Hotel's Favourite
This hotel was a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Waikiki. It is a 1 minute walk to the beach, close to restaurants and shops, has clean rooms, and has a clean pool with an incredible view. We stayed in a queen bed studio room with a partial ocean view and it was great. The bed was comfortable and the room had a small kitchenette which had basic plates, cutlery, pots, pans, toaster and coffee maker. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice stay and even looked after our luggage after we checked out since we had a later flight. This was a great place to stay and I would definitely return if visiting Waikiki in the future.

I enjoyed staying at the Pacific Monarch and loved how close it was to the beach, I enjoyed walking to the beach and to the near by places to eat. Would totally go again. Me and my boyfriend went for spring break and enjoyed our whole vacation it was the best memories.

We booked an ocean view 1 bedroom room and expected to have a partial view of the beach at best. We were so surprised with the great view of the ocean. The rooms, while a little old, are so functional with a fully functioning kitchen (with a large fridge and freezer), a shower over a bath, plenty of space in the living area (the sofa is a fold out bed) and a lovely balcony. We were on level 28 but never had to wait excessively long for an elevator. The pool on the roof is great. One down fall is there is a set of stairs to climb to reach it when you exit the elevator but the pool temperature and view from there is totally worth it. It’s a 3-4 minute walk to Waikiki beach from the hotel door and there are supermarkets, ABC stores and liquor outlets very close. The location is flat and easy walking. Highly recommend …

I invited my friend to my unit as a guest for the first time and I stayed there too. Then what can I say? I was able to sleep better than when I was a resident! My friend was very happy because the room was clean and comfortable. Even though the entire hotel is currently under renovation, there were enough facilities and services to give us a comfortable time. I can't wait to see the panoramic view from there after the rooftop renovation is complete. I lived at the Pacific Monarch for more than 10 years, and it is still truly an oasis for me. I would like to continue to cooperate and support the Pacific Monarch as a unit owner and one of the hotel’s many fans.

I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff and how clean our room was. The pool is kind of sad since there are no plants or anything that made it look nice, except a painting over the hot tub. Other than that it is a totally amazing place to stay

The views from the room balcony and pool deck are amazing! The hot tub is dirty. No dishwasher or blender in room. and sparse plates. Patio furniture is very old as is TV 480p internet is very poor for web surfing and impossible for streaming. At $300 a night it should be better. Front desk was helpful and courteous and warm. Location is good!

The staff was super nice and the House-keeping staff was excellent. Nice view and the pool with hot tub were certainly a plus. Kitchens in each room were also great. Pots and Pans were very low quality and should be thrown away. The sofa bed should be replaced with something of a higher quality as well. Otherwise, all else was great and especially the location and convenient parking.
