Everything was very dirty. The floor had stuff all over it, clearly had not been vacuumed. They were fingerprints everywhere. They had miniature decorative pillows on the bed but no actual pillows. The face wipe package in the bathroom was ripped open and there were no tissues other than the one that they fold and throw back in which is absolutely disgusting that someone touches tissues. There was a half a roll of toilet paper and that was it. There were two towels, and that was it. It was clear that this room had not been touched. There was also a huge hairball on the faucet. The staff was horrible the elevators were disgusting. No one answers the front door. I ordered a Diet Coke at the restaurant and she gave me a bottle of Pepsi in my to go bag up to my room. I don’t like Pepsi, they’re supposed to tell you that. Just these little things all added up. Some of them you can look past but it was just a complete pile on. There was plenty of parking out front but yet they tried to get me to pay $12 for the parking garage even though it was free out front. Of course I’m smarter than that. There were some people that were walking through the little store that went into the back of the hotel, a couple, well dressed, they then came back through the store took some alcohol and left and the front desk turned her head. Someone else came in asking if they could bring boxes in through the back and mentioned that she was going to be staying there for a couple months. The woman said sure no problem come on through the back not an issue at all. Lots of people in and out from the front desk, just shady overall. So disappointed. We left after one night and went to another Hilton for the second and third night which was very nice.

Hotel's Favourite
All the staff was very friendly, we were able to check in a little early with no problem. The pool and hot tub were really nice and both are a lot bigger than most. This is one of the few locations that actually has their pool and hot tub open, only with slightly reduced hours, from 10 am to 10 pm, which is still really good. Everything was very clean. The parking is either across the street or down the street slightly and is $12 with in out privileges for hotel guests. They did not have room service at this time which is the only disappointment since we usually like to have breakfast delivered to our room, but there are several restaurants within walking distance and they provide a grab and go breakfast for a fee, but we did try that. The staff did go above and beyond and made us feel welcome and we will be back.

I was a little worried about the lack of bath goods and towels in the pool, but other than that, it is the best hotel with really good customer service and cleanliness. The jacuzzi in the pool was warm and awesome.

First and foremost they are charging guests $12 a night for parking when the city of Scranton charges them $2.00 a night. That's theft by deception. There sundry shop is charging almost double and triple for the items there. The front desk staff very rude and incompetent. From Ashley telling us about the parking and sundry situation to Luke trying to pacify us instead of dealing with the problem. Refunding our $ was nice but let's the problem for the next guest.. The place is disgusting and should be closed down. Ridiculously understaffed. The elevators are beyond dirty. Then the issue of an African American Male staring at and following my wife around. He's lucky I didn't call the authorities. It was all blamed on covid but its obvious the staff is incompetent. I'll never stay there again and advise others not to as well

Absolutely terrible stay. Will say we got a full refund and appreciate that. But everyone else, beware. We drove 12 hours and were so excited to come stay at this hotel. My fiancé just came back from deployment and we are moving. We spoke to hotel staff prior to getting there and they reassured us that we could get food at their hotel. We called because we knew we were getting there around 9pm and they said we were good until 11. We arrive and the first thing they tell us is that the restaurant is closed. Fine whatever. Room service is also advertised at booking and we were reassured it was available to us. Told it was unavailable. Annoying. We finally get to the room, it smells like literal urine. We gagged coming into the room. There was NO way we could spend the night in the room. They did change our room quickly but didn’t offer any apology or explanation for a urine smelling room. They reacted like they just knew this room smelled like urine. The pet fee is expensive, you pay for parking, etc. This morning we get breakfast sandwiches at the Starbucks. They are supposed to be bacon, egg, and cheese. The English muffin is stale, hard as a rock. Impossible to chew. The egg is COLD and soggy. The bacon wasn’t even full pieces of bacon, just broken soggy pieces of bacon that didn’t even look like bacon. 6$ for those sandwiches. Not even my dog ate a piece of the egg, he literally spat it out. Spoke to supervisor about the issues and she proceeded to explain that the urine smell is expected since it’s a pet floor which sorry, that’s not a valid excuse or explanation. Just because I have a dog with me, doesn’t mean I expect the rooms to smell like urine and be stained. So pet owners beware! If an establishment just expects a room to smell bad or be dirty cause of a pet, there’s cleaner and more considerate places to stay at. She told us the restaurant should have been open and didn’t know why it was closed when we arrived. The conversation with the supervisor was disappointing in regard to tone. Honestly, just felt like she didn’t want to deal with it. She did say she would look into everything but was very defensive and I just felt no sympathy or respect in convo. I just simply gave up trying to talk to her, accepted the refund, wished her a good day, and left. I understand times are tough, but this experience was just terrible. Had I been met with more respect, maybe I’d feel better. We will be back to Scranton in the future, not to this hotel.
