I knew the hotel manager for some time, yet on leaving a casa to pick up after a stay, I was told by phone that they threw it away. I lost a broach of my late mother, documenti, photos that cannot be replaced, clothes and boots. I am still under shock. Elise Floriana Leto
Near Lake Bracciano with parking (underground and outdoor), with an excellent restaurant where we could dine comfortably, with all the anti Covid safety criteria. The room is really large, even with a kitchen, a small living room, bedroom and bathroom. The cleaning was thorough, the service, from the welcome to the check-in to the restaurant service, everything was perfect. For lunch we chose a meat menu with appetizers of cold cuts and mixed cheeses and then a cut of meat, accompanied by a good local white wine: a Lacustre from Cantine Capitani. For dinner, however, we tried fish and seafood where we were surprised by the 5 starters and the main course: mixed grilled fish and seafood. An excellent experience that we would like to go back and do again as soon as possible.
I made a booking to stay at this hotel via a third site, which would incur a cancellation penalty. My flights got cancelled ages ago because of the pandemic, and I had completely forgot about the booking. Two days before my supposed trip, I receive an email from the hotel asking if was still coming. Of course, I wasn’t, but I managed to cancel my booking with a full refund. Much appreciated!
I have had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Massimino. The hotel room was nice, clean and I found everything I needed. The service is extremely friendly and even though I arrived at 2 am it was not a problem to get some cola and I was followed all the way to the room. The breakfast is simple but nice and accompanied by really good coffee. Along with the Hotel is a large restaurant that serves really good food at an affordable and reasonable price. Best Panna Cotta I have ever had. The food is almost always good in Italy but I was impressed. The wine I was served by the glass was good but I know Italy can do better. All in all a nice hotel for both business and holyday stay. One may however find one of the places close to Lago di Bracciano more interesting, but hotel Massimino is a nice stay. I hope to be back Pros: Friendly service Great restaurant Cons: Not the fastest internet Not the most interesting location…
Rooms are great and feel a bit impersonal but they are very big and the bed is comfortable. The staff is very friendly and checkin checkout process is fast. Breakfast could be improved but this is still the best choice for the money around.
this was the cheapest hotel we stayed in on a 5 night trip, yet it was faultless. Everything worked, the tv was large, the staff were pleasant, the restaurant was absolutely brilliant and the wine chosen by the waiter was good value and excellent. The only downside,on a very hot day,is that there is no pool but we would recommend this to anyone.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the front desk service was super friendly. The shower was phenomenal. It was immediately hot and had great pressure. Continental breakfast in the morning offered lots of pastries and some other fruit and yogurt. We also visited the restaurant for dinner and found the food to be quite delicious. The location is a few km outside of the old town, but with a car, it was perfect. I would stay again.
This is a fantastic hotel, not just for the money, but for everything it is. The only reason it is not a 5 star rating is The lack of swimming pool, and the hard ( in my humble opinion) mattress. Well that's be bad bit done, the rest is all good. Huge accommodation, (I had room 102, well, more like a suite actually) massive bedroom, with TV including English channels and SKY. A large kitchenette/lounge with another TV, microwave and full size fridge. Good clean shower room and daily replenished bottles of water. The comfortable lounge area has two laptops with connected printer and good free Wi-Fi, with no pesky login everywhere. There is underground parking, and is easy to find, being on a main road in the area. The restaurant is both affordable and with great quality food which seems popular with the locals (say no more!) I leave the best till last, the staff, friendly is selling them short, they couldn't do enough for me, put up with my bad Italian, and spoke pretty good English. Wether as a business base, or as a hub from which to explore a beautiful part of a beautiful country, you could do a lot worse than this hotel. …
We stayed at Hotel Massimino for three days. The location is very convenient to Aguillara Sabazia lake front, Trevignano, and Bracciano. The room was clean, bright and pleasant. The staff is very warm, welcoming and friendly. The food was great. All together - everything was outstanding. If you're going to be visiting the area, the Hotel Massimino is the place to stay.
This was a very nice hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were large and modern. Very comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Dinner in the adjoining restaurant was superb. Lots of parking.
