Amy Peterson, the General Manager and the staff are great. The breakfast lady (Sherrie) does a great job and is very helpful and friendly to the guests. There's plenty of guest parking spaces. They also have a great hot chocolate bar in the lobby for guests and their kids, with different toppings, marshmallows and whipped cream.

The hotel is outdated. It was not a delightful stay and we've stayed in Marriott Hotels for years. We had just left California from a Fairfield Inn and Suites and was excited to book one in Utah only to be disappointed. We booked a Suite Room only to be told we have to be in a Standard Room with a double bed. We called the night before to let them know we would arrive at a little after midnight and they kept reassuring that they will notate and make sure our room wasn't going to be given to another guest. The front desk lady was not professional and was rude she just told us we are sold out and this is the only available room. We had asked for a wake up call and we didn't get that either. The room was smelly, cold, tv wasn't working, and in the morning the hot water wasn't working. The Front Desk who checked us that night was rude and not helpful at all. She seemed like she didn't want to be at work. What a NIGHTMARE!!!! Breakfast was horrible and the breakfast lady just stood there showing another guest things on her phone while we all stood there trying to wait on Coffee. The Hot Chocolate Bar had no Marshmallows and Cocoa was stuck and it looked old. After we had Breakfast we went to swim but, before that I stopped at the Front Desk and I spoke with this sweet very bubbly morning Front Desk young lady name Mel. I had told her what happened during our check-in and how we were being treated and about the room we booked but didn't get that room. Mel apologized and had offered us things from the Market and gave us a discount on our room. She was super sweet! She listened to my concerns and was very helpful. She is a person who wants her job and wants to be there unlike the previous lady. When we were in the Lobby here and there she was greeting and welcoming each and every guests. That's true HOSPITALITY! Thank you Mel for all you have done to make my horrible night become a better morning for my little family and I. Fantastic young lady had changed our heart about Fairfield Inn and Suites in SLC just by her listening and trying to help fix our attitude about this hotel and our stay. Bravo

Thank you for a great stay. Real positive experience. Great front desk, nice team. Recognized as a member, good pricing, nice rooms, clean, fresh. Nice and close to SLC and within driving distances for restaurants. I would stay here again.

Well-priced and safe this Fairfield lies 5 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from downtown, the approach fairly typical for a budget brand though the 24/7 gym and hot coffee throughout the day is a nice touch. Free parking plus free Breakfast for those who partake in such.

We arrived after 30 hours of traveling to the hotel. The reservation was made 3 month earlier. And they told us that we are not priority clients so they sent us to a nearby hotel, which was dirty and full of mold in the toilet.

Hotel was ok. Seemed understaffed when we were there. Paid $25 for our free taxi ride bc we could not reach them from the airport (things happen. We understand that). Was told though we would be credited the cab ride. Still waiting. Called two weeks after returning home and was told it takes a couple days. Still waiting another three weeks later. Enjoyed our meal at the adjacent Perkin's Restaurant.

First of all, the hotel is NOT "recently renovated" as one review says, unless you count the jackhammer in the pool area that greeted us upon arrival. It is DESPERATE for a renovation. Problems we encountered: 1. Internet connectivity. I had a zoom interview the morning after we arrived, and asked the front desk at checkin about buying high-speed internet. They don't have that, but they said their "MarriottBonvoy_Conference" internet was really fast. I was never able to see the "conference" wifi. "MarriottBonvoy_Public" was incredibly SLOW. We couldn't connect to "MarriottBonvoy_Guest" at first, but eventually could. However the quality of the connection was very inconsistent. I could not reliably see or hear the other people on my zoom interview, even after everyone shut down their video. (Others in our traveling group had the same problems with the internet.) When I checked out, I commented on the internet. The front desk said that they have been having a lot of internet problems and are trying to work them out. If the person who checked us in, knowing about my zoom interview, had told me that, I would have found another wifi access point for the interview. 2. Air Conditioning was TERRIBLE. The entire hotel was warm, and we couldn't get the room unit to cool. I talked to the front desk, who told me not to turn it below 68 degrees, which we hadn't, and they sent maintenance to the room. Maintenance came and said it was working fine, and that we should turn the temp down lower. Below 68. It still didn't cool. That evening they put a sign up at the front desk that said, "Do not turn air conditioning below 68 degrees or the units will freeze and they will need to defrost before cooling." We never got cool air. It was very uncomfortable. 3. A member of our party went to take a shower and found a stain on their towel that looked like... a bodily fluid. That's just gross. 4. The fan in the bathroom did not work I reported everything except the bathroom fan when each problem was encountered, and I again reported everything again at checkout. We had been there 2 nights, and were offered no compensation (refund or rewards points) for the awful stay. There are LOTS of other hotels in the area, including other Marriott-branded properties. Don't bother with this one. It's just gross.

We stayed here to take advantage of the fly and park special. We only stayed one night but left our vehicle for seven nights. They have a shuttle van to the airport and it is only a 10 minute drive. The breakfast was good for a quick bite. When we returned from our trip I called the hotel and the van was already there so we walked straight from baggage claim and got in the van. It was a smooth experience and I would do it again.

Friendly and thorough front desk staff made sure we had our feather free pillows before handing us our keys, a welcome surprise considering our many travels. They also explained pool and laundry room times and mentioned the discount for guests who dine at the Perkins restaurant next door. Our room was spacious with a pull out couch and good A/C. Breakfast was the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, milk, yogurt, juice. As soon as she heard a guest mention that there was no coffee, the staff member promptly returned with the refill. The complementary airport shuttle was also convenient, making for an overall stay that was restful and hassle free.

We primarily stayed here for use of the airport shuttle and long term parking. The room was clean and there were a variety of options for breakfast. Using the shuttle to get to and from the airport was super easy and worked really well. The only thing we were disappointed in was that on the website they said parking was $6/ day ( we would be gone 7 days, so $42 ) however when we said we wanted to use this service at checkin, they said it was actually going to be $75 for the whole time. Even after I showed them a screen shot of the $6/ day on the website, they just said the website was wrong and wouldn't give me the advertised price. This was disappointing since that was significantly more than we were expecting. We would have stayed somewhere else since other hotels offered less expensive long term parking options.
