Hotel's Favourite
We recently stayed here for one night during a two-week-long road trip from our home in southeastern PA out to visit Utah’s national parks. As Hilton Honors Diamond members, we are very familiar with Hamptons and have come to rely upon the amenities and features of the brand. This particular hotel exceeded our expectations and was our favorite hotel the entire trip!
Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable and had great mountain views.
Our beds were comfortable, with nice linens, and our bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries. (We do miss having a towel bar at the sink to hang up our hand towels—a common oversight at Hamptons.) We were pleased with the hotel’s complimentary breakfast, which offered the usual options with a nice variety and plentiful seating.
Where this Hampton really excelled was customer service, which was outstanding, from manager Justin texting us to ask how things were with our room, to the front desk staff member loading us up with waters and snacks for our visit to Zion, to welcoming us to use the breakfast room to eat our take-out dinner after our visit to Zion before hitting the road. Best of all, we had been permitted to leave our car in the hotel parking lot after we checked out that morning, which saved us from finding and paying for parking in town. (The hotel is located right by a shuttle stop, so it was super convenient.)
There was a very accommodating vibe here that we really appreciated. Wish every Hampton—and every hotel—were like this place! (The icing on the cake was that we paid with HH points, so our room was free.) All in all, we had a very good experience staying here and highly recommend this hotel!

From booking to checkout, everything about the Hampton at Zion's was above expectation.
Price: I was able to use my AAA discount for a 106/night cost and it included an outdoor pool, breakfast and free parking.
Breakfast: Speaking of breakfast, it was amazing. Completely COVID compliant AND delicious! I feared they would have cut corners on value/taste/quality due to contstraints but I was impressed with options of cold pressed fresh juice, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, cereal cup options, Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, bagels and the like. Plus, the cleanliness was top-notch.
Customer Service: Was above and beyond without question. When we first arrived they were busy helping other guests figure out their bill and the other computer wasn't working for a short time. I asked for recommendations on a place to eat and then we would come back to check-in. They heard my qualifications for dinner and responded with options that totally fit the bill! We returned and checked in without hassle. My request for a bed linen set was filled as was the need for hot water (hand delivered and COVID compliant!) after I asked if they had any other flavor of tea bags. They also had hot chocolate for the kiddos. And when my second request came for another linen set when my other child opted to sleep on the floor they came through again in no time.
Room: We were next to the elevator which worried me but it wasn't a problem at all. Linens and beds were super cozy and we all slept great! The fridge and microwave were great options to make popcorn and keep our leftovers from dinner cold.
Pool: It only had two other kids in it so we were able to keep socially distant and have a blast in it and the hot tub.
Location: This hotel is located perfectly within easy walk to restaurants and shops and you could walk, although it's a ways or bike easily to the park entrance. We drove and parked at the visitors center (we waited about five minutes for a spot to open up at 10am) Note: get tickets to ride the shuttle around the park the day before you want to go.
Overall, a great stay and we loved coming in November. Not as crowded and not as hot. The color of the leaves and having them fall all around us during our hike was note-worthy.

This was my third year staying at the Hampton Inn and suites in Springdale Utah!
I must start by saying that the hotel went above and beyond to keep us safe from COVID. Every part of the facility was very clean. We especially appreciated a great breakfast. They have gloves and hand sanitizer available for Guests plus they had individually packaged all of the breakfast items so that you could fix your own great breakfast in a lunch bag and either return to your room or an outside table to enjoy.
Our room was clean, large and spacious plus very comfortable.
The front desk staff was all very helpful, including loaning us hiking sticks since the TSA at the airport took ours away! They were also very accommodating with a couple other special needs.
The location is perfect, within walking distance of many restaurants shops and a shuttle stop is just a few feet out the front door.
We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub. Again everything was very clean and social distanced.
The hotel is surrounded by the scenic mountains. A beautiful view from almost anywhere in the hotel. The second floor has two balconies to enjoy which is definitely a nice bonus!
I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there on my next trip to Springdale Utah.

This hotel is in such a beautiful location. The rooms were nice and clean and typical of a Hampton Inn. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. The rooms look out over the majestic red rock cliffs.
The pool is fairly large and there is a HOT hot tub to soak in after a long day of hiking in Zion.
With COVID, there were changes to the free breakfast, but the selections were still great. There were gloves at the front of the breakfast area for your use and bags to put your food in and take with you. There were a few things that needed to be microwaved but be aware you will have to take those to your room. Breakfast was set up with the utmost safety in mind.
The location in town is right by shuttle stop 6 if you are planning on taking the shuttle.
Definitely a prime place to stay when visiting Zion National Park.

This was a wonderful place to stay whilst visiting Zion NP. The staff were courteous and friendly, the room was spacious with a great view of the Watchman, it was cleaned well and re-stocked every day, beds were very comfortable. The shuttle bus to the NP Visitor Center and Zion was right outside enabling us to leave our car in the car park for the duration of our stay. On to breakfast - good choice of dishes which were topped up quickly and the tables were quickly cleaned between guests. It was also nicely decorated with lovely views outside. But the reason I have given this a top rating was the fact that they provided dairy free spread and ...... drum roll ..... soy milk. Why can’t all Hamptons do this? It makes all the difference to those of us who don’t/can’t eat dairy. Coming from the UK and this being our third visit to Zion I don’t suppose we will return but can thoroughly recommend to other visitors.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Hampton Inn. They did a fantastic job with breakfast during these unusual times. We each put on disposable gloves in order to get our food and put it in a to go bag. You needed new gloves to get coffee. We each got a new bottle of water every morning:
My husband left his battery charger for his spinal cord stimulator. It costs $3700 to replace. He knew where he left it in our room. He called the hotel and they called him back when housekeeping found it. They mailed it via Priority Mail in a box to arrive in 2 days. We did reimburse them. They went above and beyond to help us. Kudos to them.

