Great hotel in a convenient location; clean and comfortable rooms; friendly staff; good amenities, including a jacuzzi. Close to the bus-stop and Waikiki Beach. Would definitely consider coming again!
No frills hotel. Staff was very kind and friendly. Rooms were great, housekeeping was very pleasant and helpful. Location is great! Walkable to just about everything. Waikiki. The bus is easy to ride and picks you up out front. Overall an amazing experience thus far! I would recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again in the near future.
We just stayed a week at this hotel and I can honestly say overall it was wonderful. The only concern we had was the hotel is doing renovations so it was noisy during the day and bit at night. I hold no fault against the hotel, they were willing to relocate us to another room. My concern was with Air Canada for not advising us of the construction and giving us the choice to take another hotel. But once the hotel learnt of our concern they went out of their way to help. The hotel rooms are not overly fancy but they are very clean, beds are comfortable, Air conditioning worked perfect and not loud. Staff were exceptional, location was great close to everything, about a 10 min walk to the beach. The only downfall is the pool. It is very small and not really outside. No where to sit around and sunbathe. I will return to this hotel. …
Great people and front desk. Excellent location... you are right in the middle of everything and the trolley (hop-on/ hop-off) is located right behind the building. Definitely will be back next year. Good value...
Good location, nice lobby, convenient parking however the parking lot was very tight driving a mini van. Rooms were old and run down. Stains on carpets, old bathtub and the room reeked of mold and mildew. This place gets a 4 star because it was conveniently located, great service, complimentary coffee every morning and the bed was comfortable.
Overall our stay was great as the front desk staff were all really nice but there's definitely room for improvement. When we first arrived I was impressed by how clean the room smelled but unfortunately house keeping quality was not consistent. We only wanted it every other day during our week stay and things weren't replenished 2 off the 3 times and floor wasn't cleaned one of the times. Made me wish I had brought my own cleaning supplies since we came with a crawling baby. The room itself is quirky. Floors are uneven so none of the doors closed properly, but it was nice to have separated areas with a young child. The hotel in kind of motel like but most the noise other reviewers spoke of came from the street side through the very thin balcony door. Double pane glass could easily remedy this. We brought a sound machine and baby slept fine through it all. If you're planing to use the kitchen, bring a knife, measuring cups/spoons, kitchen towel, sponge, dish soap, command hooks or s hooks to hang stuff and a cheap picnic tablecloth to put over the ironing board and use as extra counter space as there's hardly any. The hotel has coin laundry $5 USD to wash & $5 to dry. There's a gym and a pool that we didn't use. On Fridays they give away free ice cream and have other activities. They also have a courtesy room where you can shower after you've checked out while you wait to go to the airport. We did not end up using but think it's awesome if you want to go to the beach one last time or hang out at the pool.…
We stayed at the outrigger Malia and found the location was central and hotel overall was very good. Best bang for your buck in comparison to similar hotels. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it.
this hotel is crap for the price you pay. honestly not one to complain but feel the need. you can stay somewhere waaaaay better for the price. staff and location are amazing and they get all the stars. it isn’t their fault the hotel brand robs you. PS- Outrigger- please save me your default AI answer comment back, just own you are shi**y and promise to do better for others.
All staffs are professional esp miss Pam. Only need to make sure park your car in their Seaview Ave garage. The staff even notice I have a flat tire and alert me. I stay in their partial ocean view room which can see the fireworks. A Value for money deal.
We like this hotel. The rooms don't look as grand as the entrance but they are livable. The location is close to a lot of eateries and shops. The reason for our 1 star rating is the following: We asked Tomoko for an upgrade last night and she told us to come down to the reception desk today. So coming in from a fun night walking in town, we approached the reception desk and asked Robert for an update on my husband's request for an upgrade. He then looked over 2 computers to his left and asked Lance and Lance didn't even look at us. We didn't even hear an audible response from him. Our 15 year old son noticed Lance look at the woman next to him and they both smirked when my husband asked for an upgrade. "Upgrade" meaning he would pay for it. He was not asking for a handout. Lance walked away from the reception area and the other lady didn't bother looking up at all. We are Samoan and I was told by one of the shop people that we look like the people who work the garages and dance in the local luau shows. Incidentally, we have been mistaken for both of those when we are on vacay here in Waikiki. And this trip, one of the Asian families at "EggsNThings" thought our son was one of the waiters. None of the jobs are bad. None of them happen to be ours and we don't live here. I'm still curious about Lance and his female coworker not giving us the time of day. The parking is $35/night and we weren't informed when we checked in. Kudos to them for giving discounts to military and for another group who live here on island. We are noting that IF we come back we will go back to the hotel down the street that treated us like Ohana which was bigger and more clean.…
