We absolutely loved the location and decor of the hotel, the welcome basket and activities that were put on added to the experience as well. However we were surprised there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and housekeeping lacked attention to detail compared to a lot of other places we've stayed in the past (e.g. we'd find one single pillow at the end of a bed one time, or that old towels are still lying around in the bathroom while fresh ones have been topped up). The service at the Reception/Concierge was top notch though. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Our stay at the Laylow was unreal. Our server Chris at Hideout and Midori who arranged the daily activities were amazing. Both were very caring and helpful towards our family during our time there. Would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Waikiki!

Spent nearly two weeks at The Laylow and it went by in a flash! Everyone there is super helpful and friendly. The room was great to relax in and work from. The daily activities are a nice treat. The restaurant has delicious food and a lively bar scene. Shout out to Christie who reall made my morning special. She turned this late-riser, coffee-only gal into a chatty breakfast person!

We have been blown away at the service at not only the hotel, but the restaurant, Hideout. Our server Chris was FABULOUS. He was so attentive and friendly. Never let my husband’s water glass get empty (no small feat!) Overall, our stay has been wonderful and would definitely come back!

The Laylow’s ‘Vintage modern’/Hawaiian midcentury style was an immediate draw when booking, and was confirmed upon checkin. Room was really stylish, comfortable, and clean without feeling stuffy. E Komo Mai basket was a wonderful touch and they let us change slippah sizes! Shawn and Joey at the front were helpful as could be here - salamat! Hotel is centrally located and we walked everywhere no problem (not really a problem in Waikiki anyways). The Hideout restaurant was a highlight! Really great food only outshined by the service. Chris in particular was exemplary, top marks for him! Thanks for the lovely stay, we’ll be back!

We came to Hawaii to celebrate my wife’s birthday. As soon as we got to the hotel, we were treated with so much kindness and Ohana. Our room was perfect for the two of us. It has a mini fridge, beautiful shower, and plenty of storage for our luggage and clothes. With the view from the balcony we were able to see the water which was so beautiful and blue. This hotel offers so much they have breakfast lunch dinner brunch, and they are located in the heart of Waikiki near so many restaurants in malls within walking distance.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here at the Laylow this past week. The location of this hotel is awesome, just few blocks from Waikiki beach, and close to a ton of restaurants and shopping. The facilities and rooms were beautiful, the pool is super nice. They serve free shaved ice every day at the pool 1-2pm. The Hideout restaurant attached is amazing, and the staff here are all super nice. We definitely recommend this spot, and would come back again.

We truly enjoyed our 10 day stay at the Laylow. From the spacious and cozy room, to the amenities and location it was a 10 out of 10. Everyone is accommodating and pleasant to be around. The valet were super nice and helpful with recommending places to eat. The Hideout is the restaurant on location and it’s amazing! We had 2 main servers. Sophia and Christopher, who provided top notch Customer Service each time. Love this hotel and the staff. Mahalo
