This hotel was super close to everything we needed, and easy to Uber to/from anything else. Only complaint was the noise levels, we were on the second floor and the street noise and housekeeping storage room is always noisy.

The rate was somewhat expensive but the over all cleanliness and reliability regarding staff is a plus. Despite the money hungry bellman holding my one backpack that won’t take up the entire room charging me $2.00 holding fee is ridiculous as I have already spent $225 on a room they wanted to charge me an extra $2 to hold my bag. Anyone having issues with these charges may call their union rep 808 941-2141. This I will be posting on TripAdvisor, kayak and all other 3 party marketing advisors webpages. Over all, my stay was the best out of all other hotel competitors. The staff here are more pleasant, friendlier, nothing but the best attitude given from them. I felt at ease and pleased with the room I got. Oversized for just one person lol couldn’t ask for the best when I already got the best. Mahalo nui guys. This hotel was more than what we were expecting. It is at the far end of Waikiki which means it is quiet. it is pretty much at the base of Diamond Head. Bus stops are very close also. The pool/restaurant area has an awesome view of Diamond Head. Beach chairs and towels were always available to take to the beach. The beach is only a block away from the hotel and if you are interested the Zoo is right across the street. The is a cafe in the lobby has good coffee but if you want there is a Starbucks less than a block away towards the beach. The hotel is decorated nicely as well. They have other services that we did not use. Check in was easy and the people were very polite. In fact, everyone at the hotel was nice. We did not use room service or housekeeping during our stay but whenever we saw them in the hallways they always asked if we needed anything or fresh towels. When we used the restaurant, the service was really good. Fast and friendly. They knew the menu well, and when asked about preferences they did not disappoint. If we go back to Hawaii/Waikiki, we would definitely stay here again! …

Just be aware that you're not seeing the smallest and darkest rooms in the photos. There's one room overlooking the vast roof of a building. There's another so small you can barely walk across between the foot of the bed and the window. It's not cozy, and the hotel will try to give you those rooms first if you book at the lower price. Then they'll offer you the rooms you see in the pics for the higher price. That's the game, so no surprise, but heads up.

Cheaper than a lot of hotels on waikiki and yet one of the best in my opinion. It is well situated, the view from the room windows is beautiful, it is very clean, there is a very wary warm ambiance and the staff is amazing. Great aloha spirit! Trust me, you will love your stay in this hotel just like I did (twice!).

We did our wedding block at Queen Kapiolani. It was great! Everyone working there was so thoughtful and kind. Valet was a breeze. We took advantage of their beach chairs and towels all the time. Walking distance to all that Waikiki offers. Their coffee shop was great and the dole whip was so refreshing. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Itzia and Julie for helping us stay here.

Cute room with a little couch perfect for my 3 days alone to enjoy Waikiki. Located walking distance from beach and shops and it was nice that it was toward the less commercial end of the beach so if you walked SE you could find some less touristy beaches. But there is coffee right there in the lobby and the restaurant ,Deck, has great options for room service or seated dining, all 3 meals.

I get paid to fly for a living. As a flight attendant, we look for comfort, but just as important: Location Location Location. Close to public transport, restaurants, attractions. This place ticked off allll those Musts and more! It's right across the beautiful park, and you can hear the animals in the zoo! Become a member! A nice stroll down to the beach, and the locals pier. Beach us a little quieter on this end, and it's a perfect spot every night to camp out and watch The most perfect sunset. On your way back to the hotel, stop by ABC and grab some fresh cut pineapple to enjoy on your balcony while you watch the sun come up over Diamond Head. And the beautiful local birds come from the park to join you. Consider yourself in Paradise! The public transport is right out the front door, but its location is perfect to stroll to many places. Location is key, 1-1/2 from Waikiki beach. If you rented a car, it’s easy access in and out. Rooms average size and in decent shape for older hotel. Our house keeper Ming was Amazing, everyone should strive to be this good! She’s always happy and helpful!!

We booked our room last minute after needing to leave a bad air bnb. They got us a beautiful room no problem and we’re so kind about our situation. We even got a delicious local pineapple juice to enjoy while we checked in. The property is beautiful and open. The room is gorgeous and very clean. The restaurant, coffee shop, and pool are all great. The third floor can get a little loud but everything closes at a decent time and quiets down. We love the mid century Hawaii decor. Great place to stay and will definitely return.
