We had such an amazing time at the Sofitel. The food was amazing and so accomodating of dietary requirements. A special mention goes out to the staff at the Waitui Beach Club. Paulini, Kata and Ghedian were so friendly and accomodating. We couldn’t have asked for better service. We would highly recommend to anyone.

I recently had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality at the Sofitel Fiji. It is the staff that make a hotel memorable. I wanted to make special mention of Mili from Reception and also Amanda from the Waitui Beach Club who were extraordinary. They went above and beyond for us. Nothing was too much trouble and made us all feel so very special. The hotel is lucky to have them both on their team.

I have never felt more welcomed into a resort as we were here. The staff are amazing, and genuinely seem to love their jobs. Every staff member we came in contact with was absolutely beautiful- from reception, to wait staff & cleaners. Even remembering my eldest sons name- which made him feel so incredibly special. The resort itself is beautiful, so clean, amazing grounds and pool & resteraunts. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Sofitel. The staff are all so welcoming, happy, friendly and kind and get to know you on a personal level. We stayed there for 4 nights and the radisson blu for 4 nights. We wish we had stayed our whole trip at Sofitel. We really noticed the difference between the 2 of them. We had our wedding at the Sofitel, big shout out to Selia who organised everything and was very helpful, Evelyn and Oswald (such a legend who took some amazing photos for us. Thanks team, we really appreciated it!

Outstanding. The staff are something special. Personable, warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Kata, Romeo, Amanda, Paulini, and so many others I hate not listing them. Tipping never suggested and we didn't offer any, and the warmth of the staff was genuine. Room service was lightening fast , with food hot and fresh. We stayed at the Beach Club but spent some time around the main pool and there were plenty of kids but no distraction. Would have loved to stay longer.

We stayed in March 2023 during the wet season. Sofitel is one of about 5 resorts on Denarau island. It is one of the smaller resorts but better for it. Rooms are only a short walk to all facilities including pool, restaurants, bars & activities. Most rooms have sea views. The resort was renovated during Covid-19 so all facilities & rooms appear new. On the whole it is a very pleasant place to be with very good restaurants, facilities and a 10 minute walk to Denarau Marina.

The food in buffet breakfast is very good and that’s all about it. Staff at valet, bell boy, will make sure to give you cold shoulder if you don’t tip them. In the two days I stayed with Sofitel, we had this unpleasant experience when we booked a taxi ourself and not through the hotel valet. They start murmuring in Fijian language, making our stay very distasteful pledging never to return to Sofitel, absolutely mannerless. Did not expect all this from a reputed brand like Sofitel and specially when they charge you 600$ per night for a room with no frills. For God’s sake have basic respect for your clients, treat them well regardless of whether or not they pay you tips.
