The Building was just ok ...again a very Noisy property you could hear folks walking above you heels clicking down the hall starting at 5:00Am in the morning was forced to wake up because of the noise also the water pipe noise is loud as well you can hear the water pressure noise coming from other rooms on above and below the floor ! The marble counter tops in the kitchen are badly stained and light was out inside the microwave oven . These suites are small and tiny it was two of us and the room felt two small !! They updated this hotel but they should be updating the soundproofing because you can hear everything.. when I told the front desk about my experience being on the property she just said "oh will you will have to speak to the manager "who was not on site!! It may be a great place for family with kids ....but if your looking for Peace,Quiet and Relaxation this is not the place ... Also as a world traveler and being in my sixties I am noticing that the Hilton Brand is diminishing there Hotel are Lacking,in need of Repairs ,Cleaning and Soundproofing and room furniture and Mattresses replaced .. it used to be about the Guest and there Comfort now it's about the Money and how much they can get from you ! As Timeshare owners we are not having a great Experience with Hilton Vacation Club at all and I would not Recommend singles or couples who like Peace ,Quiet and Relaxation in there rooms to invest in Hilton Vacation Club!

Aloha and thank you for your review and loyalty as valued members with us. We are sorry to hear about the noise and maintenance issues you encountered during your recent stay with us. Waikiki is a very popular tourist destination, if you are looking for peace, quiet and relaxation, we may suggest one of our sister resorts on Maui, Kauai or Waikoloa. We hope you were able to enjoy your time around the city and island.

Our second time staying at the Grand Islander at Hilton Hawaiian Village and it won’t be our last. The room are large, comfortable and beautifully decorated with full kitchens. Makes it nice to be able to have breakfast and lunch easily available. Just a quick walk to Waikiki beach and easy access to the resorts many pools, shops and restaurants.

Best hotel in Honolulu for families! The hotel is beautiful, centrally located, comfortable plus you can find everything you need just walking distance! We booked a two bedroom ocean view and fell in love with the view! The rooms where very clean plus the hotel had excellent guest services. Great amenities and walking distance to the beach…made great memories with the kids! Would definitely stay here again!

The Hilton Grand Islander timeshare at Hilton Hawaiian Village did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded our high expectations of Hilton properties including time shares. Our 2 BR unit was roomy, beautifully appointed with a nice view of Waikiki beach. Being in the HH Village is always a plus for us because we love the hive of activity from the restaurants, stores, beach and pools on property. Service from staff was professional and engaging. One of the concierges, Duke, was especially welcoming with his warm aloha spirit. We walked all over Waikiki during our 5 day stay, not once having to take a taxi or Uber, except to and from the airport. That is such a positive for us because it keeps us active and engaged with the locale . We definitely will be back. Try it, you'll like it!

An awesome local experience indeed. Our Ohana and Keiki was relaxed here and the floor to ceiling windows allowed us Ko’olau mountain views and fresh air on outside balcony. Definitely going back soon!!

Great hotel and stay! First time in Hawaii and this resort was great. We stayed 4 nights in a one bedroom suite. Very spacious unit. Staff was super friendly! The resort has everything you need. 2 Starbucks on the property. There was live music every night. We did a Walmart delivery right to the hotel. They bring it to the lobby but still convenient. There are also ABC stores everywhere on the property or right outside the property. So many restaurants in walking distance. Definitely would stay here again.

When I arrived at the unit at the Grand Islander there big crumbs and what looked like a pubic hair to the right of the instant hot water faucet - I cleaned it and the whole counter because I didn't know if the bathroom was cleaned first and the pubic hair came from the bathroom. The toilet had poop remnants in the tank. The ice machine stopped making ice all the time. I ordered an extra chair for the lanai so we could have a total of three, because there were three of us, and was told that one more was fine but that it would be dangerous to have more than three because of the lanai's weight capacity. WHAT?! 😳 There was no weight capacity listed anywhere and what if we were each 300 pound ladies? Would the lanai collapse? SO crazy! We asked a room service lady on our floor for 2 more towels on one of the days the room was serviced and she said, "Your room was already serviced today." Three times before giving us two more damn towels. Both times that the room was serviced there was still hair on the bathroom floor. The staff at the counter in the lobby only smiled when they talked to each other, whenever we walked up or whenever we saw other guests walk up they lost their smiles and were kinda rude. The water damage that the tower sustained and all the loud units blowing air here and there in the lobby and in the hall on the pool level (3rd floor) was crazy but we know water damage happens. Lastly, for a more expensive tower, how is it that scanning your room key is not required to ring for an elevator?

We took advantage of Southwest Airlines “Wanna Get-away” fares to spend 4 nights in Waikiki! We were lucky to be able to book on Open Season for our stay! From check-in to check-out, our stay was fabulous!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room amenities are great and modern, really nice decor. Plentiful coffee supplies but you need to bring your own condiments. The beds were very comfortable. Good lap pool. Beautiful grounds.

et me start with the good. This is very clean resort with so many amenities it's mind boggling. There's shopping on site as well as several pools. The customer service is great. Everyone on site is willing and ready to help. Our room had a Mountain View and was beautiful. It came with a kitchenette with a nice island to eat at and a washer and dryer. Which I love because I hate going home with dirty clothes. A very nice touch. They was also an awesome balcony which overlooked the outside streets and the mountains. It was rain season while we were there but you could still see out pretty far. I loved that they give you four bottles of water to your room everyday. The bathroom wasn't huge but not small at all. I wished they had a whirlpool tub but the regular tub was not bad for a soak. The toilet had a bidet (Oh hello!) as well. That's always a bonus. In the area it's very walkable to shopping, restaurants and events. Now the bad. There are many different sections of this resort. We stayed in the Grand Islander. Now I don't know who designed the drop off area but it was an epic fail. It is SO difficult to find where to drive in. It's literally a dark ramp (at night) off the side of a sidewalk. We circled it about five times until we asked someone and they said "Yea man it's up this ramp but it's hard to see and you gotta be on the lookout for it." Umm what? But yea found it and checked in. We got in late so we were looking for food. Almost all the restaurants and bars on the resort closed at 10pm or earlier. So we had to use Uber eats to get something. The driver had the same issue and I had to tell him it was a ramp and he had to run up the ramp to me. They really need better signage of a redesign of the entrance. Speaking of food. We did end getting something from the bar. I have to be honest. The burger from there was shockingly bad. The taste of the food didn't match the decor at all. Just really bad food. Something is going on with the tv too. If you go to guide and click on a channel you will NOT get the show you seen it will be something totally different. I thought it was just a fluke but one night I was watching a movie and the tv just turned off by itself. Good times. Speaking of movies I was able to pull up Netflix and yup same thing happened right in the middle of the show. There is some kind of knocking sound that comes from the kitchen. I dunno if it's settling or.... I dunno......The bed isn't the best. It's very low to the ground and I could feel the actual springs from the mattress! The shower is made weird. It faces straight down and I can see the entire PVC pipe covering up top. I'm not particularly interested in seeing that when I come in the shower. Lastly upon check out it was easy enough but I got charged for using the garage for 7 days and I only used it for 2. They did reverse the charge but it was a shock and hassle to deal with. They said the card garage reader doesn't talk to the front desk computer. Weird. Other than that for the post part the property is nice I would recommend.
