We had a wonderful weeks stay at the Hotel Puccini this September. I can’t fault the hotel in any way. The staff were friendly and helpful. Whoever was on the desk when we arrived or left the hotel always greeted us with a smile and a chat. They were brilliant at helping me hire a wheelchair for my father (even collecting and returning it for me in their own car). The breakfast staff were lovely and friendly (I think they took a shine to my dad!) I even got a goodbye hug on the last day. Breakfast itself was a wide selection of food and you could go back as many times as you wanted. Location was great, just a 13 mins stroll (with a wheelchair) to the main centre. The hotel is right by the beach and there are 2 snack bars and 1 restaurant within minutes of the hotel. The pool area was lovely (very quiet in September) and there is a pool bar which opens at around 2:30pm. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely return here should I visit Peschiera in the future.

We just returned from a week holiday at Hotel Puccini in Peschiera. It was such a wonderful stay, truly a gem, the cleanliness is spot on, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. From the moment we booked they gave us all the information we needed through chat and while there they made sure our stay was a comfortable one. Rooms, pool and breakfast were as shown on website. We had 2 rooms booked and both were very good. I would totally recommend. I cannot thank them enough for making our holiday a beautiful memory for us.

We were very disappointed in this hotel and service. The rooms and the entire floor had a severe negative chemical smell to the point it caused me an asthma attack and I could not stay in the hotel. We had not expected a full refund and were completely fine paying for the fist night despite the fact that it was impossible to stay for health reasons, but they decided to not be accommodating and keep the money for 2 nights. VERY DISAPPOINTING, THINK TWICE TO BOOK THIS HOTEL ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE BREATHING ISSUES OR WOULD LIKE TO STAY HEALTHY. The location is by the lake however not much of a lake view. The view is directly on a camping site and all what goes with it, if you like camping it's a good thing, if you don't, it is not. Bathrooms are new but have a horrific smell. Mattresses are supposed to be new but extremely uncomfortable and cheap.

One of the very best hotels we have ever stayed in. Our room was lovely and spacious and comfortable, as was the bathroom, with a lovely walk in shower. The Wi-Fi and safe were free, which is not always the case. The air conditioning was excellent and very welcome with the extreme Italian heat. We didn’t have to much to do with the staff, but they were always very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and all very tasty. The swimming pool looked nice but we never used it. Highly recommended.

Recently renovated hotel with excellent clean rooms , great friendly and attentive staff far exceeding the 3 star rating of the respective category. It’s located approx 15 minutes walk along scenic lake shot from the city center where most of the restaurants are. Number of restaurants next to it as well next to the beac. They offer good breakfast and have ample free parking

A beautiful hotel where we received a very warm welcome. All staff from cleaners, reception and restaurant staff were polite, helpful and friendly , a special mention to the girl working in the restaurant, the one who spoke good English, I don't know her name she was so nice. The day we went home we were allowed to go into the dining room before 7.30. The breakfasts were excellent with a great choice, far better that I had expected from a 3 star establishment. Our room was immaculate and spacious with lots of fluffy towels, a fab walk in shower, obviously recently refurbished. Pool area immaculate and well maintained. Great location: 2 mins from lake side and a 20 mins stroll to town centre. The train station is a good 30 minutes walk due to the heat I would suggest a taxi. There is a bus stop nearby which goes to Verona and other lake side destinations. Peschiera is a lovely little town with plenty of cafes/ restaurants. We really enjoyed this resort as a couple, great base for exploring. I would highly recomend this hotel.

An easy 30 minute transfer from Verona Airport. We were very pleasantly surprised with this 3* hotel. Our room on the first floor was clean and spacious. The room safe was extremely small so iPads and cameras couldn’t fit. Room cleaned daily, fresh towels whenever we needed them. Only one room key per room, despite us asking for an additional key. I’m guessing because they don’t want the air con running whilst the room is empty. The air con did work very well and cooled the room quickly despite 30+ outdoor temperatures. There is a charge of €5 per beach towel if using the pool, which took me a little by surprise. Pool area, clean and well maintained. Breakfasts were good, lots of choice and replenished frequently. Excellent coffee! Staff pleasant and very obliging by letting us in earlier than 7.30, to accommodate us catching a train to Venice. MarieAngelina (hope I remembered her name correctly) on Reception was very helpful in calling us taxis. Location was ideal. 2 minutes to the Lake and a 20 minute stroll to town centre. We caught the train to Verona and Venice for day trips. The station is a good 30 minute walk so you’d probably want to take a taxi. Peschiera is a lovely little town, a great base to explore further afield. We really enjoyed our stay at The Hotel Puccini and I would recommend a visit.

We arrived at about 7.30pm and the receptionist was pleasant enough. When we got into our room it was 25degrees and suffocating. We were only given one room card. We changed to go for something to eat and asked if we could have another card to try and get the room cooler as it was too hot. We were told it was an eco friendly hotel so we could only have another card for a short time as they didn’t want the air conditioning leaving on. It was hitting 30degrees outside at this point! We were there a week and the temp didn’t drop below 21 in the room despite us leaving the card in. At breakfast time it felt like we were being constantly watched over by the ‘manager’. She was pleasant enough to start off with but it was clear that if you were German or Italian you had more attention paid towards you. The outside area was nice and the pool was lovely. The staff did struggle to give upto date info regarding buses, and taxis and ferries. All the timetables in the stand were out of date! On our day of departure we weren’t getting picked up until 5pm and had to be out of our room by 11am. We were allowed 1 hours frees” access to the pool area then would be charged €15 each to go outside. There wasn’t even an area to get changed in if we paid to use the facilities and any luggage was kept in a small cupboard that wasn’t locked and anyone could get into! When we questioned this we were reminded that they were a 3 * and maybe our expectations were a bit too high! The room was ok but very dusty ( all the coat hangers were covered in dust and so was the room telephone and the headboard)and we had to ask for additional pillows. It wasn’t a cheap hotel despite the 3* so did expect them to be a bit more friendly but maybe it was because we were English….

Really a beautiful hotel. Nice location, but above all a fantastic service throughout the hotel. reception, cleaning staff, the breakfast staff and the girl in the pool area - all very attentive and helpful. Can highly recommend this wonderful hotel with a very good location, 5 minutes' walk from the lake and the beach and 10 minutes' walk from the center.
