The apartments are very well situated and overlook the beautiful Lake Como. Check in and check was seamless and the staff were very helpful. Arrived to a nice, clean and welcoming apartment. All the bits you expect to be available when you book a place to stay for a few days were there (towels, basic toiletries etc. The apartment we booked was spacious enough for our family. For the price we paid for the stay and location was extremely reasonable and cant complain. Its a short walk to Hotel Britannia where you can have buffet food & drinks, for a reasonable price you can enjoy the floating pool which also has a bar and restaurant. There is also another restaurant called the Lido which also has a pool and an exquisite food menu. Highly recommend the apartments if you are going to stay on Lake Como.

We spent a weekend here and it was the perfect getaway after lockdown. Great service, someone met us and gave us the keys to the very clean apartment which was so clean we could still smell the disinfectant! What a view too perfect weather to see across the lake to bellagio. There wasn’t much open but we did manage to get to cantina follie for a wine tasting in tremezzo. A nice little shop around the corner for the essentials was an unexpected surprise but was great when we wanted to eat in the apartment.

I was a little hesitant before I booked Luxury Britannia Apartments because of the reviews here - I went for it in the end as I have been misled by places with lots of great reviews in the past only to find out that they are not that great / all the same in the end! I followed the review and ensured that I made my requests very clear to the Apartments to cover myself as I couldn't afford to have any issues travelling alone with my son and I don't speak Italian! Check-in turned out to be super smooth and no fuss at all! Each time I visit Europe and check in at hotels, there is always some minor hiccups but this time there wasn't! The staff there were very nice and kind and polite and spoke English, which I always appreciate especially when travelling with a child. They remembered us from day 2 and greeted us each morning and my son loved it! They made him feel very special which really made the trip very memorable for both of us! The apartment itself was amazing - I have stayed in other places in Italy and many aren't even half of the standard of Luxury Britannia Apartments. I couldn't understand the negative reviews here or maybe things have changed since. Stunning view - no false advertising. My son and I absolutely adored having our meals there, admiring the lake. Everything was clean including the bathroom and I could not really find anything to complain about! Bathroom was actually amazing - my son was astonished by the look and size of it as we had never seen bathrooms so spacious and high class in a hotel or normal apartment! I never trust pictures of hotel bathrooms online as they are normally a disappointment and I was really pleased with the one in ours apartment! (and I am REALLY fussy with bathrooms) Pillow was a little low for me - I didn't bother asking for another one. Staff asked me if I was happy with everything in the morning after my first night, I briefly mentioned it to them but said not to worry. When we returned from our little day expedition - they left an extra pillow for me. I was really touched by this. For me - it was all the little things that count as well, they were really friendly people, always ready to help and would go out of their way to help you. My son was happy and that was the most important for me. Massive thank you to the staff again for making our stay so pleasant and enjoyable!

We stayed over a bank holiday with 2 other families. The apartment was beautiful, more than enough rooms for us all, towels all provided, basic toiletries, they had even set up a little cot bed for the kids and there was high chairs, a baby bath and other bits for the kids too. We stayed for 3 nights. Check in was super easy, you just got the keys from the lock box outside of the apartment, instructions all left for you so easy to follow. Was a short walk to the hotel for food, drinks and the pool. The buffet food was great, always hot and fresh and there is so much choice, they are happy to help accommodate kids and no request too small. For me, its the little things like that, they are so welcoming to kids it really does make such a difference to your trip and evening. Around a 10 mins walk to the ferry too and the bus stops all the way along the road. Lovely little corner shop right by the hotel too, reasonably priced and had milk, bread and all the other essentials. They even had PG tips tea in there so I was happy :) A lovely stay and the staff are always so helpful or just a phone call away. For the price you really cannot complain. We will be back for sure.

Feel ripped off, myself husband and daughter traveled across Italy, we booked 3 nights here in a two bedroom apartment. We arrived didn’t know where to get keys, so went to Britannia hotel and they gave us keys. The apartment does NOT have two bedrooms. One bedroom and lounge. I paid a lot of money especially because we wanted two bedrooms. When we challenged this they said the lounge is the second bedroom. I could have booked a one bedroom much cheaper. The swimming pool is across the road, stating free entry, saving us 18 euros, however 6 euros each for a sun bed each and another 6 euros for the parasol because it was in the area of the beds we had to pay for that. Couldn’t use the pool unless we spent another 3 euros each for swimming cap each. Complete disgrace. Also beach towels are 8 euros each if you haven’t got one. There is another pool opposite the hotel but not free entry if staying in apartments so a total day at this pool would have cost us 56 euros for the day. Charged excess amount for falsely advertised apartment, then have to pay for the pool. My daughter very upset she didn’t have her own space and we moved her bed into lounge, there is a sofa bed in the lounge but didn’t want to put this up and down every day. Understandably teenagers do not want to sleep with their parents. We only had two towels on arrival. Had to go the hotel to collect one for my daughter. You’re room is not serviced during a 3 night stay and no clean towels. same one for the stay. Breakfast basic at the hotel. Also be aware the french doors are not very secure. The garden was a mess too. Didn’t fancy sitting in the weeds. There is a boat you can catch from the hotel for 6 euros each return to Bellagio. Beautiful place. and lounge.
