There is a Hot Tub suite, a one-bedroom apartment, and a 3 bedroom apartment. On location we have a full-service restaurant, open 7 days a week serving excellent quality meals, an Internet Cafe/Espresso Bar, and a gift shop. There is an outdoor pool and Hot Tub. We have guest laundry facilities. Our property has been totally renovated in 2006. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service with a relaxing home away from home attitude.

I was expecting a lot worse, so was pleasantly surprised. We were not allowed to check in 30 mins early but they did let us park in the lot and ride the bus in to Zion. Shuttle stop is just a few minutes walk in either direction. Located in the heart of Springdale with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is undergoing a renovation so I believe only half of it was open. The building opposite ours had large dumpsters and was taped off to park at. We had room 103 (it ended up being the handicapped room) and seemed to be updated. Spent the afternoon at the pool but hot tub was broken. No breakfast (but from what I’ve read, we didn’t miss much). A little loud as we were right at the bottom of the stairs and could hear everyone dragging their stuff up and down. Air conditioning only worked for a minute as some other have said, but it wasn’t too warm when we were there so we just turned it to fan and that stayed on all night. Overall, for the time we actually spent in the room this was fine. Location is everything.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The reception was closed when we arrived at 4.30 pm had to wait ages, were served by staff who didn't care. Rooms were old, cramped and dark. The price included breakfast but all you got was a breakfast bag to take out, no where to eat it or get a coffee to go with it. An apple, yogurt and disgusting frozen potato burrito - inedible. Give this hotel a miss and chose another. It is way over priced for what is on offer.

The room was nice and cozy, and the views were pretty nice, but it wasn’t worth the cost at all. This hotel is way too expensive and because of that I wouldn’t recommend. Also, the breakfast was a joke.

Extremely friendly staff. Great service! We stayed here for one night during Zion NP visit. All was great, clean room and friendly staff. Facilities are well maintained and beds are super soft. Great value for money by all means. Will come again!

The AC was working 3 minutes every 1/2 hour, useless when it is 38 degrees + outside. The breakfast, included in the price, was a real joke and uneatable. The room small and the bathroom needless to say frankly small (don’t be too big). No ice available. Receptionist did not understand what an invoice meant and why it may be useful to the customers. Overall, no attention or care to the customers. They seem to live on the geography, i.e. by the Zion NP entrance Do not recommend.

Stayed 3 nights at the Pioneer - which is partially cordoned off following a fire last year. Very helpful reception, thanks Julia. First floor room, not much more than a basic motel, which is a bit tired and an old noisy AC unit. Bathroom sink was the kitchen sink - which is not great imo. Car parking on site and centrally located in Springdale - which I suppose is what you’re paying for.

Don't stay here. It was gross. This is what I would expect for $60 a night , but I paid almost 4x that amount for one night! Every hotel in Springdale was expensive when I booked, but this was the lesser of most. I totally should have paid a bit more for a different hotel; I regret not doing that because this place should not be open for business. I have SO MANY COMPLAINTS about it. Too many to write. Just take my word and do yourself a favor and book a different place to stay. If you need more details I can give them, but if you want a nice, clean place to rest your head, this is not your place.

We just stayed in this hotel over the Easter weekend. I agreed to a higher price than I would normally pay because is was a holiday and I was told we would have breakfast provided. Breakfast was a tiny frozen burrito that we had to microwave ourselves and the smallest apple I've ever seen. This grab and go service was only available between 8-9, which meant we missed out 2/3 mornings. We stayed here for the close access to the park and hiking and wanted to be on the trails early. There was a total lack of even trying to provide what they promised. All of the images on the website must be years old. This place is run down and the establishment do not seem to be doing anything to fix it up. The panels of the kitchen drawer fell off in my hand. The towel rack had to be put back together several times. They didn't even try to paint over the patches in the wall. The 'picnic area' is one bench and a BBQ in the parking lot- only one parking spot away was the dumpster. The pool... they said it was closed for the season... it was so dirty, I can not imagine that the season will open up any time soon. The washer dryer was out of order, drinks machine in the lobby was out of order, and ash trays were left all over the balcony. The staff at the front desk seemed completely uninterested in being there or helping in any way. I left my jacket in the room when we left. I called and emailed the following day and got no response. I went in and got it back from the cleaning crew, but the front desk were completely unhelpful and unresponsive. I think charging full price and advertising the amenities in this way is completely unethical. DO NOT STAY HERE. There are so many cute places near by.

I'll start off with the good. The location is great and very close to to Zion's entry. You can even walk to restaurants and the Springdale laundromat. Now for the rest. Our family was on a road trip. We specifically picked this place because the website advertises laundry on site and breakfast. When we tried to do laundry both machines were broken! The front desk wasn't sure if they worked or not and so had to put our clothes and detergent in before we can determine if they worked. They refunded us and then we ended up walking across the street to do laundry at the laundromat. The website also advertises breakfast. This is a grab and go breakfast and is only from 8-9am! However, if you want to hike before they shut down the road, you need to be there by 7:30am at the latest (we were there before the shuttles started which means you drive your own car. They shut down the entry once the lots are full). Also WiFi was weak.
