The Premier Inn Gosport hotel garners praise for its cleanliness, with many guests appreciating spotless rooms, although some mention the need for upkeep in areas. It's widely recognized for its serene ambiance and hospitable staff, alongside the fresh meals that guests enjoy. Staff were very helpful and smiling, and had time to talk.
Girl on desk was very helpful with setting up the wi fi(why don't you put your prices up £5.00 per room and EVERYONE gets the top wifi package?)
Girl with dark hair and ponytail, always a smile and very helpful, cleaner doing ground floor was friendly,it does make a difference to my stay.
Very helpful with early check in as I had to attend a funeral and change my clothes,a place I will book again..thankyou all.
Top Team...no egos(ish)

This is a very reasonable hotel to stay in. The room is spacious and clean. I did phone prior to arrival to request a room with a bath as the new rooms are shower rooms. The bed was not as comfortable as usual... perhaps needs updating. The bottom sheet is rather small and comes untucked during the night. There is no choice of pillows now but they can be requested. We had no mugs in the room but this was soon rectified. The choice of tea and coffee is very frugal. There is a soap dispenser and hair/ body wash in the bathroom so no need for individual toiletries. The room was rather warm but the air conditioning worked fine. The price varied widely over the three nights we stayed but, generally, no complaints!

Premier Inn Gosport did a brilliant job of looking after my mother when she stayed. They saw her using a walker and immediately re-allocated her to an accessible room close to reception which is great because she can't walk long distances. The room had a walk-in shower with a seat and emergency cords in both bathroom and bedroom which gave me great peace of mind. At the buffet breakfast the staff helped her, asked her what she would like and brought it to her. They also chatted to her. Premier Inns have been, in my experience rather soul-less places, but this one was warm and welcoming. Having a small breakfast room in the hotel is much nicer than trudging over to a nearby eatery, or in some cases the petrol station. The room was really clean and the bed comfortable. It is also a quiet location near to a leisure centre, pub, and retail outlets. My mum stayed over Christmas and the staff were therefore working over Christmas but they were really pleasant and did a great job.

A lovely warm welcome and friendly staff. Room immaculate and had a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast set me up well for the day with a good selection of freshly cooked food available. Love the fact you can choose a bath or a shower as most hotel rooms these days are shower only

I found both the hotel and the staff still work to a very high standard. I had pre booked my stay so check-in was quick and simple. The room I requested was a twin, so I had the standard King size bed and a converted Sofa bed. The room and bathroom were clean and bright. There was a television and tea and coffee making facilities. I had pre booked and paid for my breakfast in the mornings so was a simple case of arriving at my booked time slot. Food was cooked fresh and the chef was happy to cook any additional food if asked. Overall I am very happy with the experience I had while staying at this Premier Inn and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

When we arrived the room was dirty, but there was nobody on reception to complain to. Then the following day we learned of Premier Inn's new policy to only clean rooms or refresh the tea and coffee if guests search for a receptionist and ask for the services you would expect from any other hotel. It seems that since Covid, Premier Inn have decided that hygiene and the safety of their customers is far less important than the profit they can make by inflating the prices when there is a major event nearby. Do not believe in the Clean Protect promise, it is nonsense. Our room did not even have a basic level of cleanliness, there was a terrible smell to greet us, bits on the floor, stains on the walls, even the room key card looked dirty. Not to mention the banging and clattering from the above, and the air-conditioning that kept turning itself off to make sure the room would not stay at a comfortable temperature.

We arrived on the eighth of September to be greeted by a very pleasant young man by the name of Nigel, we found him to be very helpful as due to my wifes disability he arranged for us to be on the ground floor.
Our room was up to the normal high standard that we have always enjoyed at all the Premier Inns we have stayed at over many years.
We have stayed at this Hotel before pre covid and had our breakfast at the adjacent pub, breakfast are now served in a pleasant little dining room in the hotel, the breakfast staff were great and I must make a special mention of a lovely young lady called Charlene who went to a lot of trouble to satisfy our needs which made our breakfast times special.
We have the continental as I do like the red berries with my Granola.
As mentioned above we have stayed here before as we find Gosport to be a good base with many interesting places to visit in all directions and if all is well we will be back.

I stayed in april also, I had one of the newer rooms which was quite classy, clean, and nice, but this review is for my stay in may.
This time I had an older style room, which could definitely do with some updating, but the bed sofa/chaise was so comfy, and the room was huge.
The bath was a luxury, and the shower superb.
The beds are so comfy and clean.
The staff are fab, hardworking and friendly. They deserve a big shout out.
My only complaint is the RIP off wifi. The free wifi was so pathetic that I had to buy the ultimate wifi, but even that kept kicking me off and making me sign in over and over.
I think this premier inn is like a home from home, great value, and I would recommend to anyone e. Well done!

Staying 2 nights for work. Hotel from the outside looks very run down on arrival.
Get to my room on first night. Stinks of cigarette smoke. The guest the night before had clearly been smoking in there. The smell was so obvious and so bad that the cleaner must have noticed it - but then either didn't notify anyone, or did and management decided to still let another guest stay in it.
I went to reception and requested a room transfer. Girl on reception very unhelpful, said they were fully booked that night and could not help(there were about 4 cars in the carpark so clearly not true). I then asked if she could at least give me an air freshener or something. After about 5 minutes of excuses she reluctantly gave me the Febreeze from the staffroom. Couldn't even open a window as it was on the 2nd floor.
The following morning I asked for my room to be switched for that evening and said that if they couldn't then I would stay somewhere else. Surprise surprise they magically had a room available for me to switch to. The 2nd night, my room was fine.
Normally know what you're getting with a premier inn but I would avoid this one like the plague!!!!!

No fridges in the rooms, but if you ask at reception they can put stuff in a guest fridge for you :)
