We had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel. The room had its own terrace and air con (which we loved as it was so hot). The hotel is a lovely old building and very interesting. The best part of our stay was the meal though. Vincent as a very lovely host and cooked us a delicious 3 course vegetarian meal which really was tasty and could not be faulted, it was also really interesting food! I wanted to stay another night just to eat there again! We even went to the shop he recommended to buy the most amazing smoked salt 😃 Overall a really pleasant stay in a lovely old host with friendly owners and great food!

Dear Mr. Walters, We thank you very much for this nice review. I and Vincent are really happy to read that you enjoyed your special meal. It was for us a challenge to cook a nice vegetarian meal. So this comment is really nice to read ! We are also glad to see that you loved our new deluxe suite with Jacuzzi and its own terrace. We hope to welcome you in the future. Kindest regards, Stephanie and Vincent.

We had four nights here and felt that the excellent reviews did not match the experience. This is not a hotel, as we were immediately told when asking if we could leave luggage outside of the check-in time. It is locked shut between 12,00 and 2.00pm. It is a B&B with only 5 bedrooms and does not offer the luxury services the cost implies. Our room was on the ground floor with a small window into an internal courtyard. It had net curtains but all lights had to be on to use the room, so then the curtains had to be closed. With only fans to cool the room it soon got hot, but when we opened the window we had someone put their head all the way through and stare in. Clearly we were unlucky, but the window could not be securely part-opened, so we always felt hot in gloomy surroundings The bathroom was reasonable, but in no way luxurious. The tile grout needed bleaching, the toilet seat did not fit properly, the shower was not thermostatic and was poorly affixed. The bedroom had nice furniture, but it needed refurbishing. Almost all the upstairs open-air terrace furniture needed refurbishment. The front of the 'hotel' looks more like the rear, but has an inner steel gate for security that needs a key to open, even from the inside. I saw no emergency lighting or fire sensors so in the event of an emegency I would be concerned for the occupants. We did not eat here as the lure of the bakeries and cafes for breakfast was too great and the local restauarnts for lunch and dinner were very good too. All that said, the bed was huge and comfortable, the two people we met running it were charming and the position is perfect. We just needed a much lower expectation.

My Friend had won a Visit to a Vineyard and we chose this Hotel. We paid for Transfer from Montpellier and the Hotel owner met us at the Airport with a very friendly Welcome. The Hotel is a traditional Building in a quiet Street. The Young Lady who showed us around spoke very good English and we were delighted with all the facilities in our Suite. Ceiling and Floor Fans are installed. Continental Breakfast with a lovely selection of items. Beds were very comfortable. We bought a lovely Wine for our last Evening from the selection that the Hotel sold. Pezanas is a really interesting Town with a big selection of Restaurants and Shops. The Toy Museum is very interesting too. Everyone was very friendly and many spoke English but we managed with a little French too. Highly recommended and I am looking at staying here next year. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed here for one night on my way through to Barcelona by bicycle. Nice little hotel, good communal indoor living area plus a small roof terrace. The proprietor is a good chef. My only slight negative is that I think it's slightly overpriced. Aside from that, would recommend.

We hope this review will be treated as it is intended. As constructive criticism. First the good parts; it is very close to the town and Vincent is an excellent cook - He prepared a beautiful meal for our wedding anniversary; Stephanie was also kind enough to source champagne and flowers for our anniversary. Now the not so good parts; our arrival was a little chaotic and Stephanie didn’t seem to be ready for our arrival. So we were given no information in terms of restaurants/places to park etc and the information we were promised on arrival arrived on our 3rd day; our room was directly below the breakfast room and we could here footsteps and the coffee machine going whilst we were in our room; the cleaning wasn’t great and mostly consisted of the bed being made every day; and finally check out was a farce - it took 30 minutes in 30 degree plus heat and the only breakdown of price we got was scribbled onto a piece of paper. I also think the room we got was slightly over priced at over €1,000 for 6 nights on a room only basis. The room was also very dark and didn’t seem to match the photos on the website. The parking is said to be free but it is not and it can be hard to park depending on time of day. Parking is also payable overnight and at weekends and public holidays. The owners have been in the property since November and I’m sure when they find the time to put their own stamp on things these and other issues will be things of the past.

Dear Mr. Mrs. T. Thank you for taking time after coming back home to review your stay in our bed and breakfast. Vincent and I are very happy to see that you appreciated your wedding anniversary and the dinner we served you. We just wanted to add some informations about the "not so good parts" you mentioned. We always are especially welcoming for our guests and we are very disappointed to see that you felt unwelcome and unexpected when you arrived. When arrival, I felt that you were tired and not to give you too much information, let you have a rest not to bother you. Vincent, Lena or me, are always here to give some advise about Pézenas, its restaurants etc... We only see you two days after as you were our early and came back late. This time, as you were having dinner in our table d'hôtes, we got some time to speak together. About the place to park, I send to every guest before arrival (even you) the same message to let them know where to park their car as we do not have private parking place. I sent you on June 20th a message about the checkin time and I mentioned my recommandation for parking. You were free not to park there as it is not a free parking. We never mentioned on the website you booked with, that the parking was free of charge. We only mentioned : parking in the street. We are not the owners of those parking spaces. And in most of the city, you have to pay when you park your car. Concerning the check out, as I told you when we spoke together with your wife, I was sure you left on Saturday, that's why the invoice wasn't ready on time. You absolutely wanted an invoice as you needed to go, so Lena (our new help) did her best to give you something, but I sent it by email very quickly after, didn't I ? Weather was extremely hot it is true, but unfortunately this is one detail I can't deal with. Concerning the room, I would have been able to help you, maybe in offering you another suite in our house. After departure, unfortunately we can't help. Suite Alsace is our best seller room, in this peak season 170 Euros / night for 33 m2 suite, is a very reasonable price. You are right on a point, Alsace suite is under the dining room. Unfortunately we have an old house with 18th century walls and tiles that we absolutely respect and do not want to cover. Everyday, rooms are done : bed, toilets, etc... We change the sheets every 4 nights. Were you expecting us to change everyday everything ? Because even in 5 stars hotels they don't. Hotel de Vigniamont is an old building with its good and bad points. We are sorry that you only note the bad points. Stéphanie and Vincent
