We stayed for three nights, primarily for diving. The resort is in a remote location on the beautiful East Cape. It is an easy journey from the airport to the boat (approximately one hour) through picturesque villages by the coast. The boat ride is around 15-20 minutes. All the

For diving and sleeping is this a very good resort. Albert was my dive guide and he is a really good dive guide. I saw many big and small sizes. The mix is nice. Only the bird guides were very sad Gilbert knows nothing about birds and Michael may be 1%. The food was good, but

Never imagine I would be able to enjoy this alone time. Came at this place without any agenda but once there the tours and adventures they offer leaves nothing but wonderful memories. Thank you Tawali for a wonderful place, friendly staff and outrageous, breathtaking place.

Internet connection can be slow or non-existent. Meals are buffet, not a la carte with a couple of choices. Food is pretty good. There's nowhere else to eat, so definitely worth booking! Don't remember how much we paid for trips, but they were great - bird-watching our favourite.

How many rooms and bungalows does the resort have?
Not sure exactly but probably around 10+ units. A wonderful remote paradise that is highly recommended.

Are there any laundry facilities?
Negatory. There's a really expensive laundry service - you could just about buy a new pair of undies for 4 kina! We hand washed in the bathroom and hung our washing on the veranda. No big deal.

"Rooms away from the restaurant"
"Have a look at what alternatives are available before selecting your room. Especially check for hot water."
"If you do not dive, don't bother going as they really dont care about non divers or the trips for them."
"The lower the number the closer it is to the eating areas."
"We enjoyed room 14. Why? We like to be a bit further away from the main buildings. It was quiet and had a wonderful open view of the lagoon."
