The Hotel is good, But the staff is GREAT. I’ll admit, I travel enough that I am. Bit picky about my room. I normally stay at HHV when in Waikiki but they were full and this was the only Hilton property I could get a room for my two and a half week stay. I knew the hotel was full, but I asked the staff for a better room. They were very nice about it and so accommodating. They gave me exactly what I asked for. Suzy and Bygan did a great job. So did the gentleman when I checked in. It may be a little older, but it is right in the heart of Waikiki with plenty of great food close by. It is clean and they do great service.

This is a review of the amazingly talented receptionist who took my call while I was following up on a reservation I made online. Her name was Tessa. She was incredibly kind efficient and professional. She demonstrated all of the amazing client experience qualities I’ve come to know and appreciate from Hilton hotels. It isn’t often that you speak to someone on the phone who exudes a brands promise so affectively as Tessa did. My daughter who was born in Hawaii 17 years ago and is returning to the island at the beginning of August to explore the land she was born in, makes this trip so special to us. Tessa was able to capture the sentiment of that special trip and Taylor her language and her tone on the call to one of empathy and excitement for us. It made us feel like we were talking to a friend and not a business. Really great hotel with a nice restaurant, convenience store, and concierge services. We were able to get surfboards at a Kuhio beach surf shop for 2 hours a day for free. The hotel also has a car rental counter for trips around O'ahu. We're really grateful for Paul at the front desk - he was very kind and helped us out quite a bit. Thanks!

We stay here every time we visit Waikiki, it’s a couple blocks from the beach and shopping is all around. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is friendly. Tee was our room attendant and he was phenomenal!!! He always made sure we had plenty of necessities and frequently checked in on us. If you stay here, hopefully you’ll get lucky enough to have him tend to your room. I’ll be asking for his floor next time we visit.

My sister and I enjoyed a beautiful ocean view (obstructed by buildings closer to the ocean). Our room was very comfortable and had a huge shower. The hotel has a lovely pool with comfy lounge chairs and a poolside bar.

First of all, the hotel housekeeping is very impressive. No matter how chaotic you leave the room, you'll come back clean and tidy. They organize and replenish the towels, remove the trash, and make the bed clean. However, the unfortunate thing about this hotel is that it needs people who can understand languages other than English. For the convenience of travelers from non-English speaking countries, it would be nice to have a concierge that can communicate in multiple languages. Overall, I think the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Hotel was the best choice for my trip to Hawaii. If I consider additional visits in the future, I will definitely choose the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Hotel.

The hotel is based downtown right amongst a lot of the busy stores. You can find tons of restaurant options. The beach is located about a five minute walk away. The rooms have been updated and present nicely. My room was overlooking the main street, but it was not too loud.

Great service all around from the minute I arrived. Housekeeping staff very efficient; Kona coffee in the rooms; Hotel bar staff the best. Front desk staff very accommodating. Rooms are comfortable and minutes from the beach.
