Amy Turtle kept my room very clean. Seeing she is 90 years of age thats no mean feat! Shughie made my toast just how I like it...hot and on a plate! The motel has rooms that are a bit rickety but as long as you dont lean on the walls too much you will be fine!

I also don’t get the bad reviews. It’s an inexpensive motel. Not some Disney version of Breaking Bad’s crystal palace. For what it is it’s good, maybe better than good. My room was clean. Had no problem with the staff. You can tell it is locally owned by people who care about it.

I don't understand the negative comments about this motel. I loved it.
As a Breaking Bad fan, you can't just go to Albuquerque and NOT stay here.
The lady owner is SUPER friendly and we had a nice chat.
She does have a hard time with fans who are disrespectful to her and her guests - and she told me a few stories that were quite shocking.
So give the lady a break and be nice.
This is not a crack motel (as portrayed in the show). It's clean, it's central and I felt totally safe.
So go stay here - even if she aren't a Breaking Bad fan. It's a cool little budget motel.
I wish the owner all the best - and hope to come back one day.

As breaking bad geeks, we had to stay here. Our expectations were exceeded on every level. The owner, Guy, takes great pride in this motel he grew up in. The long time family owned location, right off the freeway, is convenient, clean, and fun. Stay in room 211 for around $50 while you watch all the movies filmed in there on Netflix. Good people, good place! They also recommended Standard Diner, which is one of the best meals and Green/red child in Albuquerque!

Stayed here for one night by my lonesome. Vicky; the manager was very cool. Spent a long time telling me about the hotel's history and use as a filming location. Besides Breaking Bad they also shot Alan Arkins; 'Sunshine Cleaning' and John Malkovich's; 'Afterwards' here.

Vicky let me have the room they used in Breaking Bad where Jesse and Wendy hid out and everything inside was pretty much the same minus the piles of crystal. Can't have everything I guess.

Hotel is older but very clean and surprisingly quiet given the construction work happening on Central Ave. I paid $45 for the room which I considered a great deal. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town.

Decent restaurants right up the street but no Wendy to be found.
Thank Michael R
