Atii is really close to the beach - you walk there in a few minutes, you essentially just have to walk around one of the bigger hotels that's right on the beach. There's plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity, most of them at the beach. We had absolutely no problem with Atii not having a pool, but for us a pool is definitely not a must.
