My wife and I stayed here May 2023 as the last stop on our tour through Utah's Mighty 5 parks and it was a great base from which to explore Zion. Our room (524) was large, comfortable and equipped with all amenities we needed to prep breakfast and lunch so that we could make the most of our days in the park. The location was excellent as not only was it less than a 5 minute walk (door-to-door) to the visitor centre and canyon shuttle, but also supported by an on-site gift shop, outfitters, shopping market with all necessary groceries, pub/bar with good service and good (we'd recommend the Elk burger) + a really convenient coffee shop (Perks) serving excellent cold coffees (amongst other things) that were a welcome treat on returning to the site after a hot day of hiking. We loved the location so much, the first time we drove any further south through Springdale than the Spotted Dog (another dinner recommendation) was on leaving. Would recommend.

Hotel's Favourite
Absolutely loved Cable Mountain Lodge. Best location to visit Zion National Park, you can walk to the visitor center and hop on the park shuttle. Closest hotel to the park, situated just adjacent to the river and amazing rooms. The rooms are more like condos/apartment, kitchens with everything you need and super cute decor. Easy free parking, market, coffee shop, gear rental right in the same center. We didn’t have a chance to use it, but, the pool/spa area looked amazing. We loved this place, not one negative thing to say, we will definitely be back for a longer stay!!!

This was a nice, clean hotel. The room was spacious and well equipt. The location to Zion was remarkable. Shuttles going to town and a short walk to the one in Zion. The hot tub was awesome after a day of hiking. Close a store, pub and coffee shop. I would recommend it to anyone.

Where do I begin?? First time to Utah and the National parks. I wanted convenience in going to Zion National Park so we chose Cable Mountain Lodge. What a wonderful lodge!!! We had a King studio room. So spacious! Refrigerator, microwave, plenty of storage, huge bathroom and the view!! We sat on our porch during the evenings! If I could give more than 10 stars I would! The rooms were so quiet, great little grocery store we used for breakfasts and lunch and the brewery was great. The best part, after walking all day in the park, you could walk across the bridge and go to your room. No waiting for another shuttle! Stay at Cable Mountain Lodge, you won't regret it!!!!

This is THE PLACE to stay if you are planning a trip to ZION. Staff was very helpful, rooms feel more like condos. The rooms are very comfortable and welcoming. Staff was very helpful throughout our stay. Laundry facilities were excellent. Dining, shopping and bike/equipment rentals just steps away. Views from every window. We will be booking another stay in the future. Room 223.

We spent 3 nights at Cable Mountain Lodge in a Canyon Loft Residence. The views from our patio were spectacular and the room/property was amazing. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking with the differing colors on canyon walls and mountains. This is the last hotel before the park entrance so the location is unbeatable. The staff were very helpful in recommending places to eat and activities/trails to try.

I recently attended a writing workshop held at Cable Mountain Lodge. The staff was fantastic, and my hotel room was lovely (super comfy bed). The proximity to Zion was a wonderful perk - I was able to easily walk into the park for a hike after my workshop concluded. I really enjoyed my time! Special shout out to Holly, who was very welcoming to my mom (who tagged along with me). Holly showed my mom where to work in the business center before we were able to check into our room. Holly also called me when I left my airpods behind in the room and made sure they were mailed to me asap. Thanks, Holly!

Cable Mountain Lodge provided an exceptional experience for the “Voices for the West” writing conference! Staff were gracious and flexible hosts who accommodated our every need—including a last-minute extra workshop session—with promptness and finesse. The ballroom facilities are spacious and well-lit, with a useful divider for breaking out into smaller meetings. Catering was uncommonly fresh and prompt; staff resupplied generously as needed. I highly recommend Cable Mountain Lodge to anyone planning an event or conference. These folks provide a relationship-based standard of excellence hard to come by in a tourist destination—truly top-notch.

Generously proportioned, cosy, warm suites with excellent kitchenette and dining space. Very comfy beds, views to die for and the staff were outstanding. We had some small electrical issues which were quickly and quietly resolved with no inconvenience to ourselves. Unbeatable location as it is adjacent to the pub, shop and Watchman trail. Plenty of parking for guests. Easy access to the scenic park drive for entrance to the park 300m from accommodation. Would highly recommend !
