I prepaid for a room with a City View and a King size bed for 4 nights. Upon my arrival and check-in into the hotel, I was charged an extra $56.62/per day for some hidden “resort fee” totaling over $226. Then I get to my room and my “city view” turned out to be the roof of the hotel lobby in a room located right in front of a broken ice machine. After letting the concierge know that this was not the room I paid for, I was told there were no other rooms of that description and I would have to pay to upgrade to a room with a view, even though I had already been overcharged for a room with a view that was supposedly not available. I was then charged an additional $25/day +tax for not accepting what had to be the worst room available. I was then moved to a room with a partial ocean view, but it had not been thoroughly cleaned and there was still sand on the floor from the previous guest. Not to mention, the pool had been drained/unusable for the entirety of my stay. If I had not already been charged for the entirety of my stay, I would have booked another hotel.…

Hotel's Favourite
Hotel was unique, clean, safe, comfortable and in a great location. Our main objective was being by the water. The ocean was just across the street from the hotel, with nothing but the street between. That beach in particular is protected by breakwater, so that water was shallow and calm -- great for families with small children. However, surfing beaches were also available, a 5 minute walk in either direction. Also nice, as part of the resort fee, you can get a free surf board, boogie board, or beach chair loan for the day (other items as well). Sleeping rooms were great. Bathroom is small. Atmosphere was unique and fun.

Excellent location on Waikiki Beach. Has an open planned lounge at street level, outdoor swimming pool complex, bar/restaurant, water stations and private meeting rooms. Staff are helpful and professional. Bedrooms are comfortable if a little basic but guarantee a good night's sleep. Balcony with table and chairs. Bathroom was satisfactory. Very good for a few days stay. Bus stop and Waikiki Trolley shuttle stop outside of hotel.

Although hotel was ok, was not impressed with the resort fees. Should have explained to me by my travel agent. If known, would have stayed elsewhere. Also hotel looking a bit old, ie they still use curtains in the bathrooms. Very old fashioned, afterall this is 2023!

Wanted to stay on the beach but out of the main area so we chose to stay on the Diamond Head end of the beach.. We splurged for the ocean front room- it was totally worth it. The view was spectacular and in the morning the ocean front balconies are not in direct sunlight yet so you can enjoy your coffee with a view. The place to borrow beach chairs and umbrella was very conveniently located. We appreciated the use of them as we were on the beach daily. The Diamond head end of the strip is a close walk to great restaurants and poke shops at a more reasonable price.

Had a wonderful stay. Clean large room. Nice view. Easy parking-must pay daily fee but worth it since street parking is scarce. Attendants very attentive. Service des I’ll very helpful and cleaning service will connect with you through text right away. Overall excellent service.

Based on a recommendation from a travel magazine, we decided to stay at this Waikiki hotel. It was supposed to be updated and looked much better in the pictures than in reality. The room was dated, and the bathroom had peeling paint. Also, I dislike toiletries in refillable containers because they can be tampered with… The location is good, and the pool deck was nice, except they closed it over Memorial Day weekend for tile repairs. Seems like an odd time to put the pool out of commission…

Great hotel in a good location.Great efficient valet service. Nice staff upon check in and check out as well as the cleaning ladies. They have rentals for free like umbrellas. Floating boards etc… I would stay here again this is a very solid hotel.

Had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, literally steps from nice restaurants, shops, and the beach. Our room was tidy and had a beautiful ocean view. The room needed a bit of paint but other than that we were more than satisfied. Staff was friendly and efficient. I plan on staying there next time. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Very dated hotel. Several in our group found bed bugs in their rooms. The rooms needed serious updating. Breakfasts were just ok. You got your choice of 3 meals. Staff for the breakfasts were awesome. I would not recommend staying there other than it’s within walking distance to the zoo and beach. The mattresses were also horrible.
