We stayed in a junior suite and it was great. Since we were there a full week, we wanted the extra space. Staff was friendly and helpful and on site amenities were great. We loved going to Dave's for ice cream. Went to Cinnamon's for brunch and visited the poke shop one night for dinner. Both were delicious. Location was great as it was fairly easy to get in and out of the hotel. We also rented a car a few days with HUI and that was super convenient since the car was located inside the Ilikai parking garage. Plenty of dining options within walking distance. Used on site laundry twice while we were there and it was conveniently located by the elevators so just a short walk from our room. Our only complaint (and reason for 4 stars rather than 5) was that housekeeping doesn't come regularly. You only get a room cleaning once per 7 days of stay. We would have preferred regular room cleanings - even every other day would be helpful! I will point out that they were always available to bring clean towels or extra coffee, etc. when you need it, you just have to call the front desk and request whatever you may need.…

Absolutely loved staying at the Ilikai, the rooms are so spacious & the balcony is nice & big. We traveled as a family of 3 & the pull out lounge was perfect for our daughter& still left plenty of room to walk around. There is a full kitchen which is great & saves heaps of money especially with breakfast as we are big eaters. The bathroom is a good size with a nice big shower, the bathroom vanity is pretty big & plenty of room to put your toiletries. On each floor there is a laundry room which is really handy especially when travelling with kids. This was our 2nd time staying here & will definitely stay here again. There is a bus & trolley stop out the front which is so convenient.

The staff was very friendly, however, the room was very small and not very clean. I don't think I'd stay here again. Bed was very hard, no screen door on slider. AC was not adjustable. This hotel needs a major renovation.

This was my first trip to Hawai’i. I have not been totally interested in going to Hawai’i because of the low value of our dollar. It was quite expensive to stay (minimum $240/night) and that’s a good deal. We got the kitchen in the suite and it was so much better (my wife loves to cook and is a world class chef). Eating out at 5star restaurants does not compare to her food. I total see the draw to Hawai’i, it is beautiful and the weather is so comfortable. We will be back many more times.

My family stayed in a beautiful, clean, and spacious two-bedroom suite for a week. We tremendously enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend to others. Also, great location near the lagoon for our two-year old to enjoy.

Very 'tired' Hotel. Floors not clean in our room as the black soles of my feet proved. Small, uninviting pool area, with such hot water in the pool it was not refreshing. No direct beach access which was disappointing. Traffic noise very loud.

The valet, bellman, TV technician, and Marie at check-in were organized and true professionals. They ensured they greeted their guests “uncle” “aunty” and were tended to quickly so that there were no long lines anywhere, and they were all positive who displayed a spirit of Aloha. I didn’t feel like I was in a tourist trap.

The staff were great. Unfortunately the guest next door and downstairs were smoking marijuana. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, the guest next door were partying very loud for most of the night

Very tidy and clean, location of property to beach, lagoon, shopping is perfect...away from the main hustle and bustle of Waikiki central. Great to have so many restaurants close by. Pool was great but a little warm when looking to cool off
