Set in the centre of a traditional wine-making village in the unspoilt Languedoc region of the south of France, Cinq & Sept is only 25 minutes' drive from the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, and 50 minutes from France's second 'gay capital' - Montpellier. Cinq & Sept offers you 9 luxurious, self-catering suites each with a complete kitchen, en-suite shower room, sitting area and dining area. The accommodation at Cinq & Sept is set within a grand 18th century 'maison bourgeoise'. Please note that Cinq & Sept is exclusively for gay guests (male & female) from the 1st May - end of October each year. Outside these we dates we welcome everybody.

What a pleasant time we had at this beautiful place. Alex and Greg are the perfect hosts and make you feel more than welcome. Rooms, atmosphere, food, all is spot on. The pool area is nice and clean. Enough possibilities to socialize but also to have your own private time here. The area outside Cinq et Sept has a nice variety of things to do. We come back for sure!

It‘s really hard to find a good gay-only place in Europe but this one definitely stands out in the most positive sense, be it place, location, hospitality, etc. The owners make one feel comfortable from the first minute and do not only provide lot of entertainment/socializing options in the hotel but also provide fantastic and detailed information about popular and less known sightseeing spots or activities in the surrounding. Although 5&7 is managed in the most professional way it also leaves an impression of being part of a family. It was a really fantastic week and I already know that I’m going to return!

The kindness of the owners, the attention of the personnel, and also how the place and activities are organised, it’s making this place so special that it could be considered a paradise on Earth. You can have lovely cocktails during the evening by the pool, amazing dinners with other customers who are becoming friends, winery tasting, and also other activities around the gorgeous Languedoc area, like kayaking or beach. Rooms are comfortable and cosy, including a complete kitchen, with spectacular views of the town and the pool, which is surrounded by the bar, lavender, bamboo and other local bushes, creating a unique atmosphere. Definitely, the place to be for chilling out, meeting new people, work from home, or just enjoying a time out of the routine. You choose what you want. Paradise on Earth.

I’ve had the best vacation in this beautiful 18th century townhouse. Alex and Greg &team make you feel very welcome and comfortable, even if you’re a single traveler you feel right at home. The organised events are recommendable as you get to meet the other guests easily then. Definitely going back soon!

We had booked a third and much anticipated return to Cinq et Sept, but obviously 2020 had slightly different ideas. From the outset and months back, the owners Greg and Alex dealt with all our uncertainties with fairness, balance and information. That continued until the moment we were fortunate enough to be able to knock on that door in Roujan in the last week of July 2020 and realise our paradise was not at all lost. Returning to much loved vacation boltholes for a third time is often a gamble anywhere you go. But the momentum of detail, attention and hospitality hasn't changed in the slightest at Cinq et Sept. With new staff, new dining options and new guests, the energy that made two guys here fall in love with Cinq et Sept four years ago is still very much growing and evolving - and all the correct direction. The skill of this gaycation gem is how C&S is always there for the lone traveller or couple to 100% explore their thing. There is no compunction to get involved with the lush pizza nights, the cannily curated Monday Night Dinner and the Saturday Pool Party. But when you do you realise one of the burgeoning glories of C&S is the mix of new guests, returning guests and friendship guests. Alex and Greg have not just created and nurtured a high-end gay traveller haven and home. They have created a wider community of global friends, local friends and neighbour friends. None of this intrude on any form of stay at C&S, but it does underline the valuable sense of community and shorthand a gay stay in Roujan gives to all visitors. The creative, intelligent and inventive massage we both had with their visiting masseur Pierre was worth the ticket fee alone. And that is before we factor in all the conversations, laughs, advice, wine and company imparted by that most special of pools. Much recommended. And we've been saying that since our first night four years ago.
