Hotel's Favourite
Best hotel in all of Hawaii - almost felt like Royalty. The hotel location was perfect for our romantic getaway that included golf, tennis, pickleball, shopping and ALOT of eating. This hotel is across the street from the Ala Moana mall, right next to a huge park (tennis, beach, surfing), and driving (and walking) distance to an endless list of wonderful restaurants (including 100 Sails breakfast). We usually stay in Maui with our kids but decided to be adventurous and stay in Honolulu for our Anniversary (sans Kids). We loved this trip so much that we booked our next trip before we left. The Prince Waikiki has definitely been the best hotel we have stayed in all of Hawaii. We have stayed in lovely Villas, condos, Four Seasons-Maui, Grand Wailea-Maui, Hilton Waikoloa-Big Island) and this is the winner when it comes to service and location. Our Oceanfront Suite had a breathtaking view of the Harbor and Ocean. My husband literally walked into the room and said "Wow!". Many, many years ago we decided to stay at the four seasons in Maui for our honeymoon. I had read about how amazing the service was there but we did not have that experience. We considered going back to Maui but are so happy that we chose to stay at this hotel in Honolulu. The service at the PW is top notch and every employee (and I mean EVERYONE) at this hotel was so kind and friendly. They truly displayed the spirit of Aloha. Our 1 Br suite was extremely spacious, bright, clean and had an amazing view from every window (floor to ceiling windows). We were able to watch the fireworks from the comfort of our room which was a plus because there was a slight drizzle that night. After the fireworks we walked a half a block to dinner (didn't have to fight the post fireworks traffic). Housekeeping came every day tho we opted to only use them every other day. There were two showers in our bathroom. Both were very spacious and one had a bath. The suite had two decent sized closets but drawer space was limited (only 2 drawers). There is a mini fridge, keuirig and a hot water kettle. There is a Honolulu coffee shop in the lobby (decent coffee) but the coffee served in 100 Sails for breakfast was better. The service and buffet/food at 100 Sails was amazing and delicious. I was just thinking about how the "made to order omelet" stations had gone away from hotels and voila their breakfast buffet had one. The concierge were super helpful in making dinner reservations and finding places to shop. We made sure to tip them when we checked out. Surprisingly (for a hotel so large and busy) their valet service was super efficient. We've stayed in hotels where the valet is so slow that we opt to self park. We almost chose to self park here but it was only $5 more to valet (plus tips) and well worth it. We only used the pool/jacuzzi once and it was nice and quiet. It was in the evening so that's probably why it was quiet. There's a poolside bar with live music which we hope to enjoy more on our next visit to the Prince Waikiki. No more Maui for us. Honolulu and Prince Waikiki is our fav island destination now. The only negative comment is not actually associated with the hotel. Our son told us we had to try Katsumidori (located on 1st floor of hotel). It was difficult to make a reservation and we're not sure why. The atmosphere and service was okay and the sushi was standard. We live in Seattle where we can always get fresh fish so maybe our standards for fresh fish/sushi are higher? Anyway, there are so many other amazing restaurants to try so venture out.

Amazing stay at Prince Waikiki. Staff is very nice and welcoming. The room was beautiful. Loved that the hotel and room were really clean. It’s a short walk from lagoon and beach. It’s walking distance from the mall. Great location!

My husband and I stayed at Prince Waikiki to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again. The room is a great size, the bathroom is great, the pool area is wonderful and the staff is great and helpful. The hotel is a little quieter than neighboring hotels and resorts, but an easy walk to the action and beach. The view from the room is absolutely beautiful! The only complaint I would have is the sound of neighbors opening and closing the sliding windows could be a bit annoying.

The prince Waikiki hotel is an amazing place. Very welcoming and just a sight to see. Rooms are very clean and well kept. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are content, to include texting you after the first night to be sure your needs are being met. Will be staying here again for sure.

This hotel is luxury at its best! I loved driving up to the hotel, it was grand and beautiful, may I include very clean! Checking in was a breeze, our room was ready and perfect size for my family of four. They do not have balconies, but they do have windows that open up and it's such a pleasure to have them open in the morning, look out at the ocean and watch the surfers catch some wave in the distance. Everyday we got back to our room, it was clean, bed was made, we reused our towels as this hotel is trying to go green with laundering daily. Beds were comfy, I just wish the pillows weren't so flat, I'd rather have some extra firm pillows that support my neck. The bathroom was awesome! There was a tub that my kids liked to soak in, the shower was great, especially the shampoo, conditioner and body wash handler on the wall, I was very impressed with that and ordered something similar for my own home! The toilet also had a built in bidet, let me tell you, it was my first time trying one of these and I also want to get one for each toilet in my own home! The pool was raging as we stayed Friday until Monday. Saturday and Sunday, there was a DJ from a certain time playing some cool upbeat jams, the waiters were super on it and quick with drinks and bringing out food ordered. The infinity pool was cool, as adults can only go in there. The jacuzzi was smaller but I'm happy there was one. The pool is basically all the same height about 3 feet and I just loved this. My kids could basically walk the whole pool and played with ease. We checked out the fitness room every morning, the equipment was great! Treadmills, elliptical, stationary bike, all kind of different weight machines, and a bunch of fitness equipment such as dumbbells and weighted balls, etc. We ate breakfast buffet at 100 Sails restaurant, it was super nice! Lots of different foods to chose from, I of course hit up the omelet station! We wanted to try the sushi restaurant but reservations was full, maybe next time I'll plan better and we could have either a lunch or dinner there next time. There are two stores in the lobby, it was nice because we could buy snacks and drinks to go, also they have clothing, accessories and more! Also I can't forget the coffee shop in the lobby as well! I can't tell you how much I love the smell of coffee, it just boost my energy! We had a great breakfast burrito one morning and it was perfect! All in all, I honestly can't wait to take another trip to O'ahu and stay at the Prince Waikiki again. It wasn't too far from anything, it was next to a marina and we got to watch boats come in and out as well as watch the sun rise and set. Great hotel to have a stay!

Everything was great. I love staying at this location. I can always count on excellent service. The food at 100 sails was great. Everything was clean. They even had a birthday card for my child with sparkling cider chilled in the fridge with 2 wine glasses.

We stayed at Prince Waikiki for a week, fully enjoyed the hotel, the large bedroom and large bathroom, ocean view with beautiful sunset, breakfast at the coffee shop in the lobby, very nice pool, and overall quietness and relaxing atmosphere as it’s close to Waikiki, but not on Waikiki so you avoid that continuous flow of tourists. Will definitely go back.
