When call for reservations was not told no breakfast no pool and twin beds 3 people in one room with small beds flat pillows the bathroom was so small you have to close the door as you move around it, towels ruff thin. The room was not cleaned We were there 3 days no cleaning they put coffee in room NO cups I would never stay in the place again and I warn anyone who does the only thing you get is a bed to sleep in for 200.00 a night I have traveled all over the world and have never seen anything like this. Oh yea mold in shower. STAY AWAY
This place is a rip off! Read others reviews. We stayed at this outdated and filty motel on 11-14-2020 when we left we had 260.00 in extra charges. When I spoke to them they said due to it being smoked in. We don't smoke nor did anyone smoke in it! After reading others reviews come to find out this has happened to others! There is plenty of nicer hotels around there so AVOID THIS PLACE. Sounds like there is a dishonest and lazy Cleaning staff especially Priscilla Clark!
This hotel charged my business card 230 dollars saying I smoked in the room .. when I argued the fact they were 100 % 'wrong . The manager Yvette Clark said she will talk to the owners. The charged my company credit card and refuses to give me her bosses number. I do smoke but it is a gross smell so I NEVER stay in a smoking room. I drove for a living and when I smoke I PULL OVER instead of leaving nasty cigarette butts on the floor I use a cup or a bottle that I have in my truck. I stay in hotels everynight. I remove my cup or bottle at the end of each day. I throw it in the trash either on the way walking to my room (if there is a trash can located) or I throw it in the room trash . This hotel DUG THREW MY TRASH FOUND MY CUP AND ACCUSED ME OF SMOKING IN THE ROOM !! Dont you think other people next door would smell or in the hall way where all the doors face each other. On video shows me asking for a room down stairs and closes to a exit door so if I wanted to smoke it would be convenient for me I smoked 3 cigarettes that night outside. They refuse to Reimburse my company .. This is not fair to me . They did it so easily and nobody can help me make then unwrite their Wrong…
I checked into this hotel mid week and had a nice quiet stay. The front desk clerk was very cordial and professional when I checked in. I stayed on the 3rd floor and it was quiet. Breakfast is the average breakfast of waffles, cereal, pastries, muffins, etc.. The room I stayed in was clean and the bed was relaxing and comforting. This is a nice hotel for business stay.
Loved this hotel and the comfortable updated rooms. The bathrooms and everything in the rooms has been completely redone. Love the handholds in the bathtubs and the amenities. Pool is also great! My only complaint is the breakfast. We got thier fifteen minutes or so before closing and everything had run out. All we could eat were biscuits and coffee and juice. They had cereal ...but no milk and waffle station but no waffle mix. Biscuits but no butter or jelly. This has to change!!
The rooms are maintained well and also its in budget range as compared to other hotels in the area. It is 10 min away from USS Lexington and beaches are in less than 30min drive range from here. Restaurants are near by too..The breakfast spread was not a lot. Only bread, Corn flakes and oats was available. Was expecting atleast boiled eggs.
To start, plugging the address into Google Maps gets you to an old rusty locked side gate behind a Valero gas station. You must back track 10 minutes to gain another entry. The exterior grounds, parking and the building are very tired looking. Inside the lobby there is a poster warning that construction is in progress (room renovations). That is to be followed with renovation of the very dated lobby. The lobby has that 1960's bus station look, very stark, no attempt to make it look bright, the atrium style windows have about 10 years of grime. When approaching the front desk you realize it is not manned and must call out for someone to understand a guest has arrived. We think the elevator formally served as the tower of terror ride at Disney World, it rose from floor to floor in bouncing spurts. I suppose we did not get one of those renovated rooms. The toilet kept refilling every few minutes, so we had to shut off the supply valve except when we needed to flush. The rooms are dark, the lamp shades soiled, the sheets and comforter so yellowed and thread bare the first thing that comes to mind is to start a bed bug search. Oh and they dont leave the light on as that cleaner more modestly priced chain does. If you arrive late and tired you are locked out and must seek other accomadition. No night clerk and no refunds.…
We had a hard time finding a place to stay since this was over Labor day weekend. We stayed one night and the place was very clean inside and outside. You need the room key to get in after 9 pm, which I like for safety. They had cameras in the parking lot which at least could be a deterrent for bad behavior. The breakfast looked pretty limited, no fresh fruit. They use powder coffee creamer which I dislike. I think they could elevate this place with those types of simple things. The pool looked clean and so did the area around it. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. We couldn’t ask for more for one night.
Where do I even start....... up on arriving to the hotel the grass was so over grown it looked terrible. I asked if they had lawn people and they said they just got new management. So I gave them a second chance for that. There was 4 off us. When I asked for extra towels they didn't have any. Good thing we brought towels for the beach. We asked for extra pillows but the didn't have that either so we went to Walmart and bought some. The phone in the room didn't work, told the front desk but they didn't care. The "free" breakfast was a joke. They never had everything stocked. Coffee was out, the hot breakfast was out, the cups for waffles was out, there was pancake mix everywhere, it was a all around mess, there wasn't even an employee there to fill things you had to go tell the front desk then they were rude about it. The elevator stopped working while people were in it. The parking gate didn't even open so there was only 1 way in or out. When swimming in the pool you get a smoke in your face from the grill and can't breath. The front desk lady Ebony was RUDE when you go to address your concerns she rolls her eyes and smarts back. But the 1 good thing I do have to say is the housekeeping staff was extremely nice. Im usually not 1 to leave negative reviews but I think the New Owners need to replace the front office staff then the place might get better reviews. I would of let all this go if the front desk wasn't so rude…
the only minor issue was the card to enter the room didnt work properly, had two go twice to the checking to get keys exchange overall great hotel, nice pool, and breakfast. Room was in great conditions.
