Detailed Reviews
This was by far the most expensive place we stayed in in our two weeks walking the Rota Vicentina. The owner is delightful but the food was by far the worst. Horrible inedible breakfast and dinner much the same. The room was okay, but nothing special. Lumpy pillows and blankets. Maybe because it was the most expensive we expected more, but were very disappointed.

Response from Carlos Ricardo R, Diretor de vendas at A Deolinda Casa De Campo
Responded 8 Oct 2014

A basic hotel with a friendly welcome. The room was clean despite being a little small with the extra bed for a toddler. Staff friendly, good, regional cooking. Mobile network coverage poor on Vodafone, and no wi-fi, or at least there was no information on wi-fi visibly displayed, although we only stayed for one night, so it wasn't a big problem. The biggest negative was the fact that the card payment machine was not working, so I had to pay in cash. Luckily I had the cash on me, otherwise it would have meant an inconvenient trip into the nearest town (Santiago do Cacém) to an ATM.

+1
Familiar environment and sympathic and very helpful persons. Very quiet place, 2,5 km from Santiago do Cacém center. The room seem to have been recently remodolated. The daily allowance is above average for the offered conditions. Low number of rooms. The breakfast food didn't seem to be fresh and you have better options in Santiago do Cacém for your meals.

We loved the place, super quiet. The mobile house where we stayed was perfect for 4 people (two adults and two children) and had everything needed to make meals. Mrs Deolinda is extremely kind. When we go to that side of the concert, we'll stay there.

The bungalow served the purpose to sleep only 1 night and take a bath. Very tight space for 4 people, in need of renovation. Very weak breakfast in a room almost dark. Bread and croissants from the day before. Super dry cake. Cold measured eggs, we had to heat in the microwave.
