We had a great stay at this family run place. Savvas, the son is fluent in English, super friendly, answered all our questions and just made us feel welcome. The restaurant is well known in Rhodes as one of the best and we had a great meal there. The daily breakfast is nice, everything is home made and the flowering courtyard is a beautiful setting to start your day.
Second time here. It is an amazing restaurant. Since we are a bit boutique, we’re quiet hard to satisfy. But this restaurant did it. The kitchen is different from other fish restaurants in town, since they do serve traditional fish dishes, but combined with very „modern“ and innovative way of preparing it. Btw. It is a family business and they are exceptionally friendly. A must visit.
Not much else to say - absolutely beautiful restaurant terrace garden with outstanding service, very good wine and food. Every member of staff was attentive and charming, with brilliant recommendations. 100% recommend.
Simply lovely. Good service and food. Atmosphere unbeatable. Real jewel in old town Rhodes. Highly recommend. Their wines are delicious too and the staff are knowledgeable a recommending any If you would like a treat on holiday , this is the place to go.
Really friendly restaurant who were welcoming to everyone and provided a fabulous outdoor setting with beautiful lighting. We had a series of starters to share and then desserts and the highlight for us was the seafood croquettes which were perfect.
Stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our Greek Islands holiday. Spiros the owner met us at one of the gates and carried the luggage to the mansion. it is on a quiet pedestrian street. Spacious bedroom with a very comfortable bed, sitting area, small kitchenette and bathroom. Spiros also recommended restaurants to us and arranged for an electric cart to bring us to the ferry when we were leaving. Breakfast was self service in a lovely terrace,
What an amazing gem in the heart of the old town. Spiros was an excellent host, as was his mother. Both extremely kind and attentive hosts. The food was delicious both starter and main course and as it was my birthday we got a lovely cake and some shots! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the old town and we will be back again on our next trip to Rhodes.
Amazing! Spiros and Effi could not have been any more friendly, helpful and welcoming to their beautiful boutique hotel. An oasis of calm and tranquility in a quiet cobbled street with a magical garden restaurant serving first class food.
I stayed one night at the hotel and ate in the restaurant while passing through Rhodes. Spiros and Effy could not have been kinder - they were responsive, sorted out my transfer and even drew me a map to my ferry! Effy also knew exactly what I needed when I arrived - a delicious salad and glass of wine in their gorgeous restaurant. The room was basic but spotless and I had the best night sleep in ages. I left very grateful for a great start to the holiday.
The courtyard garden setting cannot be beaten. Wonderful planting and lighting. Part of the restaurant is arranged to give separated spaces or you may choose the buzzier central area. The food is fantastic. Although expensive by Rhodes standards, it is a bargain by British standards. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a mother and son combination which was charming and entertains. The crab starter and croaker (?) fish main were delicious. The wine recommendation was spot on and do try the complimentary citrus liqueur offered at the end (lemon or mandarin), it was delicious and I am not a liqueur fan. It was fully booked in mid-May which spoke volumes. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
