I would totally recommend the De_Naxia Suites as a base while discovering Santorini. Everything was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. The fridge was filled with milk, juice, yogurt, ham and cheese etc, as well as fresh fruit and bread. It is about 15 minutes walk down to the beach, and there is a supermarket about 50 yards away. We will definitely be back and the hot tub was amazing!
We had the pleasure of staying at the superb De Naxia suites in Perrisa Santorini. The whole experience from arrival to departure was truly amazing. We highly recommend De Naxia suites and we would definitely return to this place.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the De_Naxia and would definitely stay again. The units have a great view of the highest mountain in Santorini. The unit was cleaned to a very high standard. Each day the food, juice, milk and water is replenished in your unit which is the provided breakfast. Each unit has a small private heated pool. Walking distance to a supermarket (cheap alcohol) and of course the black sand beach. We stayed for 3 nights in room 102.
Initially, myself and my girlfriend were throughly looking forward to staying at the De_Naxia Suites, until we arrived and were taken to our room, which was about 5 meters away from the main road through Perissa and featured a bed with a broken mattress. Not exactly the relaxing experience we had hoped for. We booked through Air BnB and were allowed to check in early which was polite of the host. The photographs on the listing were stunning, making the location look secluded and quiet, but it is far from that. If you are looking for somewhere to relax for a week with a jacuzzi, this is not the place. We found it was mainly full of teenagers, clearly due to the location close to the strip in Perissa. The suits themselves are modern, but get little natural light and are very loud and echoey, we could hear crashing and banging from the reception during our entire stay. As mentioned, my mattress was broken which I had to inform the cleaner about to have fixed. Then my girlfriend wanted to make a hot drink and found the kettle had an unknown white liquid in, which I requested to have changed. The bathroom was clean and a good size with a walk in shower, but the bedroom was a little small with barely enough room to open the cupboards. When you have to complain more than once you feel as though you’re moaning, but in actual fact, it was just poor service and cleanliness. The jacuzzi was the only real saviour, but being directly next to a main road ruined the experience for us. I wouldn’t recommend this to a couple wanting to experience Santorini properly, being remote and having a form of transport is personally the best way to enjoy the island and it’s beauty. We rented a quad in Perissa from Marks Bikes, they’re great and trustworthy. You are 40 minutes drive to Oia from here and about 20 to Thira and Kamari. Do note the suites have a shuttle service for €30 to the airport if you are needing transport when you leave. …
We booked De Naxia Suites for one week through Expedia we were on an early morning flight just before leaving for the airport we received an email saying De Naxia could no longer honour our booking. A VERY STRESSFUL, time in airport trying to find alternative accommodation a 25 minute phone call stated this hotel has let people down before at the last minute, be warned
