Detailed Reviews
In a wonderful part of the world called Santiago do Cacém, there just outside of the city is a place called Casas de Miróbriga.
It is one of the most simplistic restored farmhouses we have stayed in for a long time. Has clean a well fitted rooms, a pool and a wonderful personal cooked breakfast.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, but still not too far from places like Sines ( A must see for seafood) and Santiago do Cacém and the castle itself, the Roman ruins or the disused Railway station, then look no further and book a room here if you can.

We stayed at Casas de Mirobriga for a week in August having been recommended the same by family who have been going there for a few years now. We wanted peace, quiet and tranquility, Casas de Mirobriga promised and delivered this and more! We took our three year old grandson with us and he absolutely loved it (he would kick up a fuss when it was time to go home at the end of a day at the pools!). The apartments were well appointed with everything one could want or need. The beds were very comfortable and the air-conditioning was a life saver! The staff were also amazing. Would we stay again? Most definitely yes.

+1
Gorgeous place, relaxing and comfortable, near one of the most underrated cities in Alentejo province, the well-preserved medieval Santiago do Cacem and its beautiful moorish castle, in addition to the roman ruins not far from this Herdade. Nights were cold but rooms are all air conditioned for summer and winter. Breakfast was great, made to order by Lurdes and Liliana who are really nice and make you feel at home. Bikes are available by the front desk, including bikes for kids. Wi-fi was free and robust. Everyone followed the official recommendations for prevention of Covid-19. I highly recommend Casas de Mirobriga.

We have stayed at this property on a few occasions. The rooms are spacious and clean. In the summer it is lovely and cool but they really should close in the winter. The heating and facilities are not adequate and the rooms are cold and damp, very damp! We also had no hot water the first day so overall a disappointing experience. Maybe that's why we were the only guests on this occasion.

We stayed here on a road trip down the Portuguese coast and found the place to be clean, charming, and quiet. Easy to find on google maps. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and modern. The pool was also nice. Recommended

Very nice place with friendly staff. The swimmingpool is a 70 m walk, but thats no problem. It's as clean as the rest of the place with beautifull plants and flowers surrounding it. They go the extra mile.😊 keep it up 👍

Casas de Mirobriga is located in a peaceful countryside setting not far from Santiago de Cacém a lovely quaint town full of history. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are comfortable. An abundant breakfast is available every morning to start the day with views out to the gardens of lavender overlooking the rolling hills complete with resident donkey and horse. The grounds are stunning with a beautiful pool and many areas for relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we appreciated their recommendations for restaurants and the many day trip options nearby. Our three day stay at Casas de Mirobriga was a highlight of our Portugal trip!

Don't be put off by staying in room 13 as it's excellent. Spacious, clean, well equipped with a comfortable bed and a good hot shower. We didn't have the best weather during our stay but the A/C units in the lounge and the bedroom were more than capable of keeping the place warm and comfortable. There is a router in the room so wi-fi is readily available. Two in our party had the breakfast and said it was ideal for them, good choice and freshly prepared. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