Great property located near South Entrance Zion National Park. The hotel is updated/new, great breakfast with lots of healthy choices (sweet greens juice, carrots, boiled eggs, peanut butter, ham/egg/cheese English muffins, cereal, oatmeal, etc. Lovely pool, fire pits and hit tub. The hotel also does a good job dealing with current pandemic guidelines. What makes this Hampton stand out is the front desk staff!!! They go over and above to deliver exceptional service. I was with a high maintenance friend, they answered her 50,000 questions with a smile on their face, brought her extra towels to the room, extra water, etc. No matter the time of day or night the front desk staff was always smiling, welcoming and ready to assist with pleasure. Kudos to the front desk Hampton staff in a time when true excellent customer service is rare!

We stayed here for two night after spending one night at the Hampton Inn & Suites in St George Utah. What a difference a Hampton makes. The St George Hampton Inn & Suites was completely different. This location didn't have as many amenities or the service culture of the St, George location.
St George - Hampton Inn
Hot Breakfast
Acknowledged me as a Diamond Member
Everyone had a proper face covering aka face mask
Exceptionally clean
Laundry bag
Well positioned and obvious Diamond Parking Signage
Coffee available all day
Proactively told about breakfast, Wifi code, where the elevator was at check in
4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, 4 wash clothes
Make up remover towelette (nice touch)
Coat rack (nice touch)
Every team member acknowledged us throughout our stay
Replied to my text via the Hilton app
Allowed me to check out on my own via the Hilton app
Springdale aka Zion - Hampton Inn
Not acknowledged as a Diamond Member
Had to ask about breakfast times, WiFi code and where the elevator was
Cold breakfast in a brown bag
2 bath towels (remember they don't service your room every day)
No coffee during the day
No Laundry bag
No make up remover towelette
No coat rack
Poor Diamond Member Parking Signage (sign is too short to notice)
Gal at front desk had a clear plastic face mask that didn't completely cover her nose and mouth and this made us uncomfortable and was surprised that management would allow this type of mask
Hearing impaired door bell did not work
No acknowledged as we walked by team members throughout our stay
Terrace cushions had stains on them and there were no wipes available on the terrace to wipe down the furniture before using.
The thing that upset me the most is that I got an email from them at 2:20 AM checking me out and included my invoice. I have stayed at many Hilton properties and I have never experienced this before. This just confirmed for me that this location is not customer centric, it made me feel like they couldn't wait for me to leave. Please allow your guests to check out the way they want to check out (app, phone, in person) and when they want to check out!

+1
We had a pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Springdale. The hotel was fine and conveniently located just outside Zion National Park. Although there was nothing particularly fancy about the hotel, it was fairly new, clean, and pleasant. The exterior and lobby decor made for a fun atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the hotel did have fairly thin walls, and it was noisy at night. The bedding was at best okay. Additionally, the rooms were lit with 5000K LED light bulbs. This produces a very white light, which is similar to a fluorescent light bulb with a cool color temperature. A warmer color temperature would provide for a more pleasant and home-like experience.
Overall, the Hampton Inn & Suites is one of the nicest hotels in Springdale, and I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Zion National Park.

We loved our stay at this hotel! Right from the start the ladies at the front desk were so welcoming and cheerful! I was also happily surprised when the front desk asked if we would like daily cleaning services! Ever since COVID a lot of hotels have cut back on that amenity! We got a 2nd floor room with a great view of the red rocks from our windows! The room itself was very clean and beds were very comfortable. We never had any noise issues with any neighbors or in the hallway! Parking was very easy and ample! The location of the hotel itself is great as well as it is less than a 10 min drive to the park entrance or a 5 min walk to the springdale shuttle stop!
We loved the hot breakfast as well! Every morning breakfast was different and the quality was pretty good! Again because of COVID a lot of hotels have changed to brown bag breakfasts and I specially chose this hotel because the reviews spoke highly of their hot breakfast! There was even a a nice assortment of hiking snacks that also changed daily! I also liked that in the lobby there was a spot to refill my water bottle with some refreshing ice water!
The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The lobby is beautiful and their back area has the pool with the red rock background! There’s even a BBQ, fire pit, and tables for you to enjoy the view at breakfast or sunset. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for all of its amenities it provides, especially during COVID. The location is great and staff is very friendly!

There is a shuttle stop in front of the hotel. That's your best bet. If you head in just before it opens, there should be parking inside the gate, but it fills up usually within the first hour. All the major tourist spots are not accessible by car, to limit congestion and accidents...hence the shuttle. Hikes are everywhere and at all skill levels. So take the shuttle to a trailhead, hike, get back on the bus to the next trailhead, etc. The most popular hike is "The Narrows", which is pretty much a full day adventure...but this time of year the water will be almost freezing. Can't really dress warm, since you will likely be half or full submerged depending on the depth of the river. If taking the shuttle, be sure to get back on time. If you miss the last one, you will be hoofing it several miles back to your hotel. You and a few hundred others will all have the same goal, so don't try to cut it close. The hotel entrance is NOT a comfortable walking distance, especially if starting your day. There are ample restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel though.
Breakfast was available early enough to eat and get out to catch the first bus up to the park. It got us there before the booths were open and we were able to simply walk in and catch the park bus to the top of the park and were in the Narrows by 8am
I don't know since we didn't have one with us.
It's 1.5 hr. away.
