanted out of there so paid the outrageous price for the room after having received assurances from Maria that she would refund a discount if it was found to be faulty. I knew they was slim chance of this happening! I asked her to let me know the result of his visit and received the expected response to say the aircon was working! There is also no life and no balcony in these apartments so be warned - you will be extremely uncomfortable! …

Dear Family O'Brien, thank you for your review that we were waiting because at the moment of the check out you told us: if you don't give us the discount, we will write a review. So we are not suprised. Anyway, we checked in the evening, during the night and also in the morning with a specific technician the air condition and the temperature of your room and it was cold. It's impossible that the collegue of the night offered you a discount because they are not authorised. Why we have to give you a discount if the air condition is on, it works and the room is cold? As you can read the in the others review, our highlight is the kindness of our staff. At the moment this apartment is busy and any guest has a problem with air condition. We stayed here for 1 night as an end to our trip of the Bella italia campsite. The room was very big which was great. Was near the road and had no lift which were prob the only negatives but still managed to sleep well. Pool was great as was the breakfast. Would stay here again if in the area.

More of a family / children hotel NOT for couples wanting a bit of peace and quiet unless you come out of season. We were probably here a bit too early in September! Jet2 half board was decent value - food ok but not amazing. That said all staff v friendly, hotel clean (in our opinion 3 stars not 4), and well placed for exploring. Probably wouldn’t come back as we’d find somewhere a little more quiet.

Family with older children. Staff throughout this hotel were so friendly & helpful. Lovely rooms with balcony & nice bathroom. Pretty hotel with delightful garden for breakfast or drinks. Breakfast choice was outstanding. We did not eat at hotel apart from breakfast as we tended to eat at the restaurants by the lake. Few minutes walk to very large campsite with waterpark, restaurants, takeaway, supermarket & shops. Shuttle train goes from here into town. Town is walking distance or you can use shuttle train or local bus (face mask required for public transport currently). Lovely outdoor pool at hotel. Hotel cleaned to a high standard. Rooms attended to daily. Panoramic view of lake/mountains from our room. Would return as it was a lovely, friendly, clean & pretty hotel.

We stayed a week here while the rest of our family were on the euro camp site. We also had access to the euro camp facilities. The hotel is ultra clean and very comfortable ( great shower). The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is good. The Locanda restaurant is good value and all the eurocamp facilities are good. This place is great for a family holiday. We also took the train from Pesceira to Venice and did a couple of boat trips.
