Absolutely amazing and clean hotel. My elegant and luxury suite was spacious, spotless and with extra large double bed, comfortable mattress and soft pillows. The bathroom was also clean and tidy with fresh towels, hair dryer and toilet paper. The view to the pool from our balcony was perfect. Pool was large and spotless with sunbeds and umbrellas, with wonderful poolside bar with excellent cocktails. Highly recommended 100% and 5 stars by me!

Many facilities such like fitness room, sauna, tennis and volleyball court, scuba diving at the pool, video games and billiards, aqua aerobic are only a few of them! Staff was attentive and polite, front desk was helpful and the check in was fast. Reasonable rates for the season and I' ll love to recommend it to everyone who want to make the best vacations.

DO NOT VISIT THIS HOTEL Lydia Maris in kolymbia greece . We went ther for two weeks at the beginning of September we were a family of 8 my husband, son, daughter in law and grandchildren. Well were do I start this hotel is ment to be 5 star greece but 4 + star tui NOT TRUE the food was cold or warm the rooms well not 5 star ours was ok as we paid a lot of money for a swim up room, the checkin receptionist was sturn and quite rude, the bar staff was miserable and tbh couldnt be bothered, there is no entertainment at all. Onky welcome meetings for NON ENGLISH people didnt cater for the english at all, one member of bar staff did nothing but tell us off 1st for eating around the pool when everyone else was doing it. Then for putting my bag on a chair and leaving it there while we were having a drink in the bar, then for playing ball in the pool yes there were lots of poepke playing ball in the pool then for putting my legs on the chair whike i was having a drink. In the end i had to oull him up and ask why he keptvtellingbus not to do these things when everyone around us was doing exactly as we was wuth nothing said. Then we had tobsit and witness the hotel owners and his famiky having a full scale argument with one of there children to the point where she was crying uncontrollably, then to top that the next dsy the owner went in to the restaurant and calked the manager and staff out and processed to have a go at them all about not labeling the food well most of it hadnt had labels for nearly two weeks. I went to reception and ssk the receptionist if they had a problem with english she ssid no, but we meet about 5 couples/ families that had had a terrible time as well. We have complained to tui but guess what they are not interested. This holiday was very expencive it wasnt anice place and had nothing that was said on the tui website, after having 3 holidays cancelled due to covid we looked for something similar to what was originally cancelled and this hotel ticked all the boxes BUT do not be fooled by what you read always check the reviews because thsts were the truth will be.

A group of 8 stayed here for 14 nights, In that time we was told to stop throwing a ball to each other in the swimming pool incase any water splashed over the side in to the pool ball that you went to in your wet swimming shorts/costume. We was told that we couldn't eat anything while sitting at the tables around the pool. When we went to the pool bar to get a drink for ourselves and our partners we was told that this needs to stop and you can't order more than one drink at a time. We was told not to sit at two tables incase others wanted to use it. Each table had 4 chairs and we was a group of 8! The staff at the bar was pretty rude and seemed to have a problem with us, it was constant that in the end I stopped drinking at the bar and stopped taking the ball in to the water. The hotel owners sit around the pool eating and drinking with family and friends and one day had an argument which was a bit awkward, they didn't talk to any guests. The staff in the restaurant was pleasant and the restaurant manager was very good. The food was repetitive at lunch and dinner and wasn't really catering for the British. The snack bar is just Gyros and chips which was lovely but after 3/4 days was not enjoyable. Sammy the chef was nice though. The pizzas was nice too at the pizza place. The swimming pool is a nice size but the water is cold, We never struggled to get a couple of sun loungers around 9.30am. The basic room is that, basic but was cleaned every day to a good standard. This hotel is rated a Greece 5* and a TUI 4* plus. I don't know how the ratings are done but I've stayed in other TUI 4* plus hotels and this hotel is nowhere near the quality of any of the others I've stayed in, I would say a 3* at best.

We got to the hotel late friday evening and were told we had one double and twin rooms as requested when we got to the rooms they were all twin rooms. The beds were rock hard and uncomfortable and the mattresses were two different heights and the bed frames made them sit about 3-4 inches apart and if you rolled over too far the beds would just slide on the tiled floor and you would fall down the gap. i have included pictures of the heights of the mattresses. My daughters room door lock was broken and you could not shut the door as soon as we got there i timd reception and they came and used a key and it worked but every time they opened the door without pulling the handle towards them the same thing happened, but they learned to keep pulling the handle up and down and the locking system would eventually come back out and was able to shut it. The third morning my daughters complained that the air conditioner was screeching all night and they couldnt turn it off i told reception that repaired the remote but not the noise so they had to keep it off and the room would get hot if they wanted to get any sleep. The air conditioner in the boys room kept leaking water down the wall. The first day there we was told we could not use our own cups and metal straws even though the cups they had were the exact same size we took our own because of covid and to be environmentally friendly. We was told we could get more than one drink despite there being 8 of us we had to go up individually. The pool bar is very small so 8 of us going up to get drinks together would not of worked. Some of the staff were just rude. We was playing with a pool ball and a few splashes of water from the pool landed on the edge of the pool bar counter around the outside of the pool and we were told we were not allowed to play with the ball. The pool bar is situated in the middle of the pool with bridges that go over the pool to get there and people go up there to get drinks wet there was also times other people had had balls in the pool land in the bar and nothing was said to them. We was told we was not allowed to eat around the pool yet nobody else was told we just felt like they did not like us or english people in general and it was not a welcoming place to be. The food was terrible we had to eat street food or at restaurants outside of the hotel most nights the times we did eat in the hotel restaurant all there was in the afternoon and evening to eat was lots of fish or spaghetti Bolognaise or chips. I have coeliac disease and i have always managed to find something to eat but this proved very differcult in this hotel even the snack bars were pizza or gyros which was generally a donner kebab in pita bread not as advertised on the tui website as having hamburgers and chicken available at the snack bar as i would of eaten chicken and salad we only ate at the hotel because we had to watch money as we didnt budget for having to buy food out of the hotel as i have never been on an all inclusive holiday and had to eat out or go hungry. We had one day were the owner and his family were having a family arguement in the middle of the pool area the teenage girl was crying her eyes out it made us feel very uncomfortable and it is definitely not what you want to hear or see while you are supposed to be relaxing on your holiday that you have working hard to pay for it is also very unprofessional in my opinion. The entertainment was non existent and we found that they often began quizzes before the time they advertised so they were missed. Overall we got the feeling that they dont really cater for english people and dont really want them there. I do not recommend this hotel and I definitely wont be going back. Sorry i dont have any more pictures but it was not a holiday i enjoyed and where we usually have many pictures to post on facebook we didnt take many and non at the hotel.
