The rooms are very basic and old fashioned. The exterior is very serene and lovely but don’t get room 21 or 22 ! Bright lights outside and the floor rocks! There were electrical switches in bathrooms that definitely shouldn’t be touched. The food comes as a one price buffet.

I am from Alotau, Milne Bay, Tawali Resort is just beautiful. Snorkel, Dive, or Trek nearby and explore Skull Caves, Waterfalls. Very safe to stay and the locals are very kind and welcoming. The sunsets, sea and surroundings are just gorgeous and very relaxing, with poolside,

Yes, Tawali is primarily for Scuba diving. Generally doing 3 boat dives a day. There is availability for diving on the house reef and extra boat dives can be arranged.

Internet connection can be slow or non-existent. Meals are buffet, not a la carte with a couple of choices. Food is pretty good. There's nowhere else to eat, so definitely worth booking! Don't remember how much we paid for trips, but they were great - bird-watching our favourite.

Not sure exactly but probably around 10+ units. A wonderful remote paradise that is highly recommended.

Negatory. There's a really expensive laundry service - you could just about buy a new pair of undies for 4 kina! We hand washed in the bathroom and hung our washing on the veranda. No big deal.

"The lower the number the closer it is to the eating areas."
"We enjoyed room 14. Why? We like to be a bit further away from the main buildings. It was quiet and had a wonderful open view of the lagoon."
