Darling Insta-worthy hotel right in the heart of Waikiki. Awesome location. Reserved two rooms (Q and 2 doubles). Had great service at the front desk. Rooms could use a little refreshing and our room happened to be next to the elevator which was pretty noisy, but overall a positive stay. Maybe discount the room by the elevator to thwart complaints. Hawaiian snacks awaited us in the room which was fun. My kid's room (added an extra person for a total of 3) was significantly more expensive even tho it only had 2 beds, but enough room for all 3 of them. Would totally stay here again. Mahalo
I stayed at the Shoreline twice in 2022 for a total of 15 nights and couldn't recommend it more highly. The location is fantastic. Right off the main streets of Waikiki so there is peace and quiet, but it is just a few minutes walk to my favorite restaurants, stores, and the main Waikiki beach. The amenities are thoughtful, with a Sodastream filtered water station that I utilized heavily, a rooftop pool, free snacks and Dole whip upon checkin, and daily specials like yoga, cotton candy, and popcorn. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and room service did a great job daily. Justin at the front desk made sure I had a great stay. The hotel is vibrant and the vibe is friendly. The value is also great for Waikiki. I've stayed in numerous hotels and Airbnbs in the area and from now on will continue to stay at the Shoreline Waikiki.…
This is the perfect place to stay. The hotel is clean, bright and cheerful and was right across the street from our tour bus pickup and a block from the hop-on/hop-off bus stop. It is close to the beach and many restaurants. The people at the front desk were very helpful in getting us transportation to the airport.
This hotel has a really pretty aesthetic. Very colourful and vibrant. The staff have great energy and do their best to help with whatever you need. The rooms are pretty average and it's fairly noisy outside at late hours of the night. I stayed here twice, and had vastly different experiences. The first time around we had a spacious room at the end of the hallway away from the noise of the hallway. We loved this time around as everything was quiet & cozy. Second time around we got a room with a smaller bed right next to the elevator. You could hear it going up and down all night. both times I booked the same room style.. so really, the quality of the stay seems sort of luck of the draw.
Fair warning, this place has a low price but you might get less than you pay for at this place. It might be cheaper and a good location but it's pretty run down at this point. Hopefully they do a new renovation because 5 years after their last renovation, it's just gross. Carpets are dirty and stained, the lanai is rotting concrete and paint. The curtain has stains. The bathroom floor has been renovated however! You don't stay here for a view, you stay here to have a frugal vacation. Definitely not for any special occasion, it's so run down and motel shabby despite the bright paint and strategic photos. You'd be okay with your 20 somethings staying here but anybody older and it's just life disaffirming shabby. Don't do it. Cuz this place is still pricey with its higher post COVID prices and additional "resort fee". Staff was fatigued as every business seems to be so attention was lacking on things so one could be comfortable. Because we're still GUESTS aren't we? No, you're just treated like stingy travelers who don't deserve clean.…
I stayed two weeks. Absolutely sensational. The spirit of aloha is displayed with the artistic warmth and giving of a joyful woman. The rooms and bed are top notch. The roof pool wonderful to sunbathe with the breeze and beautiful light at sun set. Heavenly is open for breakfast lunch and dinner just delicious!! Everything has a particular purpose in giving you a smile of happiness and comfort.
Artsy and colorful with a vibe that is playful and captures the Aloha spirit with unique surprises like, flavored / bubbly or still water machine, complimentary local sweet treats in the room, and aqua-zumba in the rooftop pool. to name a few. I also appreciated the upcycled, local products featured in the lobby. Beds were firm and comfortable and the bathroom toiletries are refillable. The location is super convenient to designer boutiques and shopping malls on Waikiki, as well as, the beach and canal trail. Perhaps best of all is the friendly and helpful staff, including efficient valet parking. Highly recommend.
Pros. Great location. Close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. Comfortable beds, you can request daily clean sheets and towels, very clean, service was excellent. Low cost. Cons. Very small room and bath. No dresser.Had to stack clothing on desk. (Desk should be replaced with a small dresser.) Due to it's central location, delivery trucks for nearby hotels and restaurants start their noisy deliveries at 3-4a.m. Take ear plugs.( Other more pricey hotels may experience the same noise level due to location.) Ask for room at upper level to cut down on the noise.
If you have been to Hawaii before and are planning to go again, you may have noticed the extortion that some hotels are trying to get away with, even AirBnB cleaning and service fees are astronomical! ANYWAY, Shoreline is comfortable, clean, central and an incredible price point. Staff are welcoming, the hotel amenities in the bathroom are delightful and i loved the flavored water and coffee in the lobby. You can walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes and to major attractions like the International Market Place & Duke's within 10 minutes! I will be back and staying again!
This Property Had An Issue With The Front Desk Computer System At Check In That Was Never Resolved During My Stay. My Credit Card Was Over Charged Numerous Times And The Property Did Nothing To Resolve The Problem. I Made Countless Attempts With The Management And They Did Nothing And No Apology.
